once again FedEX screws things up

once again FedEX screws things up, i have no idea how this company became as big as they are or how they are still in business. but their lack of organization is disgraceful.
this package couldn't make it 4 miles down the road to a holding location in 2 DAYS.
apparently it will be there tomorrow... lol it was at my front door two days ago but as i can't afford to take days off work to wait for your non existant arrival windows, i missed it.
Great work Fed Ex this is why i never ever send anything through your lackluster company!

2 packages said delivered at 11:08 am

2 packages said delivered at 11:08 am. It's now 3:29 pm and they have not been delivered. We have cameras at our residence and no one has been by on the cameras at all. I still cannot get someone on the phone with Fedex and they ended my chat twice for no reason.

Worst service

Worst service, waiting for last 3 days for my shipment delivery. They don’t come during their promise time. You have to be at home from 8.00am to 8.00pm and wait for their delivery man. They don’t care if you loose your job or wages.

I would give them a minus score if I could. I don’t understand how they can be a successful company..their delivery service is unbelievably bad. When I call they explain that delivery instructions on where to leave the packages are merely requests and drivers are not required to honor the requests. I am having food packages delivered every two weeks. My request is very simple: to walk down short driveway and leave on back patio. Well, the last package of food was left in front of building on the street sidewalk..totally unacceptable. I called the food company to see if they could use a different delivery service (UPS and Amazon have no problem with these directions) and was told they cannot. I am going to accept one more delivery. If fedex continues to leave packages on the street I will have to cancel with food company and find one that uses some other delivery service.

Poor Character representing the company

I'm currently a receptionist for a very successful oilfield company. After purchasing our products, our customers (major oilfield companies around the world) schedule their own shipping. One of our customers scheduled a pick up using FedEx. The gentleman that showed up was extremely impatient and inconsiderate. He had earbuds in one of his ears and his cell phone. Which he continued to view and only looked up to say that he was here to pick up something. The packing slip sent to us showed FedEx Express. It was attached to the box. However, our purchasing manager wanted to verify with our customer that the correct package was going out. A quick phone call to the company. The FedEx representative started mumbling and left. Our purchasing manager had to follow him outside to the company vehicle. He continued to ignore her. Keep in mind, he only had an earbud in one of his ears. Finally he decided to turn around and come back in the office. Our purchasing manager asked if he would mind waiting just a minute. He then said "Jesus Christ". A moment later...He took his first look at the package shipping labels and said "This ain't me, that's express. You need express". He finally just left with more mumbling and an attitude. He wasted more of his time and ours by just being rude. It is unfortunate that many good people are looking for a job and individuals like him are hired. I personally prefer UPS. Now we get to wait for another FedEx representative...

1 star flatters them

I placed an order from Health and Care which had to be delivered from Germany, estimated delivery time 2-3 days. The following day I received a text and link to tell me my package would be delivered on the same day. Highly impressed but at the same time suspicious I checked the link, which told me that delivery had been attempted but no one was around to take the package ( not true).
Rang FedEx who told me the link was wrong and they had located the parcel and it would be delivered in next one or two days. This didn't happen so checked the tracking again and from the history could see it had been delivered to newcastle that day (I live about 5 miles from Newcastle)' but then sent to Glasgow where surprise surprise no one was available to take delivery.
Rang FedEx again who after trying to claim that the trip to Scotland was some kind of clever delivery algorithm, eventually admitted a mistake and assured delivery the next day as the package was on its way back to Newcastle. On asking what would happen if I was not in to receive the package, I was told to write out instructions and stick to front door.
We will see what happens today

could not be worse if they tried

They actually sent me to pick up my package at 9 PM at a location that closed at 8 PM and then even though I could see people inside through the windows and the gates told me they "couldn't get in touch with anyone at the location" to help me. So I drove 30 minutes each way for nothing? And they refused to reattempt delivery. "The only thing" they could do was have me try to pick up the package the next day. Are you kidding me?
With no way to get in touch with each other and such horrible time management it's a miracle they're still in business.

FedEx is the absolute worst shipping…

FedEx is the absolute worst shipping company EVER! Every time I get a delivery from them they text me (not call) text me and say invalid address, which my home does in fact have a valid address. UPS and USPS do not have a problem locating my house and delivering items. This last experience I had today is why I will never use them again. I contacted them a week prior to make sure they knew where my home was located and they said it was in the system. My package was supposed to be delivered 4 days ago but got a text that it would be delayed until today (Monday). Today they send me another text saying my address is invalid and that my package wouldn't be delivered. So after being on the phone for an hour with 3 different representatives, I find out that my previous call sorting out the address confusion with them was never input into the computer or communicated with the drivers or warehouse reps. I then ask where my package is so I can get it myself and they responded the warehouse but that I couldn't pick it up due to company policy and they would try again tomorrow. What a load of crap, if you can avoid FedEx I would do so, horrible company and I have never received my packages on time and the customer service is awful.

