Very good quick professional service....Guy that came was genuine and very helpful. ...Only small gripe was in the initial contact phone call the guy was a tad disinterested in me as a person when I needed advice....But overall a professional service especially the actual guy who got rid of the bees up my chimney!

Stephen came out and treated a wasps nest. There was no sign of any wasps the next day or since. He was very professional in his duties and I have already recommended this company to a few people.

We contacted JG Pest Control after hearing mice in our loft space and they visited several times (approx 5-6) over the course of a few weeks to ensure that the problem was dealt with. They patched small areas of damage and renewed bait several times to ensure that the mice were gone.

Wasps nest removed with no hassle - Called at 08:30 - they arrived same day. Guy who came out was friendly, got the job done quickly with minimum fuss, and I was able to pay by card over the phone. Simple and easy to deal with, and they offered a guarantee that they would come back for free if the nest was not totally destroyed after one treatment. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent fast and efficient same day service. We were planning a garden party that weekend and service saved our guests from being stung. They offered to come back before the party for a second treatment if first didn't work. But it did!

Found a bees nest underground whilst digging in the garden. Called JG and they came the same day. They had to come back and treat the nest again, as a few bees returned about a week later, but they came without any hassle. I am now bee free 🙂.

Quick and efficient service in getting rid of large wasps nest

During the last winter, we discovered that we had a rat infestation. It was our first time we had to use a pest control company. On our first visit, we were initially impressed. The pest controller came right away and browsed around, left some bate trays and a trap and suggested where they could be entering the property. However, since that visit, we have been left very unimpressed.

On the second visit, an older man came. He seemed a bit more rushed and then left with a very negative report regarding a different property. Soon after he left, we started to smell something horrible in the home, like something had died. I did stress my concern regarding the possibility of the rodents dying in the house at the time of arranging the first visit, but I was reassured that this would not happen as the bate was designed to drive them away from the property and back to their nest. As discussed though, If there were any problems we should contact them again, so we did. We were promised they would search for the dead animal and remove it if they could find it, or deodorise the area if they could not find it. They sent another pest controller over the following week, however, when he came he seemed eager leave again and only made a very quick attempt to look for it, claiming it will take too long to make a thorough investigation. He told us that he had not been prepared for this visit and had no deoderiser with him. He left without addressing the problem at all, claiming the smell will go away within 4 days. We contacted the company again, complained and arranged another visit, and although a more thorough investigation was carried out the second time, the dead animal was never found and the pest controller still had no deoderiser. We were left with the horrible smell for weeks, until it finally went away (although I still think it's lingering slightly). It was a very unpleasant experience and made us feel sick. They came back on the final visit and cleared everything away.

The service was very overpriced for the service we actually got and later found out we could have had it done far cheaper with a more local company. The company is based in London and does not seem to have much of a presence in our local area in Devon, as often there would not be any pest controllers nearby that could come right away to address our problems. When they did finally arrive, they were ill-prepared and we had the impression that they could not get away quick enough. We could have done the work ourselves at a very small fraction of the cost for what they had done. I would not recommend them at all.

Did exactly that they meant to do. Kill those bugs.
