I recently underwent augmentation mastopexy with Mr Stipo Matic and I couldn’t be happier with my experience or the results. From the very first consultation, my surgeon and their team made me feel completely comfortable, heard, and supported. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and guided me through every step with honesty and care.

The day of the procedure went smoothly, and the staff’s calm professionalism instantly put me at ease. Recovery was far easier than I expected the clinic’s follow-up care and detailed instructions made a huge difference. Within just a few weeks, I felt back to myself only more confident and in love with my shape.

The results are everything I hoped. It’s incredible how such a change can boost not just your appearance, but your self-esteem.

I would 100% recommend Elanic.

I signed up for hip replacement in November 2024 and paid £1000 deposit for surgery in January 2025.

It never happened, my surgery was cancelled 5 times. Each time I was told it would be rescheduled in the next couple of weeks, so being self employed I couldn’t take new customers and have lost significant salary not to mention damage to my reputation as a reliable business!

Long story short, the cancellations also impacted on my health so surgery had to be postponed. I agreed they could keep my deposit until I was well enough. They assured me I would be given a full refund if I decided not to proceed because of all the cancellations.

I am now getting op on NHS, so have cancelled Elanic yet still waiting for refund.
I accept their reasons for cancelling surgery as it seemed it was outwith their control however, not refunding deposits or replying to calls/emails is inexcusable.

Anyone having similar problems should report them to the regulatory body for private health care in Scotland.

Worse company ever , it has been over a month and i didnt get my refund back . They pushed me so so much to put a deposit down..They have even breached their own contract as it states refunds are given within 28 days ! You are only money for them and if something goes wrong forget about getting your money back ! Avoid avoid avoid !! They also ignore your calls and emails if something goes wrong !!

Excellent service from day one. Had a hip replacement performed by Mr Bryceland. He has a great beside manner and was a big part of my deciding to use Elanic. Given the price I was a bit hesitant, given the competition were much dearer, which makes to wonder if the service will be as good. There was absolutely no need to worry! I was out the same day, walking without sticks in the house in two, two miles daily after that and stick free in two weeks. Very, very pleased!!

This company has terrible work ethics, appointments getting cancelled on the day of treatments. First time I was on operation theatre table when I was given news that the surgeon was not coming! So it was rescheduled. At that time I thought unforeseen things can happen to anyone and although rescheduling surgery was very inconvenient, I accepted the situation. This was few years ago. About 2 years ago I had an appointment with a nurse for non surgical procedure - again got a call from Elanic few hours before to notify me that the procedure was cancelled, at that time I did complain but the only answer I was given was- we are sorry! I rescheduled the appointment. Today I had the same procedure planned with the same nurse and few hours prior to the appointment I got a call from Elanic , notifying me that the appointment was cancelled as the nurse was not available! I am a busy professional with full time job and two children and I had taken my holiday time off work for this ! This happened 3 times! I would not recommend using this company to anyone! Work ethic is terrible! No respect to patients!

Deposit not refunded – avoid this clinic

I booked breast augmentation with Elanic and paid a £1,000 deposit, which I was told in writing would be fully refundable. At my consultation, I was suddenly quoted an excessive amount more than what I had been led to believe based on the initial telephone call, I made the decision to cancel my surgery whilst at my consultation and soon after submitted a refund request as advised.

It is now nearly September, and despite contacting the clinic multiple times, I have still not received my money back or any update on it for that matter despite my many attempts at reaching out. After being continuously ignored via email I then decided to get in touch via Instagram and was told my query would be “forwarded to management” but unsurprisingly I’ve had no response since. Meanwhile, the same staff member who ignores my emails has been contacting people I know, pushing them to book surgery- proving the email address is monitored and it is a case of deliberate avoidance.

To make matters worse a family member is also waiting on their deposit refund from months ago, which indicates this is not an isolated case.

This is completely unacceptable, and I will now be pursuing the matter through small claims court. I had hoped to resolve this amicably but the complete lack of professionalism and utter disrespect to ignore me and withhold my own money from me is an absolute disgrace and has pushed me to take matters further.

My advice: do not hand over any money to this clinic until you are absolutely certain about their practices as clearly this is a recurring theme for elanic based on my, my family member and other people who have attended this clinics experiences that are mentioned within this review thread.

Dreadful!!! Have been waiting since April for a consultation fee which was cancelled.

Very very bad outcome loosing all my face is a mess the skin won’t heal random bruises pop up on my face swelling lasted months and months followed post advice I don’t think I was even suitable for ablative laser and disfigured with the mini lift . Staff ignore you unless you’re obviously interested in a procedure they respond very quickly .

I had breast surgery performed by Mr Paul Drake. I went in for my consultation and I felt Paul was very professional and honest about what results I could expect from what he could achieve, I felt he was not trying to sell me the procedure and that he had my best interest .
Following on to the day of my procedure the surgeon, the anaesthetist, and nurse knew I was nervous and made me feel so at ease and all talked me through everything . Aftercare has been great. This team are kind and caring. I cannot fault them.
I am blown away by my results. I cannot thank the team enough!

I can't praise my hip replacement surgeon Mr Andrew MacDonald and the hospital team enough for the excellent care, support and kindness given to me at Elanic Glasgow.

Everyone at the clinic were very caring and understanding. Mr Kevin Bryceland, the surgeon, explained everything to me in full and quashed any fears or anxiety that I had. Johnross Cargill, Medical Patient Co-Ordinator Lead, was exceptional and looked after me superbly. All in all a fabulous experience and I cannot recommed highly enough.

