Delivery Date Oops
On the date of my purchase I was told that my delivery date was 8/13/22, not only by the salesperson, but the mgr as well. I was told you will receive a call that morning to confirm a window. Come the morning or 8/13, I had not heard anything so I decided to call. Mr. Thomas your delivery is not scheduled until the 20th! They never should have told you the 13th because they're only in your area every two weeks! It would have been nice if someone would have relayed this to me prior to giving my old furniture away. Now I'm without furniture for a week! This is not customer service. My last purchase from Conns.

You cannot get anyone on the phone that is not offshore in the Philippines. you get transferred from one department to another and no one knows that they are doing or how to resolve anything.

BUYERS BEWARE --- I purchased what i thought was new furniture BUT yet to find out they were aware they charged me full price for my items that were second hand items per store Mgrs. Barry.
The furniture arrived damaged, they again were aware of this because i was told this after they picked it back up and they tried to deliver the "NEW FURNITURE" I refused the new furniture and they took back the "second hand furniture" on 7-21 . Here we are 8-4-2022 and i still have yet to get a refund. Ive called everyone (BBB, filed complaints with CONNS Customer service # and filed a dispute with my credit card company) Conns is ignoring them as well. You are not allowed to speak with the District Mgr. who i am sure has no idea how these stores are being run.
Ive been told i am only trying to help you but if they were i would have received my refund 7-22-2022.

This company is terrible , i ended up paying $355 more because someone from Conns decided to modify my contract without my permission. I called customer service and they said they couldn't do anything but to make me pay !!!!!! I tried for a month and a half to find a solution for this mistake made from a Conns employee and didn't took any responsibility about it !!!!!!! BE CAREFUL PEOPLE !!!

The company they use for some purchases is ACIMA. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SIGN WITH THEM. Acima is a loan shark!!! I purchased 2 items from Conns totaling $998.99. The representative from Acima showed me a spend down report that shows the balance due each month if you pay it off after the 90 days. She told me that if I paid the balance off before the end of the 12 month period, the balance due was listed on the spend down report. So, I went to the store in Colonial Heights, VA., to pay off the last 5 payments. The spend down report showed $452 and some change. The Acima representative in the Conns store looked up my account and said the pay off would be $830. I asked him why it was so much and he said he didn’t know. So I told him to call Acima. The representative I spoke with there was very rude, and acted like I was stupid. He said he didn’t even know what a spend down report was, and that I owed $830 to pay off the balance. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and he said that wouldn’t change anything. The supervisor basically said the same thing. That if I didn’t pay it off before 90 days there would be a percentage added to the balance. I said that that could not be right. Because why would I be given a spend down showing what the pay off would be each month. I got upset and knew that they were not going to adjust the balance, so I went ahead and paid the $830 to just finish with this company. They didn’t even care, when I warned them that I was going to give BAD reviews. This is poor business, and I will not deal with this company anymore, and that includes Conns. BUYERS BEWARE OF GETTING HIDDEN FEES.

Absolute crap products, customer service as well as customer loyalty! They don’t even know what any of those things mean! Four out of six products from them are no good anymore! Can’t be fixed or repaired, made me believe warranty was included with purchase only to find out once the deal was done I had no coverage! Customer service is a Circus crap show! Just don’t! While there may be decent people working there. Terrible business practices to the point of being predatory.
They do not inform you that the 12 months of no interest is ending or even that the automated payments are ending. They state that this is the customer's responsibility. Then they hit you with late fees and notify the credit bureaus that you're delinquent! All this when you're doing everything right and thinking there are automated payments going out.

