Wow I wish I looked up reviews before…

Wow I wish I looked up reviews before going with them what a joke of a company I had my account for 4 days and yesterday they stopped me using it apparently there reviewing it anyway today they have suspended it for no reason all money in the account over £100 will be getting sent back to the payees so left without money could take up to 10weeks so I can't get it sent anywhere else until work receive it back what a joke scammers rude and don't care about customers at all just closes your account all reviews with one star are right just think before u apply as u could be out shopping and your card one day won't work as it be under review no email call or txt to warn or tell you

suspended account for no reason.

Have had very few problems with account u till today. Cannot log in, cannot withdraw, cannot use debit card, contactless, online. No way of getting in touch as they are closed ar weekend. Has left me almost getting arrested for not being able to pay for my taxi as couldn't withdraw cash. No shopping, no gas. I'm partially disabled and classed as vulnerable which all banks/financial institutes have a duty of care. I'm completely left in termoil. Will be contacting fca, Financial ombudsman, wirecard etc as worked in the industry for over 9 years and am well aware of all my rights.

Update***

Have sent me an email staring they need to verity my identity. Strange as they did this electronically when I opened the account over 8 months ago. Non the less I have sent required passport via email as requested, yet they are closed over the weekend!!!! Funny how they can suspend an account when they're closed but not reactivate it. Also clearly states in there terms and conditions that they only ask for id it they cannot verity electronically when account is OPENED. also states they cannot suspend the account before giving written notice. Have forwarded everything to FCA, FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN,WIRECARD.

Omg dout use this company

They have closedmy account because I wanted to update my new phone number on my account saying its against terms and conditions.
I have my universal credit in there for my children and now they say the money cant be used till they return it which takes 10 weeks.
10 weeks its my money not yours surly they cant do that I have children that need feeding .
I dont know what to do this is a scam surly .
Horrible horrible company im contacting watchdog or someone similar they are not holding my money for 10 weeks .this company needs to be closed down

No option to cancel or close the account online. Complete rip off and payments are very slow.

Payments are processed throughout the day, and times are also affected by when the receiving account processes their payments in, if you are sending money to another e-money account this will increase the payment times.

I am sick of constantly getting ripped…

I am sick of constantly getting ripped off by Arro. This is the 4th time this has happened. I had my girlfriend transfer £60 into my account which had £7 inside. I withdrew £30 only. To my greatest surprise I opened my account and saw 0.16 pence left. I've tracked every payment and fees because I know the do a form of assessment of accounts every 2 weeks and I'm owing nothing. I'm here with no electricity because I've been robbed of my money by arro. I used the account for my salary. Unless all the money is returned to me, not only will I be taking this further but I will also be closing my account with them. No one should trust them. They are scammers!!!

It's now 21:43 the 26tg of January 2019. I just received an email from them after posting this review, stating as follows "Hi Emeka,

Our processor is experiencing a recurring issue that may have an impact on the usage of your card. The team is already working on actions to ensure minimum disruption to the service.

 

We apologise if this may cause any inconvenience to you, and we will update you as soon as normal service is resumed.

I will update everyone one here if they successfully pay me back all the funds that suddenly left my account, including the 37 pounds I should have left in my account. Without giving me any silly excuse so as to cover such act. I'm still sat in my living room in darkness because I have no money to top up my electricity.

27th Jan 2019.

Received yet another email shortly after I updated my review stating that the issue was resolved. I then checked my balance and still showing up as 16 pence. Still not had my money back. I will now have to inform the financial ombudsmen. Can fight this battle alone. They are simply there to rip hard working citizens off. This should not be allowed to happen. This company must shut down. I will also be starting a campaign to get the awareness out there regarding this fraudulent company and that it must be closed.

Really bad nothing is explained…

Really bad nothing is explained properly about limits and no way to tell. The customer service is very poor and the opening times help no one at all.

Faster payments take longer than 4 hours most time

Our Customer Support lines are open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to take your calls, you can also contact us through our website 'Need Help?' section, where the team will be able to respond to your query during our opening hours, we are looking at extending these in the future. Faster Payments are processed through our systems within four hours, depending on when the receiving account processes the payment their end, this can take longer at times.

I just waiting for start to use the Direct Debit. And Arro Apple.

I just waiting for the Direct Debit. Cause I think at the moment I can't use the direct debit every month on my account from direct debit for my tax car and my car ensurance, Pure Gym. And I waiting for the Arro App. Thanks.

Unsolicited cardscam

I received an unsolicited card with my name printed on the mastercard/ debit card. They charge premium rate telephone charges if you call to then be advised to send more personal information.
Looks like a fraud/ scam to me.
I advised my banks fraud department to not accept any instructions and am covered by their guarentee. I have cut the card up so it cant be used. Hopefully this is an end to it

As easy as A B C

I was recommended Arro by one of my friend. I went online and tried to open my account with Arro and it hardly took me more than 3 minutes and I was done. I did not need make any appointment or seeing bank manager to have my account opened. I got email confirmation straight away about my account details and a text as well about my virtual card . My card is on its way.

Highly recommend it.

Best bank

As an international student it was a hassle opening just a current account with the highstreet banks. My friend recommended me Arro. All I can say: Arro is a life-saver for students around the globe! Opening an account was so much easier, just in 2 mins I got my account and could use my card straightaway. Very simple and fast application process, friendly customer service. Highly recommended.

One of my friend recommend me about this bank. It is a great bank.