I recently had knee surgery at Elanic in Glasgow and the whole experience has been extremely positive, I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Johnross in the booking team was great at scheduling appointments both quickly and at a convenient time and kept me updated at all points. On the day of surgery Kayleigh and the rest of the team in the hospital couldn’t have been more helpful and reassuring. The facilities were excellent and I was in theatre quickly with no waiting around. I felt really well looked after as I recovered and was discharged the same evening after seeing physio.

Mr Nunn carried out my surgery - from the first consultation I felt he really listened to what my goals were and talked me through all my options clearly so I felt I was able to make an informed decision. Post surgery he explained everything that had been carried out and included photos which I found really helpful.

I am so glad I made the decision to have my surgery at Elanic and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to someone else. Their pricing was really competitive and the hospital was really easy to get to both by train and car due to the location.

I’m still early days in my recovery but things are all going in the right direction and I’m really grateful to the whole team for their exceptional level of care from first point of contact.

I recently had a hip replacement at Elanic Hospital, Bath Street, Glasgow, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
The hospital itself is state-of-the-art, and every staff member I encountered was welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable.
Mr. Kakar, my surgeon, was incredibly thorough, honest, and reassuring during my consultation, and I felt completely safe in his care.
Communication from the team, especially Ashleigh Jolly, was excellent throughout, and I was kept fully informed at every step.
On the day of surgery, the nursing, anaesthetist and physiotherapy teams were fantastic - caring, attentive, and highly skilled.
I was amazed to be up and taking steps just two hours after the operation with minimal discomfort.
I am truly grateful to Mr. Kakar and the entire Elanic team for their expertise, care, and support.

Three weeks after my knee arthroscopy with Mr Kakar and my knee feels great. Never thought I'd be back on the tennis courts again but my knee already feels super strong and pain free.

The service was amazing from everyone at Elanic and the price was about half of anywhere else I found in Glasgow. Super quick too, from initial enquiry to procedure within a week.

Well worth the money, can't recommend or thank Elanic and Mr Kakar enough.

I had a hernia operation carried out with surgeon Mr Hasan Kasem in July 2024 when in the recovery room I was informed I could get up and leave when I went to stand i fell on my face on the hard floor as I was parylised down the one side and very confused. I was lifted back onto to the recovery table a short time later the surgeon Hasan Kasem appeared and informed me he had spoken tothe anetist how informed him this can sometimes happen and left .I was dragged out the clinic to my car with my son and a member of staff to my car in a very confused state. This is all on cctv . I had no pre op medical no blood pressure no wight taken to checks done prior to my operation. I fell twice more when back home trying to go to the toilet as I was parylised down one side. A few days later I recived a phone call from Elanic clinic to inform me they had given me an overdose of anesthetic and this had never happened before and apologised. I had a face to face meeting with surgeon Mr Hasan Kasem (i have the recording of this meeting) Mr Hasem informed no pre op is required on wight of patients ect as ever person is the same not in less you are really skinny his exact words. I have requested all phone readings and cctv as at the start of every phone call you are informed it's been recorded. I was told they deleted calls after 30 days my response was that's ok as I put a formal complaint in after 7 days now they ignore my emails that's burnt happing since I put my complaint in as they are hoping I will just go away. They did offer me £250 compensation . This is ongoing stay well clear of Elanic as you put your life at risk.

I’ve had gynaecomastia since my teenage years, rating it between 1 and 2 in severity. After years of considering surgery, I finally took the plunge. My procedure at Elanic cost £5,600 and included bilateral excision and VASER lipo, performed under twilight sedation and local anaesthetic. My surgeon was Vivek Sivarajan, a BAAPS-registered specialist in breast surgeries.

The booking process was easy—I submitted an online form, and a coordinator called the next day to discuss my case and book a £50 consultation (this doesn’t come off the surgery cost). The clinic was large, modern, and spotless, and the staff were great. Vivek assessed my chest, explained the procedure, showed before-and-after photos, and answered all my questions.

Choosing a clinic wasn’t easy—I read plenty of reviews for both Elanic and Signature Clinic, including some negative ones. In the end, I realised that if I overthought every review, I’d never move forward. I trusted my gut and chose Elanic because their surgeons are BAAPS-registered, Vivek’s reviews felt more transparent, and they offer twilight sedation, which made me feel much more comfortable.

On surgery day, I was really anxious, having never had an operation or sedation before. The nurses were fantastic—most are ex-NHS, so they were experienced and calming. They explained everything, took pre-op photos, and reassured me. Before surgery, Vivek checked in, then it was off to the operating theatre. One moment, I was talking about cats, and the next, I woke up in recovery—it felt like no time had passed. As someone who was nervous about sedation, I now wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

After waking up, the team gave me coffee, water, and snacks, told me to take my time, and called my partner to collect me. They fitted me into my compression vest, which felt extremely tight, but they assured me it was necessary for healing. Vivek checked in before I left and told me everything had gone well—my chest was now flat (though I couldn’t see it yet due to bandages).

Recovery was challenging at first. The compression vest was uncomfortable, especially under my arms, which became bruised. Sleeping was rough, and I felt restricted, but I adjusted after a few nights. I also noticed some blood/discharge under my right nipple and sent photos to Elanic—they called me within 20 minutes to reassure me it was normal. After a few days, I started feeling better and was back working from home on day five, though I wish I’d taken the full week off to rest properly. By day six, I had my nurse check-in, my bandages removed, and could finally shower again. My range of motion is still limited, but I have no pain, and my chest is healing well.

Honestly, I can’t fault my experience with Elanic. From consultation to surgery and aftercare, everything was smooth and professional. The staff were knowledgeable, reassuring, and supportive, even when I was feeling nervous. My chest already looks great, and I know it will only improve.

Elanic isn’t the cheapest, but I think the expertise of Vivek, the aftercare from the nurses, the option for sedation, and my results so far make it more than worth it. I’ll update this review at the six-week mark.
