My Lloyds bank agent, I think his name is Abdul, explained the policy fully so I understood and all the fine points were covered. The policy was exactly what I needed and cost was reasonable
I cant remember the exact date.

Insured through Lloyds because I wanted greater protection for bikes etc so payed a premium for the insurance.
I had a flood in my kitchen early this year, fast forward today still not resolved, absolutely terrible communication. Every time you call it's a hour wait that's if the call doesn't drop. No way of seeing any updates online as the site is garbage. Only way you can communicate is through emails to the claims adviser that takes two weeks to return with pointless drivel I can only assume to delay or confuse their customers.
A word of warning if you are retired I would steel well clear, if this were my parents they would have given up and paid to have the repairs themselves, maybe that's Lloyds business model I don't know.
Anyway now I need to push this on to the insurance ombudsman due to Lloyds negligence(fyi raised it to Lloyds complaints and they have already paid me compensation, so they know they are useless).
I don't like giving bad reviews but seriously I've never dealt with a company this poor.

I have banked with Lloyds Bank for many years. The last few years I have taken out Home Insurance with them. The renewal for this year was higher. I rang them up & said I had various cheaper quotes which they matched!
I just went to renew the policy online & for some reason the quote online was different to the reduced quote.
I rang again & spoke to Saidi. He couldn’t have been more helpful! He was polite, patient & took the time to sort it out, considering it was the end of the working day he did not rush me through the process of logging on again & waited until I was happy. Thank you Saidi. 🙂

So disappointing. Unfortunately I have had to claim for landlord insurance under the Halifax brand. The strategy is clear - try to wriggle out of liability. After a year, they’ve admitted. The process is so slow and despite ‘loss of rent’ and other such marketing terms, it doesn’t mean anything. My case is farmed out to a loss adjuster who simply doesn’t care. Seriously consider an insurance only specialist rather that anything to do with Lloyds.

Very easy to use and to update when needed

It was a fairly straightforward on-line transaction, although I hate being forced to do on-line things. But you have closed local branches, and lost some of my trade, as I WILL NOT travel 60 mile return journey to nearest branch.

Contacted Lloyds for house & contents insurance. Quote was not the lowest but have faith in Lloyds Bank. Getting a quote on line was simple and after deciding to go with Lloyds the whole process was completed very quickly.
