Had an Arro account now for a couple of months. Easy to set up and got the card very quick. They did place a block on my account once and asked me to explain transactions. To be fair I had paid a few bills by faster payment all in one morning. Once i provided details of the transactions they removed the block within around an hour and half. Faster payments generally go through fairly quickly sometimes it has been four hours but normally within an hour. It would be better the telephone lines wasn't just 9-5 other than that pretty good service.

AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE, this is probably the worst bank you will ever come across.
Telephone customer service is on an expensive 0844 number and if you do call them they will tell you they cannot help and you need to email in and that's after making you hold for nearly 10 minutes.
They just suspended my account for no reason and the first time you find out about it is when you try and use your card and you get declined. I have been using them full time for a month now and have been transferring money from my santander savings account to Arro and all in all I have paid in less than £600 and still they suspend my account.
It's not like I have been paying in large sums of money or using my card on gambling sites or something dodgy, just been using my card for everyday items like shopping and fuel and for some reason this and a few hundred pounds in my account is considered suspicious activity.
Do not go with this bank, if you do you do so at your own peril!
As for Arro Money, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves, how do you sleep at night??

The only problem I would say is that they need a free number to call on. 0844 is a nuisance.

Good business bank supplier.
I've been with Arro Money for quite some time now. I joined because my personal history isn't the best so it made for a great business solution while I rebuild my history. Admittedly, when they started - like any business- there were a few teething problems. But actually, as the company has grown and they've become more established the service is practically seamless. I was somewhat sceptic about using a company that isn't a high street bank but if they can convince a cynic like me then...well... what can I say? I would recommend to others. It's easy to set up, and easy to use.

Unsolicited debit card from fraudsters
Arro sent me a debit card I never applied for. This leads me to believe that either I was the subject of ID theft or they are an untrustworthy company utilising deceptive marketing tactics. I tried to contact them via their online form about this but the submit button is fake. So I went to their social media platforms, only to find out that they have disabled the messaging functions on both their Facebook and twitter accounts. So the only way to contact them is via their premium rate phone line. Also, looking at their numbers of followers vs user engagement on social media, it is obvious that they are buying likes from click farms and reviews from bots. Even here on TrustPilot you can see their paid reviews - 5 stars from generic names like 'Jack Jones', full of spelling mistakes. Scams like this ruin consumer confidence in an industry that needs it most.

Decided to use arro for gambling
Decided to use arro for gambling. As soon as I got my money from betfair my account was suspended. A big amount of money stucked there. If I won't get my money I will contact police and financial ombudsman. They are scammers!!!

Account was working fine , today I can’t log into my account as it is blocked ! With a large balance in my account and no way of accessing it I am furious !!!!!!
Do not put your money in an account with these scammers ! They will hold it and refuse to discuss it on the phone !
the email replies I have received are rude and not very informative. Even after sending the information they requested they are still holding my money !

Had an account 5 months now, never had an issue. Use the card mainly for spending money so I don't go over budget on the joint account. Were helpful when needed to change my fone number, payments take a bit longer then my other bank though.

So I opened this account as a way to use online and keep separate from my normal bank as they offer a virutal credit card. Haven't used it yet How ever last week I decided to use the account to get a payment of £96.00. Forward 2 days later. The funds has reached my account and guess what! Email saying account is suspended ! No help or advice on time frame. I event sent in proof of where the payment came from And how much for and what for and still my account is locked. What people are saying here is true you just get a generic email. No free number to call and even that wouldn't help as they state , they can't speak about it over the phone ! Like come on!. Do not use this company. I will wait until the end of today for my account to be restored and in the event it is not, I will be taking further action as this is not right. You can say your part of the fca but most companies do not act like this! Ideally I would like to pay the 5gbp fee and then take my money out and close the account. For me it's not mainly the suspension of the account but the lack of information and the lack of help that is given to resolve it. Once you have proof of what you questioned common sense would say it should no longer be questioned.

Arro is crap!!! Tried to transfer money over to another account of mine with a different bank last Thursday and it’s still not done yet! And they won’t help they are very moody on the phone. 8 emails later I am informed that all issues have been sorted and that I can finally transfer the remaining £1.35 from my soon-to-be closed arro account to my own Halifax Bank Account (2nd time I have been told this).
Quelle surprise!!!! Attempted to transfer MY money from MY arro account to MY Halifax Account for the 6th time. Guess what? Same error message appeared. 'Error in processing'. Must be very difficult transferring money from a person's account to another account held by that same person!!. 3 bloody days this has gone on for. I threatened arro with the FSCS, if i do not get my money I will be contacting them on Monday morning. The amount of money is irrelevant, it's my money and you tossers are not keeping it. PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF ARRO. USE U BANK OR ANOTHER FIRM, THIS LOT ARE ABSOLUTELY USELESS.

And I believe it's so wrong that you suspend accounts for investigation, I'm sure you can investigate while the account is still up and running and you can then suspend if you have a reason or at least be have decent and give enough notice that you will suspend the account to prevent this huge inconvenience and putting working people in such a horrible financial situations !!!!!!!!
