Online and Phone Payment System Do Not work
I’ve been trying to pay my bill the last 2 days through the online system and the automated phone system. I called both numbers and it will not let me process payment. It says it will transfer me to agent when it’s after hours and no agent available. I tried through chat and Hal was a joke. It’s frustrating and hate how inconvenient you make it for us to make a payment. Then making a payment today will not be processed till tomorrow online because it’s past 6:30pm when we work and couldn’t do it before. This is not acceptable.
Buyer Beware - not reputable
I purchased a tv on line after talking to a sales person about specific features; when tv was received, and installed the tv did not have those features. After several conversations, the manager refused to consider any return, including an upgrade even though the sales person mispresented the product.

I have been trying to pay my bill online and by phone....BOTH SYSTEMS are not working. I called the store on Austin Peavy only to have a smart ass sales rep.tell me to come in the store to pay it...No...I wrk two jobs and have been paying my bill via phone...isn't that the mode of convenience for the customers! I have never been late with a payment. Customer rep. tells me I have 5 day grace period...which is besides the point. I need no grace period when I have been paying promptly. So I'm suppose to drive across town w/these high gas prices 🤔 Is this some sort of tactic...done on purpose? Your payment is now overdue and you have to pay exorbitant late fees???? Customer rep also did not know when either system (online or pay by phone) will be operable! Poor service and sales rep have no knowledge of anything...except come in store to pay. Very inconvenient. Thumbs down!!!
They ruined our home!
We bought a Samsung refrigerator from Conns in Katy. It was delivered at 3 pm on a Friday. That night I had to take my husband in for emergency surgery. We got back Saturday afternoon to find our home completely flooded. I had to rip out our floors, walls and cabinets. Conns sent their technicians out to see if it was an installation problem. They declared that it was the refrigerators fault and replaced it. They said that we would have to take the damages to our home up with Samsung--who is equally horrible to work with! After weeks and hours on the phone and emailing and texting back and forth with Samsung, we got it to where the ONLY piece of documentation they need to pay the $25,000 it will take to fix our home is the work order from Conns stating that it was the refrigerator's fault. This should be an easy document to get. One would think they would gladly hand that over to be off the hook. Wrong! We have been on the phone for hours with them! They refuse to give us the work order. I did get them to admit over the phone to 2 things. The girl on the phone told me that the managers would no longer take my calls, and 2, There is no longer any documentation as to why they replaced our refrigerator! So amongst my husband trying to heal from his surgery, and the oncoming holidays, that we will not be able to entertain or have family in from out of state, I am now strapped with trying to figure out how to try and pay for all of this damage! I have now entered a complaint with the Attorney General to see if anything comes from that. Conns is the absolute WORST!

Worst Customer Services
Conns is the worst home store I have ever had dealings with. I purchased a window unit ac online from them and tried to return it unused but they would not allow returns after 7 days even though it was in original packaging. Also was told you cannot return items purchased online at their stores. Absolutely do not use conns. Terrible customer service. Will not ever be purchasing from them again. No surprise that they have a 1 star rating with policies like this.
First order and never again!
First order, the delivery guys scratched the refrigerator of the door frame of my house and said they didn't do it but I have it on my home cameras of them moving the fridge back and forth through the door frame to get the fridge in. I refused delivery since I saw them do the scratching to the fridge. Went back to Conns and go another fridge order. Next day, confirm delivery time. The managers know the time press of having this fridge delivered by a certain day due to going out of town for business and not going to be back an over a week. I confirmed the delivery via text and email as well as called dispatch to confirm delivery. I took a whole day off work to wait for the delivery and guess what, no delivery! I called the dispatch line, no answer. Called the store and asked for a manager, guess what no manager there in meetings out of store. The store told me to call the corporate number and she did everything I did called dispatch, called the store. So needless to say, I am without a fridge because the store didn't move the fridge to where it needed to be fro pickup for the delivery guys! And Conns never called to inform me that the order was CANCELLED!!! Good job Conns!

Awful. Con artists. Don’t buy from here!! I asked for a twin over full bed. Which they ordered me the WRONG ONE from an over seas associate. I had no idea until delivery day. I told the delivery guys it was the wrong one. They said to call the store, which I did. Then they tried to say that’s the one I wanted.. no it’s not!!! How can four kids sleep on two twin beds??? Awful just awful. Then on top of that they don’t do returns!!! I won’t be paying my bill!!

Bought a sofa and king size bed
Bought a sofa and king size bed. Furniture was delivered in 2 days but during delivery the furniture was really damaged plus the wall was damaged during installation. I opened an incident report that same day, it's been 6 months but nothing was resolved. I contacted Conns alot of times, but nothing was resolved. Wouldn't ever buy from Conns AGAIN. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This place should close the doors! There is no customer service. Bought a sofa defective came out said they would fix it. Called back when y'all coming? Then they tell me oh that's wear and tear on a brand new sofa! There not honor anything there go somewhere else! I can see by all the other reviews should have read them before I shopped there like your reading now writing your review.

both a laundry center from conns in January 2022 at their promotional price,5 days after getting this item try to use it and realize it was not working, I call them and asked for a replacement because it stated that will be replaced if is less than 30 days of purchase they said they are going to send someone out to fix it anyway I had already made a 1st payment. person came to my home look at the machine and said they have to order the part, the arrived in March after me keep constantly calling and having the run around because the have a horrible customer service. guy came back around March 15th and fixed it all this time I have to go to the laundromat so I refuse to pay for February and March because I was not getting the service of the product,I reinstated my payments in March after item was fixed anyway I decide in September to payoff so I can get the promotional rate I was told I have lost that rate because I missed payment in February and March I even tried to explain that it was missed it was refusal because the item wasn't not working and no one in the right mind is going to pay for something that was bought defective and and was no fixed for almost 3 months, no one in customer care tried to help its their way or no way, so my next step is my lawyer about to contact their corporate office if they have one

Poor, poor customer service AFTER the sale. I purchased my washer and dryer in August and it has still not been installed. I have made at least 15 calls and no one cares. Contacted; salesperson, asst mngr., manager, local warehouse delivery person, out of state Conns home delivery office, and Conns out of state main office. Beware! I can only imagine what it would be like if something major happened, when they cant even get a $50 stacking kit. They did, however, send a delivery truck 150 miles to hand me a bag with 4 screws in it. Ridiculous. Big mistake. You should think twice.