Fed Ex has by far the worst delivery…

Fed Ex has by far the worst delivery system set up. I have not ever received a package on time from them. On top of that, their "track your package" system is the worst in the industry. My package was supposed to get here today, the last update I can see if that a label was made 3 days ago. I will give them credit for one thing, they are consistent. At least you know when using them to expect terrible service.

Having FedEx deliver a package just…

Having FedEx deliver a package just plain sucks when a signature is required.

Why do they have the option of scheduling a delivery after a certain time so I can be home if they don't even try to deliver it past that time?! My wife just left work early so she could be there for the delivery that I scheduled to happen after 3:30 PM. She had left work and was on her way home when I got a text that the delivery driver tried to deliver it at 2:33 PM.

So she wasted her time to find out FedEx didn't care to try and deliver it when someone can sign for it. And now FedEx will have to spend even more time tomorrow to deliver it again.

Come on, FedEx!

I’ve been waiting all day for my package. It seems I’ve been lied to. It appears I’m being ignored.

I’ve been waiting all day for my package that was schedule to arrive today. I was not able to do other things with my Saturday due to needing to be here when the package arrived.

It is now 8:39 PM. I was given verbal confirmation at 8:15 PM that the package would arrive today. I alerted the rep that I would be calling back in 10 minutes if I did not hear back from them. I believe they are now ignoring my phone call as I have been on hold for over 10 minutes.

2 Day Air shipment is a waste of money…

2 Day Air shipment is a waste of money for any service or business you use. The technical support is garbage. Attitude and fumbling with the phone as they put it down to ignore you so you can hang up. UPS is much better!

Received email and phonecall a package…

Received email and phonecall a package would arrive today and needed an adult signature. Tracking said it was on a vehicle for delivery at 0601 AM. It is now 8:26 PM and tracking said there is no update status. So I guess the driver decided not to deliver and I have been waiting for 14 hours for nothing. I just received two emails from Fedex saying they attempted a delivery yesterday 10/12/2019 at 4:32 P.M. and no one was home. This is not true and a lie!! My wife and I were both here as we said above and didn't go out to accomplish other important things while we waited for the package. In fact we have cameras outside our home that show there was no attempted delivery made at that time or any other time the entire day!!! This clearly speaks to how poorly the company is managed, how dishonest they are and that they can't be trusted with your packages.

Will NEVER use fedex again. Overnight shipping turns into 5day shipping! No point calling customer service as they are little to no help and not professional by any means, IF you can understand the person on the other end. Overall, TERRIBLE experience!

Absolute worst people to deal with! I've been waiting 3 days for an overnight package! Was told my package would be arriving 9am-3pm today, I left work early & still no package! Just for them to tell me to wait until the end of the day. They're very unpredictable & even more unprofessional. If I do online shopping at a store that works with fedex again I won't buy anything

Second attempt with delivery driver…

Second attempt with delivery driver never came to my house however noted in the computer that I was not here when I've been out in my lawn waiting for him since 8 am when the driver first attempted to deliver the package he never knocked on my door he stuck a sticker on my door and drove off I just want my package customer service 0 support

Rarely on time

From my experiences, add multiple days onto the tracking date as nothing arrives on time. Fed Ex stopped in front of my house this morning. Driver never exited his truck and drove away. Three hours later, todays delivery tracking changed to Tuesday.

I made a purchase through dell and they…

I made a purchase through dell and they used fedex as a service.

Starting this Monday, I received a notification that there was an attempt and I admittedly said I must have missed it because i fell asleep twelve minutes before the notification.

I work night shift by the way.

So I waited up Tuesday and stayed in the living room waiting for their attempt and once again received no doorbell ring or call. I know I couldn't have missed them.

On Wednesday, i put up a note with an attention to fedex to ring the bell. I even sat on the step outside with my daughters and waited. I received a a message on my phone saying an attempt was made and i had to look around because I didn't know flash worked for them for me to miss their truck pull up, a person to get out with my package and bypass me to make said attempt.

I called. They asked what sort of residence I had and I gave them the details. They said they will look into it.

Thursday, I received a message at 10:41 saying:

FedEx: Picked up, scheduled for delivery 10/11. Signature or signature release required. Reply HELP for help. STOP to cancel.

Then another 11 minutes later saying:
FedEx: Delivery attempt: 10/10/2019 Time 10:40AM. A final delivery attempt will be made on the next business day. Not going to be home? Tap link to see other options. Signature or signature release required. Reply HELP for help. STOP to cancel.

I was enraged that i have been staying up for an additional 4.5 hours [over 16 a day including coming from work] to receive such false messages.

Friday I waited again as they said it was the final attempt.

Took pictures hourly. And watched each carrier arrive. Even fedex! The man gotbout with two packages and deliver them across the street, hitting the doorbell and running away after leaving them on the step.

A gentlemen came out and tried to get his attention but by this point he was Back in the truck and I thought today was the day.

I'll get my package.

Next minute i receive the message an attempt was made as he pulled off. And I caught this moment in pictures.

I called again, enraged, amd they dared to offer another attempt on Saturday to which I replied "ive waited long enough" in short.

Now i drive an hour amd a half to fedex ground to pick up my package and their apology did not satisfy me.
