Applied fpr finance for me car and its been the easiest process ive been through.
All the staff are happy to help and there was no hassle what so ever. I wss drivin my car within two days after doin the process of fillin all the forms out.

AVOID!!

Carloans UK received money from a lender for my PCP car finance on 17th August, the day I applied.

On Friday the 21st the dealer contacted me to say Carloans UK would not release the funds to them until 1st September.

I then contacted carloans Uk and asked them why they wouldn’t release the funds and they told me: Their finance team works on an appointment only basis because they are only allowed to send a certain amount of payments per day and therefore, they were fully booked and could not fit me in until 1st September.

I advised Carloans UK that they didn’t explain that to me at any point in the process, that it made no sense that I had to wait for an appointment with them, when I was collecting my car from a independent dealer and had I known this, I wouldn’t of proceeded with their services.

I then contacted the lender who informed me they had never heard of a broker only being able to send a limited number of payments per day.

When looking in to it, their reasoning was completely fabricated. There is no such thing as a broker being limited to what they can send out.

I am within my 14 day cooling off period and therefore have a right to withdraw - but this wouldn’t be the case if I’d waited until 1st September.

This is extremely concerning and suspicious behaviour. Do not take out any finance arrangements with the support of this company. They are a walking red flag!!!

Update 28/08/26 - Carloans UK still haven’t processed my cancellation and still haven’t sent the money back to Zopa. I have been chasing this every day since I withdrew from the agreement on 22/08. I am getting nowhere. They keep telling me my case has been escalated to the financial director but that I cannot contact them myself. I was told they were doing a “payment run” yesterday and that they would let me know if the funds for my agreement would be sent back. I still haven’t heard a thing from them. They have acknowledged my request to cancel as you can see below but they are still holding on to money that was taken out in my name. Thankfully as I withdrew within my 14 day cooling off period it shouldn’t impact me financially.
Please please please read all reviews carefully before you consider using this broker to help you find a car. They are dodgy conmen who are only out to serve themselves. They do not care about the fact you could be held financially responsible for a vehicle you may never even get to drive. They are a joke! Steer clear