Horrible! Beware! There was a sales price on a sofa I wished to purchase and when they rang it up, they charged me more.. when I caught them they refused to honor the advertised price!!! Wasted an hour of my day.. unprofessional cheaters is best I can say!! Avoid them.. I was at centennial store on county line .. stay away!
Repair and Customer Svc is TERRIBLE.
I bought a reclining loveseat from them in April. The floor model had one side that was difficult to close and didn't have much cushioning. But I figured it's the floor model, and this would happen with overuse. The other side of the loveseat was comfortable and I based my purchase on that.
I get my "new" loveseat within 2 days and, guess what. One side is exactly like the floor model and I've been having the "repair" service out here THREE TIMES. The reclining mechanisms have been replaced and now a cushion. The technician told me that the cushion gets in the way of closing the leg rest so I'll need to just push it around sometimes.
Seriously? It's a manufacturers defect and *I* have to deal with it? Of course, the money Conn's spent in ordering parts is likely the same as if they'd replaced my loveseat with a new one as I've requested multiple times.

I bought a washer and dryer from Conn's Home Plus and they had a deal going on where you could pay no interest for 12 months on purchases. I didn’t plan on financing them but thought, why not!
First off, their “Auto Pay” system hasn’t worked EVER in the four months since my purchase. Even though I have been enrolled in Auto Pay since day 1, each month I get a notice about my payment and I have to log in and manually make a credit card payment. Then I call customer service and they tell me that I need to re-setup Auto Pay…which I do….and the next month…the same thing!
In August, I went through this stupid process again but this time, they took my payment TWICE. It was deducted twice from my bank and credited twice to my account at Conn’s. I called them to tell them that I didn’t authorize that payment and that I wanted them to put the other payment back. They assured me that it was an issue with their system and that they would be cancelling the first extra payment. THEY DIDN’T!!!! It cleared my account. Both of them.
I called AGAIN a week or so later and they told me that they were going to issue a refund. I wait another week or so and still no refund. Then, I called in AGAIN and they told me that they were issuing my refund and that it would take six weeks for it to process and get sent to me.
SO…after holding my money for three weeks without my permission, the only way that they can send me a refund is by check and it is going to take six weeks?!?!?! Are we living in 1990?!?!?! WFT?!!?!
I called their billing department and spoke with a manager named Zach. I doubt that is really his name but that’s the name he gave me. He may have been one of the RUDEST customer service people that I have ever dealt with. Not only did he do NOTHING to help me, he, and another lady at Conn’s proceeded to BLAME ME for the extra payment saying that I authorized it. THAT’S ABSURD!!! Why would someone make two payments that were timed stamped in the same second and the call and complain about it.
I don’t advise that anyone EVER do business with this company. They are rude, incompetent and don’t seem to care much about customer experience. If you need appliances or anything else for your home, you can do a lot better than having to deal with these CLOWNS!!!!
Don't do the warranty.....
I bought appliances from them 2/25/2022. Had the warranty and insurance on them. I canceled the insurance and 6/11/2022. Less then thier 30 day cancelation policy. Its now 9/6/2022 and they still haven't canceled it. I've sent Emails and made calls in August and trying to pay it off but the pay off is still with the over $1600 in insurance and warranty. Was on the phone with them today 9/6/2022 for 45 minutes and wanted to speak to a manager and after 15 minutes on hold I was told they will call me. Like they were saposto do the week before and last week. So I'm still sitting here waiting. The warranty department is the worst. All you can do is call customer service and they have to put in a ticket. There is no other way to speak to anyone to get this taken care off. Its been 6 months trying to get that canceled. They are the worst ever. I kept all emails to show when i started the cancelation and return documents.
Lost of a $1000 sale
I was prepared to purchase a $899.99 TV as well as prepared to pay the $100 delivery fee but then I was hit with a $15 gas fee. When Ii asked if the gas fee could be waived I was told no. So the manager lost a $1000 sales because of a $15 gas fee. Go figure

The NEW LG 77" OLED TV I bought was USED !!
The LG 77" OLED TV is wonderful. My problem is that a little over a month after we received the set, my wife was setting up Netflix and discovered that an account had already been set up on the TV for burnsy and family, which meant it was used/returned item. Their management team swore up and down that it was not possible that I was sold a used TV, that was represented as new. Conn's offered to exchange/re-ship a new TV at no cost to me. However the unit is not in stock and when it was in stock the delivery window was three weeks out. So who knew when the replacement TV would arrive or if I would be traveling when it finally arrived.
What I wanted was a partial refund or store credit. Their management team was so inflexible that either option was unacceptable to them. The TV is shipped in a huge box 5' X 8' and would be sent from Beaumont, Tx to a rural location in deep East Texas. Just imagine how expensive that would be ! I was trying to save them a little cash while making things right with my spouse. No wonder they have been in financial straights for years
