I purchased a car over the Bank Holiday weekend dealt with a really affable young man called Bryn Antrobus would highly recommend.

Avoid at all cost, terrible service sold me a car that developed numerous faults over a couple of days of buying it, then the car overheated, they then send out a mechanic that said he had sorted the problem with engine overheating only for the fault not to have actually been fixed, leaving all other faults un repaired I requested a refund within the 30 day timeframe then receive contact from the director to say that they won’t be accepting my right to reject the vehicle and now want to repair it after telling numerous lies between each other about the version of events currently looking to peruse a claim through the courts, absolutely outrageous service and feel all they are out there for is to fleece people out of hard earned cash and as long as they get it they couldn’t care less, i will pursue the issues I’m having if I need to and most certainly will not just roll over and let them rip me off

Have just taken delivery of my first car and James and the team at Newton-le- Willows have been excellent from start to finish. From responding to my initial query straight away and keeping me updated at every step the whole thing has been really straight forward and I am very much looking forward to using my new car.

These guys sold us a complete dud and they definitely knew it.
Within 2 weeks it needed to go to a garage, new clutch needed, £900. They absolutely refused to let us legally return it for a refund before 30 days. The warranty it came with might as well have been none existent. The 2015 Consumer Rights Act has made things ‘simpler’ for car buyers, or tried to. In the first 30 days of ownership, you now have the ‘right to reject an unsatisfactory car’ and are entitled to a full refund. These guys just fob you off till 30 days is up though.
We could have taken them to small claims and by rights got a refund under this 2015 act, but we know the courts are backed up after covid and it was evident that they knew how to drag their heels and ignore us so the process would take years.
They are very good at ignoring unhappy customers ill give them that.
Since then we serviced it, break pads completely gone, discs gone, tires worn past the legal limit.
Not only was it a complete dud, they also sold us a death trap.
Don’t give them your money. Absolute sharks.
The reply below, your company didn’t want to know when the issues were happening, why would we believe you want to help now.
We dealt with two gentlemen at the newton-le-willows branch and have since had to removed their names at the companies request due to trustpilot rules. This being at odds to the fact that these two gentlemen are mentioned in lots of other reviews.

Car was delivered with obvious faults, The Owner of the business, who’s name he has forced me to remove from this post so he can stay anonymous told me I had purchased a second hand car so it will have worn parts. His first name rimes with poo 💩 and his surname is what thatched roofs are made off. That all these issues where not present when the car was checked out by there mechanics, as required by the T&C of the one years warranty I purchased through them.
They where the perfect company when I was buying the car, could not have asked for better service. Once it was sold and delivered, didn't want to know and became increasingly difficult to contact.
The warranty company wont help, as the car was delivered with the faults.
I would say only buy if the car your purchasing is eligible for the Platinum Plus warranty offered. If its not, stay well clear.

I did call them, nothing. Would not pay to fix anything. BEWARE.

Car was as advertised, Sean was easy to deal and efficient which was exactly what I needed considering the price there.

I cannot recommend Huw and John enough the help these guys have given me after purchasing a VW Beetle which seemed to have a few mechanical issues plus a crazy mind of its own will never be forgotten. It was my choice to ask for the car to be repaired and after 4 months of them both going above and beyond each time I’ve settled for a full refund. They really did exhaust every avenue to help get the car repaired even offering me a courtesy car. Each time I contacted them sometimes very stressed they reassured me all will be fine, they both kept their word and sorted each issue out for me in a very reasonable timeframe. I can honestly say I have never had such a pleasant experience with car dealers before and I will definitely use this dealership again. Thanks for all your help guys it’s much appreciated Julia x

Very disappointed my son purchased his car a Vauxhall Astra from the Scarborough branch in September and we are still waiting for the log book which we have been promised has been processed on two different occasions.. after trying to ring them but couldn’t get through found out the Scarborough branch is now closed … I would love to hear back from you about how you are going to resolve this situation or better still if the director sees this would appreciate a phone call … would definitely not recommend.

Very easy process and very easy to deal with. The sales man Luke kept me fully in the loop during every stage of the process and arranged for the car to be ready ahead the initial date.

Nice dealership. Shaun was great and really welcoming. He helped us throughout the whole process and answered any questions we had. Unfortunately we couldn't go ahead with the deal, but it was a great experience nonetheless and I definitely recommend these guys.

Could not be happier honestly. I thought I would leave this review a few weeks, it's easier when you give these things time.
But James and Guy were absolutely brilliant, so honest and upfront. James was genuinely great, hilarious at times, but great.

The car, 57 plate BMW 3series at the price was a bargain. It's been a joy to drive.

I bought a car from the Oldham branch I saw it advertised on auto trader I was going to be in Oldham so called in to see it was told it was on its way from the Scarborough branch so I left a deposit and went back the day after for a test drive on the test drive I noticed a real load knocking noise they said it would be sorted before I took the car.on picking the car up a few days later driving home I heard the knocking again I took it to a garage and they said it needed a top mount and a new cv joint and boot cause the old one was split and had ruined the joint.i told the Oldham branch what it was and the next thing Steven close from the Scarborough branch rang and asked for a copy of the invoice and within minutes I was refunded for work I had done on the car STEVEN JAMES AND GUY where very helpful and a pleasure to do business with and I absolutely love my new car now its a citreon C3 airdream
