All I can say is that you get TOP QUALITY service from a TOP QUALITY Company. If you pay cheap ypu will end up paying three four or five times over a lifetime. With Humphries their work looks like it will be a ONE TIME only so it justifies the time effort and well worth extra expense you might.
We just googled wardrobes and had a look around for different companies.
From the first phonecall they were interested in what WE WANTED, and HOW THEY CAN HELP US. Looking on their website doesn't tell the full story they provide excellent service. A free home visit no pressure sales just interest in what your requirements are, to make your home more comfortable, storage solutions and aesthetically excellent. Its worth a phonecall at least. So from our first visit and a short (no pressure informal) discussion we were told that a design would forward some plans to have a look at . A couple of days later some plans arrived, the measurements were easy for us (who are not DIY people to follow) we couldn't picture what it would look like but we knew we were not dealing with cowboys ! After an email with a couple of questions we finalised our plans and our first payment was made. Materials were purchased, and then a date was made. We were kept in the loop ALL THE WAY through the 4-5 week process (including Christmas Break) and it was done. the fitter came in to fit our Double wardrobe over 6 feet wide then floor to ceiling. We also had a Shoe storage built in another room the two units which were not small were built and finished by one man, in two days.Amazing there was hardly an dust as the Carpenter hoovered after each day, placed dust sheets on the floor and covered the furniture we had left in our bedroom. Cleaning up by us after he left was not an option...none to do. Once he left day 3 and 4 a Painter came in to paint the MDF units in White. Used Primer and Acrylic Paint...So professional and just look great, Our daughter has so much storage but more important we got what we wanted for the money we paid. There was no a drip of paint anyway. If anything it made us want to re-decorate to bring the room up to the standard of the wardrobe and Shoe storage. All I can say is I would use them again for small and large jobs. They contacted us through the process to ask if we were happy and we had two workmen who arrived on time 8.30am and were gone around 5pm without stopping for snacks,tea,cigarettes etc...They were quiet and respectful of our home and children, and offered us aftercare advice. If anything give this professional company a chance to build your wardrobes, storage space, desks etc.Final payment was made by Bank transfer after our painting work had dried and we had contact asking us if we were happy with the job. We were happy to pay as we were happy, more than , with the job ! and the service.

I am very happy with the final product.getting here wasn’t always easy. It is an extremely expensive bespoke service. The cupboards and shelves I had made and painted are exactly what I wanted. But I never quite understood how Humphries worked. I dealt with different people at different times, all really lovely and competent. The carpenter, Charlotte and her assistant who were on site were delightful. The painter, Kiri, was meticulous. I only paid the final amount when I was satisfied with the end product-that required Charlotte to come back. As an aside, I was pleased to employ women craftspeople.
I had been to see their work before I signed on the dotted line, and I am glad I took this slowly and thoughtfully. But the final product is worth it. However, a ‘cast list’ might help’!

Humphries build us a large bespoke bookshelf for our lounge. Great craftsmanship from the carpenters and painters. Very professional and would recommend.

The actual work carried out is definitely 5 star, very happy with the finished result.

There was a slight bit of confusion and back and forth with the design phase and misinformation. Which resulted in myself having to be a bit more hands on than I anticipated. However this was resolved eventually. Would recommend Humphries!

Excellent service from Humphries Cabinets. They were responsive and attentive to our design requests, and the carpenters were not only very professional but also very friendly. We are very pleased with the finished product for our new home office and bedroom storage space.

Beautiful wardrobe. Great proportions and design. Well made and painted. Very good craftsmen who cleaned up and protected furniture. Would definitely use again and recommend.

This is an outstanding company: I had a bespoke wardrobe made for my daughter's bedroom, and two units in the living room. The experience was very good from start to finish, and all the people/departments involved (design, carpentry and decorators) were easy to deal with, responsive and efficient.

I had an overall great experience with Humphries, the carpenter on site was absolutely excellent!

One reservation is that their process of using a different person for the survey, design, preparing drawings for sign off and coordination etc. is not ideal. It would be better to be dealing with one person only. However if you are looking for a bog standart alcove solution they are phantastic.

The tradespeople were great but were told carpenters were coming one day and didn’t come so I had taken two hours off work to wait for them and then when I rang were told they weren’t coming and they had forgotten to tell me. Then painting manager told me the painters were coming on one day and they didn’t and then on the day I was told that they couldn’t get the paint we had ordered. The painter was great and sorted out an alternate colour but then he had to wait for said painting manager to pay money into the account so he could buy it. When asked she was defensive to both me and my partner and offered no apology and said it wasn’t her fault. I would never use this company again especially for the prices they charge

I had a very positive experience with Humphries Cabinets for the Alcove unit built for our new office (converted garage). Throughout the journey, a member of staff would engage in each step of the process to ensure the job was delivered on time and to expectation. I would highly recommend them for any carpentry works.

Hcabinets are amazing! From the planning stage, to the drawings to the carpentry and painting, their attention to detail was honestly second to none. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and professional and went out of their way to make sure everything was just as we wanted it to be. The finished wardrobes and bookshelves are fabulous and we will definitely be using this company again!

Humphries built me some custom kitchen cupboards and geometric floating shelves in the alcoves in the bedroom of my flat. I'm so pleased with the work; the customer service was excellent, and they really made sure that the drawings were perfect before starting the job. The work itself was completed earlier than expected as they fit me in following a cancellation, and both Mirek the carpenter and Kim the painter did a great job and checked details with me as they went along, to make sure everything fit my expectations. What I asked for wasn't standard, but Humphries really brought my ideas to life - thank you to everyone involved!

So great to deal with a company that communicates well, is priced fairly and delivers an amazing product. I had a wardrobe, shelves and built in bookcase made and they are all beautiful. I was kept informed at every stage and the carpenter worked so hard and the end result is incredible. such a delight to work with a company that every member of staff takes such pride in their work and makes you feel like a valued customer. thank you.

A rare gem. They are very patients and very skilful. A special thank you goes to Tatjana for all the amendments I asked to do in the design, to the very skilful Charlotte for the excellent work in building the wardrobes and finally Rebeka for giving the final touch.

I recently had two alcove shelves with cabinets installed, and I am extremely pleased with the results it exceeded my expectations and makes the room feel complete and homely. The whole process went smoothly, communication was excellent at every step, all departments highly skilled professionals handled everything seamlessly, and the price was also quite competitive. We are very pleased with the team that built our cabinets and shelves. Always kept to the dates agreed. Measurements were taken and plans were issued to us for review and the requested changes were accommodated without a fuss. The workmanship of the carpenters was of a high standard. The finished product is to our satisfaction with a lovely painted Matt finish. Only negative comment is that the price was on the high side!

We had new wardrobes for our bedroom built by Humphries and we couldn't be happier with them. Everyone was fantastic from the designers, carpenters and painters. They communicated with us every step of the way and were so diligent with our wardrobes. Couldn't recommend them enough :)

Excellent work, started earlier than initially scheduled and finished in good time. I had a difficult corner and a very specific idea how it should look and the team delivered. I was also looking for a rather odd solution for shoe storage and after a bit of back and forth in planing, it turned out exactly as envisioned although the team had never built anything like it. Last but not least, everyone in the team, both at headquarters as well as on site were very nice, accommodating, considerate and easy to have around. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend.

I hired Humphries to build two alcove cupboards and shelves and a bookcase between the chimney breasts in a through lounge. I couldn't be happier with the result. Everyone I dealt with was professional and lovely to deal with and the result felt solid and really well finished. I would definitely recommend.
