I will not do business with this company again!
For my 5 star rating, read 0 stars, cos no option for 0 stars!
I’m still waiting for a promised refund of £45.00 from them, months down the line.
The car came with a 12 month mot and NO ADVISORIES, which I thought too good to be true.
However, when I checked with DVSA, the mot result was confirmed by them.
The car was delivered to my door, but when I first drove it, I realised something was wrong.
After getting it assessed by a mechanic, it cost me hundreds of pounds to replace two wheel bearings!
But that’s not what my promised refund was for, and I won’t even go into that, and if AUTOCONSULT CARS wishes to challenge my assertion that I was promised a refund of £45.00, they are welcome to do so.

Buying a second hand car always fills…
Buying a second hand car always fills me with trepidation. I happened upon AutoConsult as they were advertising a fairly rare Vauxhall Corsa 1.7CDI which I wanted to test drive. Visiting the 'Scarborough' branch [half way between Malton & Scarborough] is a pleasure in itself as the countryside is so lovely - a test drive through the Wintringham Estate - how delightful. Also very practical as you can test speed on the A64, handling, brakes, cornering, suspension etc on the hills to the south. Changed our minds and bought a Golf instead.
Can I mention the 'team' I had dealings with:
Jordan, Laura [love her accent!], Guy, Phil, Jay - all very professional and helpful.
Now, not everything went to plan, the term of the included Warranty was incorrect. But I try not to judge people by their mistakes - we all make them - but instead by their attitude and commitment to correcting them. Again, 5 stars here. Corrected Warranties emailed within hours.
Laura assisted our test drives, but even when 'off duty' was still happy to send & receive texts and phone calls - apart from parting with my cash AutoConsult made it a very pleasurable experience.
I don't need another car but almost with that I did. I know where I would be heading.. ..
