Beautiful carpet

Beautiful carpet, quick delivery. Quality is outstanding. Idea carpet chosen with having family dog . Colour is what we were looking for.
Service from Wirral flooring was excellent, staff very knowledgable with all advice given .

Carpet leeching oil!!

I am very unhappy with the Cormar carpet which I purchased from Clarkston Carpet Centre and was fitted by their fitter. Having a carpet fitted in the lounge of a very small house causes huge inconvenience as there is nowhere to put anything. Also, having to disconnect my router, TV box and all the other gadgets to enable the fitter to lay the carpet is quite a challenge as well as having to reconnect them afterwards. It is all so time consuming. Doing it all once is bad enough and something I can put up with for the benefit of getting a new carpet. However, finding that my new Cormar carpet was leeching oil from within the fibres was just awful!! I have never heard of this before and, to be honest, I was really disgusted! What if a child had found it. The shop manager came and tried to clean it (not happy about that) but another oil stain appeared while he was here. In the end he did agree to get me a new carpet but I wasn't going to have a Cormar one. I know that the shop will be reimbursed for the carpet and fitting, but I have been totally inconvenienced by having to move everything from my living room yet again and spend another day dealing with the whole situation. I think I should be compensated for all the stress and inconvenience. I am a 73 year old woman and I don't expect to have to deal with all of this.
