Easy reservation system to navigate and good price

Excellent prices easy booking and very quick

The process and pricing were all great but the return of the credit card deposit is ridiculous - we have been back for 2 weeks and it has still not been processed. Called them to query it and told this can take up to one month! If its not been returned call us back to initiate a claim. UNBELIEVABLE as this amount is taken off your cc limit til cancelled. Will not be using in future.

Straight forward booking process good prices for car hire

Appalling customer service, I mistakenly clicked the wrong button whilst checking my booking, made 6 months ago, it immediately cancelled my booking and even though I called them immediately they would not cancel my mistake. The only option they gave was to rebook at an extra cost of £1000. A bunch of thieves, do not go anywhere near them.

I have booked a car in Tunisia using Gotrentacars. I contracted a complimentary insurance to cover eventual damages. On my way to give back the car, the windshield was hit by a stone. I claimed the insurance coverage. After 2 months I have not heard back from them. I have sent various reminders and I only get to hear that it takes longer than expected. It is really a bad experience. If I had taken the insurance with the rental company I would not have had this problem.

I hired a car from Magic Car Hire in Madeira via GotRentalCars. My £1,500 security deposit has still not been returned more than a month after returning the vehicle. I have repeatedly tried contacting the company by email and telephone with little success and have now had to ask my bank to investigate. I will update this review if the matter is resolved.

Sixt were not happy I used this company to book through as it stated all insurance included & road side assistance. When Sixt tried to upsell me insurance I showed them my Gotrentals.com paperwork which stated road side assistance included but they said no it was not. Lucky didn’t need it in this trip!
Gotrentals.com Were the absolute best price but the address is given as France and the rental companies do not seem to like that.

One of the most important things about this booking is that I managed to speak to someone on the phone before I made the booking...That for us was very important to speak to a human being...it has not value!

Rented our car through Gotrentals and Autocandia. The local car hire in Kefalonia was Katsouris rental. They were so friendly, had a perfect rental car. Met at the airport all went so smoothly. I will use them again. Great service
