Very bad service - did not provide the full service that was paid for in advance. I would not recommend JG Pest Control. They refused to refund us for very bad service.

The initial site attendance was positive although I was surprised at the positioning of the external trap but obviously went with the professional. A few days afterwards it was clear that the internal trap had snared a squirrel as there was a lot of banging and scraping from the roof space. On inspection, I found a squirrel caught by one leg in the trap, with a lot of blood around the area. A second technician attended quite promptly but by the time he did, the injured squirrel had escaped. The trap was relocated in the roof space and secured (the first one allegedly wasn't secured, hence the trapped squirrel had dragged it). It has not been triggered. The external trap has not been triggered and we watch and hear squirrels scampering around it and along the part of the roof I originally indicated was the "run".
The technicians were both very polite, their work was clean and tidy although the second one found the conditions in the roof space quite challenging. The first visit allegedly had no difficulties , although of course he did not securely locate the trap.
The experience with the injured squirrel was distressing, particularly as it was above a child's bedroom.
All in all, I have probably wasted my money

All the rats have now gone, as far as I can tell. There was some confusion in communication of imformation between the different parties in the office and the man on the job, but it was resolved in the end

i had a mole problem . set the traps said they would be back in five days
ten days later had to call them to remove . when they did come back we found another mole so to be fair they laid new traps at no extra charge ,
said they would be back in five days that was eight weeks ago . so i removed them myself .lack of communication me thinks !! .

Bed bugs, yuk! We had far too many uninvited guests. JG Pest Control were kind and patient with us on each visit. We did need several visits which was not the plan, but JG Pest Control staff explained the treatment that was required and the costs in a calm manner.. Eventually we became confident that all unpleasant squatters had been evacuated.

Came around to do a survey and was honest and didn't pressure into unnecessary work.

J G Pest Control are a very professional company. They visited my property on three occasions to eliminate a rodent problem and gave some good advice. They kept me informed by email after each visit. I would recommend this company.

After 4 months the pest problem has not been resolved despite many visits. I have had conflicting opinions on what the problem is, and although I was advised that I would not be left high and dry, I cannot get hold of a manager to discuss next steps, and instead a member of the team was sent round to remove everything without any resolution. Very let down, as I'd picked this company due to its promises of being able to sort out any pest problem. I would have liked for someone to have had the curtesy to talk to me instead of ignoring my requests to see what else could be advised.

JG Pest Control responded quickly to my call especially as it was a Saturday. Their operators were knowledgeable and their methods of dealing with the "pests" humane.Their follow up work was also good and the problem of squirrels in our loft seems to be resolved.

The prospect of having this work done on the house was not a pleasant one. However the two chaps were professional, helpful, courteous and provided reassurance about the whole process. They answered our questions, advised on the removal of items from the rooms and precisely what the process would involve. We remained at home throughout the day (in a separate building outside), were kept informed and were notified of the time we could re enter our house. I hope we never have to go through a similar experience, but would not hesitate to recommend this firm for pest control work to anyone in a similar predicament.