They get 1star because I can't give them less than 1. Bought a GE Profile refrigerator from them with an extended warranty 2 years ago. I have lost food in the freezer and fridge 3 times. They have been out 3 times already and ordered parts the last time and scheduled an appointment to come back and attempt to fix the problem. I have reported them to the better business bureau. The worst customer service and repair service there is. I will be purchasing a new refrigerator. Do nt buy from Conns in North Carolin
Hit and run delivery truck
My neighbor bought a washer from Conn's. On 4/12/22, her delivery arrived in an oversized truck that, as it left our shared easement road, knocked down tree limbs and also ripped off the cable line bolted to my roof. It knocked off part of my siding, ripped off part of the fascia and tore a chunk of wood out of the roofing board the fascia covered. I heard the noise from inside my house and came out in time to see the Conn's driver drive off. Luckily for me, our security cameras caught the whole incident. That same day I called Conn's, told them what had happened and was told by them that it would take them 24 hours to get back to me. On 4/13, I called again and was told it would take 72 hours. On 4/15, I called and emailed them the video of the damage being done by their delivery driver. On 4/16, Conn's delivery contractors -- a firm called Top Hat -- emailed me and said I would need to get two estimates of the damage done and submit them to them. I did that. On May 17, I received a letter from Conn's delivery contractor saying that they had approved my claim and would send me a check for the highest estimate to cover the repairs as soon as I signed the liability agreement and returned it. I did. It is now July 2, 2022 and I have received no check. When I called Conn's delivery contractor yesterday, I was told that they would send me the tracking number on the check. They didn't. When I called back, the person who was supposedly "helping" me, didn't pick up the phone.
Conn's has never taken any responsibility for the damage their contractor did. They have never followed up with me and, apparently, they haven't followed up with their contractor. Given their obvious lack of concern on such a clearcut matter, I would never count on them to follow up when there are problems with anything. If I don't hear from them by this Tuesday, July 5th, I'm hiring a lawyer. Come to think of it, I may do that anyway. Conn's customer service stinks and, according to the other reviews I've just read, apparently their products do too.

I ordered dryer online, took day off waiting for delivery, later that day I checked on delivery,Oh we’re out of stock on that dryer, Reordered a different one,took another day off,and now they tell me, the dryer kit will be delivered today and the dryer will be delivered tomorrow,another day wasted. I wish I could put zero stars. I purchased a fridge from Conns in Feb of 2021 and it was 12 months same as cash. I paid all my payments on time and in Feb of 2022 it was my last month to pay off to get same as cash. I logged on there online portal and processed a payment of around $668.00 which would have covered the total balance. I assumed it was paid off, two months later I noticed it was still on our credit report so I logged in the portal just to re-verify and what do you know. They changed the date on my last payment to go through on May 6th which therefor added thousands in interest. I called them and they said "since I been paying extra, I didnt have a payment due till May so there portal automatically changed the payment date to May." Apparently I shouls have made sure the payment actually came out. now I owe thousands more then I would have if they would have took the payment I processed. I was originally happy with the service and ready to purchase more intill this happened. They are ripp offs dont buy from here.

this has been the worst experience! items were to be delivered Friday, had I not called I would have never known I was not getting a delivery! after trip to store i was told that my items would be here today (Sunday) and they would call yesterday for time.. No calls period.. no returns calls period! After i was assured my items would be here today, i got rid of the other bed, now looks like i will be sleeping on the floor. I bought some Bose glasses today. They did not have a pair that I bought to try on. I got to my car and tried them on and didn't like the fit. I went back in the store and ask to swap to the tempo. Called to see what time about delivery would be, got bounced back and forth to about 6 people. Some lady named shanikwa was rude and I was asking if I could get a sooner delivery date cause it was pushed another week out and I didn't want to have to cancel so she said ok I'll just cancel order and hung up.

Purchased Stove and Microwave. Was told my old stove and micro would be hauled away. They did not haul way.... Also, they would not install new products. I was supposed to have purchased an Amp wire ring cord for stove. Salesperson Jason did not tell us or provide this. My brother had to go back to store to purchase so the installers would come back. I then have this huge box and stove in my living room for days. Keep in mind this was all a next day advertised delivery. The manager on duty Mariana told me not to worry she would take care of this. We would be reimbursed for cord and compensated for all. I call back after a month goes by. No reimbursement on my credit card. The New manager Chris was very rude. His comment was ...Why should I reimburse you for something you should of bought???? Hu?? This was a bad experience for the start!!!!! They lie to you be very careful.
