What is the value of an Authorized Partner if Ajax takes no responsibility?
I am extremely disappointed with Ajax Systems and how they treat customers who place their trust in the company’s official Authorized Partner network.
I purchased an Ajax security system worth many thousands from a company listed as an Authorized Partner on Ajax’s own official website.
Let me be absolutely clear: The ONLY reason I trusted this retailer and proceeded with the purchase was because Ajax themselves had listed the company on their official Where to Buy page.
Unfortunately, I never received the products I paid for. The retailer stopped responding, and I was left without my security system or a refund.
Naturally, I contacted Ajax, expecting a company of their size and reputation to take the situation seriously.
Ajax confirmed that the retailer had indeed been an Authorized Partner. They investigated the situation and eventually removed the company from their website.
However, when I asked whether Ajax could offer any goodwill assistance, even something as simple as helping me obtain the products I had already paid for through another authorized partner, they refused to offer any practical assistance.
What is the point of promoting businesses as Authorized Partners on your official website if customers cannot place any additional trust in those businesses?
Surely, when a manufacturer publicly endorses a retailer through an official partner program, customers should reasonably expect that some level of due diligence has been performed.
I did not choose this retailer randomly. I chose them specifically because Ajax presented them as an Authorized Partner.
Ajax removed the retailer from its website, which may protect future customers. But what about the customers who have already suffered financial losses because they trusted Ajax’s official partner network?
I never expected Ajax to automatically assume legal responsibility for every independent retailer. However, I did expect a company that promotes its own Authorized Partner network to demonstrate a greater sense of responsibility when that trust leads to a customer losing money.
Instead, I was effectively told that the transaction was not their responsibility and that there was nothing they could do.
An Authorized Partner badge should mean something. Otherwise, what is its purpose?
My advice to anyone considering Ajax: Be aware that purchasing through a retailer listed on Ajax’s official website as an Authorized Partner does not necessarily mean Ajax will help you if something goes seriously wrong.
A company’s reputation is not only built on the quality of its products, but also on how it treats customers when things go wrong.

Dust in the chamber resolved
I had an issue with dust in the chamber of a FireProtect2.
I sent support the logs and a screenshot and quickly got a response back with detailed instructions as to how to resolve it.
Opening and dismantling the device showed me the quality build.
And I resolved the error.
