The cashback email ended up in my spam folder, so I missed it. Customer service later helped by manually issuing me a gift card after over 10 back-and-forth emails.
When I went to use the card for a big purchase this month, the link had already expired. At no stage during the re-issue process was I told the link was only valid for 90 days, and the final email containing the link didn’t state this either.
When I contacted Global Savings Group (who manage this), they refused to help and blamed me, pointing to terms from an email sent almost three years ago. Expecting customers to recall terms from a long-lost email, without ever restating them when reissuing the reward, feels unreasonable and poor practice.
This process has been very frustrating, with no accountability or willingness to resolve the issue. I have been left £70 out of pocket. Based on my experience, I would advise caution when using DailyMailOffers and suggest considering other cashback services.
My response to MailOnline's reply:
1. This was a travel transaction with Booking.com, so by your own exception policy it should still be covered.
2. The original link that expired was the redemption link, not the gift card. The gift card was only issued after I chased this up, yet no 90-day expiry was ever stated at that point.
3. I was told about the 90-day limit was in your email on 8th September 2025, after the link had already expired. Sharing terms only after they lapse is simply unreasonable.
Upon further investigation, according to Runa’s policies, if a gift card is not redeemed, the system automatically recovers unclaimed or expired balances, returning the money to the merchant. This suggests that the decision to refuse a reissue is a deliberate choice by MailOnline, as the funds have already returned to back upon expiry.
Very disappointing service by the lack of accountability in the response.

I had to wait 4 months for a gift card that was never sent (later confirmed as a technical error). However Ricardo and Pierre were very responsive with my queries and eventually got my gift card over to me.

Whilst the responses to my emails are prompt and courteous, I am astounded that I am still having to chase my voucher. My purchase was confirmed as tracked & validated in April 2024. I paid my balance in full in January 2025 and took the holiday in April 2025. My tan has faded and the memories are now distant but still find myself chasing my voucher. Disappointing, as with so many replies confirming everything has been validated I’m struggling to understand the delay.

Had an email from Pierre on 25/07/25 asking for which giftcard id like, I responded the same day asking for a John Lewis one and no reply again. This is the third review about the poor service, and no issue of the gift card.
Goodwill gesture should be provided.

Good service received from Ricardo, I was still waiting for my reward to come through after about 2 months but after I explained the situation, Ricardo took care of it for me and ensured I received my gift card. I have given 1 star less for the simple fact that I had to chase it up and the gift card was not automatically sent to me. However, Ricardo did explain this was due to a technical error.

Made a Boots purchase through hotukdeals, which tracked successfully. However, the process is long and easy to forget after many months. I have been trying to source a gift card incentive having booked a holiday via Mailonline. This has proved challenging for whatever reason and communication hasn’t always been forthcoming from Mailonline systems. I have however persisted following this throughfor a number of months and found Ricardo to be extremely helpful and has taken personal ownership throughout. Today this has been successfully resolved.
