Parcel not delivered

Parcel not delivered. Delivery man claimed there was a hazard, there is no hazard. When I enquired with Australia Post as to why my parcel was taken to the post office 20 mins away they indicated the postie maybe didn't want to get off his bike as he was worried it might be taken. I do not know how the customer is being punished for clear issues with company logistics. Burdening the customer when the company has clearly failed to deliver on their contracted obligations is disgusting. If I could apply fewer stars I would.

Should be able to put a negative star.

Should be able to put a negative star.
Stayed home when I had to be somewhere else waiting for a parcel they messaged was being delivered and never turned up, then they have the cheek to ask my opinion about the delivery that never came.
Minus 10 stars from me.
Totally useless.

No longer will reattempt any delivery.

AusPost are notorious for not delivering your package. These days if it requires a signature they will walk up to your door, take a photo of your door then walk away without taking the package out of the van or knocking so you put in a request to reattempt the delivery. NOT ANYMORE! If delivery was "attempted", even when not really, they will completely refuse to reattempt the delivery. Absolute scammers.

They likely lost my package

They likely lost my package. There have been no updates or compensation so far. I hope the relevant authorities will intervene, regulate, and penalize them.

Customer service is non-existent

Did you know they can't (or won't) give out phone numbers for individual post offices? Even when that post office has rung you, to organise the redirection of a parcel? when i was trying to explain it to the customer 'service' person on the chat, she got very sarcastic then hung up. and the wait times on the phone were 30 mins +, and they hung up on me too. 1 star because there's no option for no stars.

You get what you don't pay for

Unless you pay to have EVERYTHING tracked, even basic letters get lost! Had an important but not urgent letter that was a no-show in the same state. Imagine how abysmal it would be for interstate letters. We can't afford the luxury of $10 tracked letters every time, and yet that's the cost for reliability. The more you pay, the more care is provided, it seems. When did Aus Post become so careless?

Bought an item on the Gold Coast

Bought an item on the Gold Coast.
It travelled to Brisbane overnight. Because of incorrect address it is being returned to sender. Australia Post advises that the return will take up to 10 days.

Lazy and pathetic!

Wish I could put 0 stars at this point!

This is not the first time but a delivery driver knocked on the door and then quickly ran off with the parcel and didn't bother to leave a card! My brother heard the knock and quickly headed to the front door but already the delivery driver sped off.

Lazy and pathetic. Meant to be the "biggest" and "best" delivery company, at this point I don't believe that for a second!

Reconsider sending high Value Items through Aus Post

I recently moved from NSW to QLD, and had to ship my Computer + all it's extras (monitors, keyboards, etc) through Australia Post as I can't drive.

I packaged everything in a way that it shouldn't get damaged as I used 2 large pillows to cushion and add extra protection for my Tower during shipping. I also made sure to put fragile tape on the box hoping it might minimise the damages.

Now, 2 weeks later I received my parcel, which looks like it was just thrown into a truck without much care for the contents inside. Computer, damaged, monitors both shattered. Wouldn't be surprised if the internals are also damaged beyond salvation.

The only saving grace is my decision to purchase the extra cover.

If you're considering sending high value items through Australia Post, put extra cushioning around the contents and pay for the extra cover.

I was looking forward to using my computer and catching up on all the things I couldn't do while it was being posted to my new residence, but it looks like that won't be happening anytime soon.

Need to improve customer service

Such a terrible experience with the customer service staff that was on the phone. Not only did the staff take ages to respond while keeping on hold multiple times, despite giving all the information asked. I understand that they might have needed more time but staff was extremely rude, that at some point I felt uncomfortable to seek support honestly cause the way the responses were given, it was extremely disrespectful and uncomfortable. I am speechless. This is my very first time writing a review anywhere online.

Subject: Ongoing Parcel Delivery Concerns

Subject: Ongoing Parcel Delivery Concerns

Today I received a parcel sent from Melbourne to Coffs Harbour, NSW, via Australia Post.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced issues with home delivery. On multiple occasions over the years, parcels have not been left in a safe place, and the doorbell has not been rung, even when I have been at home. Instead, tracking information has indicated that delivery was attempted but unsuccessful.

This recurring situation is frustrating and inconvenient, as it requires additional time and effort to collect parcels.

I would appreciate more consistent delivery practices in the future. If these issues continue, I may need to consider alternative delivery services where available.

Very bad delivery.

I can't believe it. My parcel with expensive perfume was left on the sun and practically on the street. Anyone can take it. Postman didn't even came to the door, did not ring the bell. I am in shock. I am sure my parcel required my signature. As always.
Looks like some workers have no idea what are they doing.
I never complained about Australia Post. But you can't provide service like that.

Such poor service

My parcel has sat in their facility for 6 days, hasn't moved. I can't put in a complaint or a "help find my parcel" for another 12 days! What is the point in paying for tracking when it doesn't move from your facility. Crap service!
