I cannot recommend the working with the team enough to sell your business! I was trying to sell my business by myself on another listing site without much success - we got a bunch of unqualified leads and it was more of a distraction than anything. The Baton team took over all of the aspects of selling the business from putting together spot-on marketing materials to closing the deal. It was great because I got to focus on continuing to operate my company and talking to extremely qualified buyers that they sourced from anywhere they could… it felt like they were all personally committed to my success. We ended up with three offers, Baton supported on the negotiations, and then even hand-held the buyer to qualify for financing. Now I'm on to my next chapter in life!

I first tried to sell my business on my own and it was stressful to qualify prospects AND market the business + run daily operations. The professional help I needed was turning the sales process over to Baton to assess the ~100 prospects! and then keeping the communication between us timely and effective -whether it was as simple as calendaring talks with potential buyers or going deep into negotiations. I gave them a very short window of time to sell and I trusted their advice throughout the process (which is sometimes hard for people who run their own business!) They understood the added dynamic of being a franchise in an industry Baton hadn't worked in previously and together we managed it seamlessly.

I was on the buy side. Baton represented the seller. The fact that I'm writing a review for the seller's representation should be a sure sign of truly outstanding service. I look at a lot of CIMS and data rooms. Baton made the process super easy, the data was actually there!, and it was well organized! I know the bar is fairly low with many business brokers even on these basics but I was impressed. As my deal progressed, the communications were timely, pleasant and professional. Even with a couple of hiccups (and what deal doesn't have hiccups), Baton was there to keep the momentum. Color me impressed.

As a newer construction company, we've struggled to secure financing due to our limited financial history. Baton took a look at our financials, gave us an in-depth valuation of our business for free, and told us that we should be able to secure financing due to our monthly revenues. Through the "Grow" arm of their business, their Head of Partnerships Mark was able to connect us with some financial firms that he felt would be a good fit for our funding needs. We were able to quickly secure a $60k true LOC that now gives us some flexibility when managing our cash flow. I would highly recommend working with the Baton team. Everything from onboarding to the Valuation Report delivery to the partner connection was an incredibly smooth/insightful experience and I didn't have to pay anything for their service or time. Great business and great people.

I'd been an owner of a business for a few years when I realized I don't even know what my company was worth. After a quick Google search, I found out I was most likely going to have to pay $3,000-$5,000 to get a valuation. Then comes Baton. They shared they could provide a valuation, completed by an actual CFA at NO COST (no calculator spitting out a random figure). Onboarding was simple and seamless. 2 weeks later I was able to connect with Sam and we went over my results. As I was selling my business and looking for a valuation service, I was skeptical about using Baton because I didn't know anything about the company. They offered the free valuation so I wanted to know what the catch was. Actually, there is no catch or obligation after they give the free valuation! They make their money by plugging you into a network of other professionals that can help you build and sell. I could've used some help building the business a bit more to sell for a higher price but I was ready to get out sooner than later. I ended up using a lawyer from their network who did a great job drawing up the contract. All in all the business sold very smoothly and I'm happy with the sale price. Their valuation was accurate. Dylan on the Baton team was very helpful the whole time and communicative, but not overbearing. He was very open to, and actively sought, feedback which is a good foundation for a successful business. Honestly guys, there is no obligation here only opportunities. You can get the free valuation and walk away. For me, I was so appreciative of the free valuation (saving me a couple thousand dollars) and to be connected with a quality lawyer. Of course I could've hired a different lawyer through my own means, but this lawyer did a great job at a fair price. I love Baton's business model, it's very refreshing.

Baton really helped me understand what my business was worth and what I could improve to increase the value of my business. I co-own a small marketing and communications agency. We tried out Baton -- we probably want to sell the business eventually, but not yet. We were curious about our valuation today, though. I consider us pretty sophisticated business owners. We have owned P&Ls at Fortune 500 companies and led big teams in high-growth companies for years before starting our agency.
