Match Me Car Finance Reviews 

The cost of the car was £9,995. When I called the office from the dealership, they said everything has been verified and the funds would be transferred within 5 minutes.
30 minutes later £9,620 was transferred. Short by £375. Called the office again and they said they would transfer the short amount.
Another transfer was made of £280. Now it was £95 short.
More calls were made. Eventually they put me on to Darren who advised that I am suposed to pay that as part of the fees.
This was not correct. There were fees of £295 at the dealership which I paid. Match me now shorted the agreed amount and was now trying to get me to pay this on top of my fees. After over an hour of back and forth with matchme, and a lot of embarassment at the dealership. I just got tired of it all and paid the £95.
So even though the loan agreement and the signed contract was for £9995, Matchme short paid that amount and eventually paid a toal of £9990.

Really disappointing experience with Warren Singh. I received far too many calls despite explaining I was simply shopping around.

He told me I could only consider HP, not PCP, and when discussing refinancing my balloon payment, claimed that in his entire 10 years of experience he had never heard of this being possible. He then suggested the lender I was considering was misleading me, wished me luck and abruptly hung up.

The whole conversation felt more about securing a sale than helping me find the right finance.

Thankfully, CarFinance 247 were brilliant. They understood exactly what I needed and helped me find the right solution. A complete contrast in customer service!

Arranged finance through Match Me Car Finance for a 2025 Kia Niro PHEV (registration LD75VSN), funded via Startline Motor Finance. The transaction fell far short of transparent standards:
Concealed Commercial Taxi Provenance: The vehicle brokered had previously been registered and operated as a commercial private hire / taxi vehicle. Prior commercial use is material information under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and CTSI guidance, yet it was never disclosed during the application.

Unauthorized Add-On Financed: An unauthorized £449.00 "LifeShine" paint protection charge was bundled directly into the core borrowing before any customer agreement was signed.
Admitted Financial Detriment: The lender (Startline) has already conceded in writing that motor dealers will reduce trade offers on this vehicle due to its commercial history, yet Match Me set this up at full, clean retail valuation without proper provenance checks.
The agreement is now subject to formal legal pre-action protocol and regulatory dispute. If using Match Me, conduct your own independent council taxi licensing and HPI checks before signing any agreement they arrange.

I am very satisfied with the Match Me Service, as I received comprehensive guidance throughout the process and was provided with the necessary information to make an informed decision. I would like to extend my gratitude to Karl Walker for his professional conduct.
