Actually if there was a place to check -100 I would have done that. This is a real buyer beware situation. The insurance coverage is a scam, as I personally had my unit broken into and resulted in no compensation. THESE PEOPLE STOLE MY LIFE MEMORIES. HOW MUCH WORSE CAN THAT BE ??? Its all about the almighty dollar and no consideration for the human condition. 190 Carrier Drive.... Stay afar away as possible.
This storage is a rip off they keep upping the price for no reason we got this storage on January 31 which is suppose to be free for a month why have we payed over three thousand and the keep charging more and more. They make it hard to keep up. This is ridiculous. Ripping people off for two storages
Marcelle was very helpful. She took the time to show me my options and wanted to make sure that I got the right size for my needs.
In all my years, I have never met such beautiful, kind, patient, caring souls then I met at North bay's Access Storage. My son and I went through horrific harassment and violence for a year and needed to store our stuff immediately after having to move into a motel through the crisis center, which they accommodated without question. Over the 9 months we were there, I was late on several occasions just trying to make money, save money, find my son a home, and still keep up with all my bills. Every single time, they were patient, understanding, and willing to work with me at any lengths. This world has become an incredibly difficult place to live in. Even for someone without trauma. There's so much trauma, anger, resentment, which causes people to be unkind, but in all my time there I never witnessed anyone have a bad day, and even if they did, they certainly did not show it to their customers. They always showed kindness, respect, and professionalism. I will be forever grateful to them all. It was just one less thing I needed to worry about with all we were going through. I will be forever grateful to them ALL 💝🙏
Access Storage is a greedy corporation that comes into an area and buys all their competition and then constantly raises rental rates for no reason. They do not value or respect long term renters but punish them, and in turn reward short term unknowns with upfront first month free. I would not recommend Access Storage to my worst enemy.
Insurance service is a scam there, rent a unit . Everything got flooded haven’t heard about the claim yet . No one is answering the phone or the voicemail
"I recently worked with Sheela to book storage, and I was thoroughly impressed with her service. She was professional, efficient, and attentive to my needs. She provided clear information about the storage options available and guided me through the booking process seamlessly. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to answer all my questions made the experience stress-free. I would highly recommend Sheela for anyone looking for reliable storage solutions."
Brett/Brent, I can't remember his name, was really awesome and helped us with our short term storage needs. We loved the convenience of this Gibson street location in North bay, and we are very happy with our experience.
Access/Storage Vault Canada purchased up the storage facility I have been in for many years, immediately afterwards they started to increase my rental fees by almost 10% & at twice a year. The management system in place will not negotiate their increases at all. Upper management will completely ignore the tenant if the tenant reaches out for aid & not lend any assistance to the tenant. This company works on a pyramid basis where the tenant is completely shut off from upper management & is only allowed communication with the site managers. My personal advice is to not get involved with the company at all if you can. Need a storage unit, look elsewhere for better personal treatment & customer service.
Storage is clean, safe and convenient storage all supported with personable and knowledgeable customer service.... I have to thank Sienna and Bharti for being so efficient in accommodating my storage needs. Your professionalism and kindness is rare.
I’m renting a spot at Higgins here in Winnipeg. There is supposed to be access to your storage units seven days a week. I went there yesterday, midday, with a rental truck to pick up some of my property. And the facility was shut down. There was actually yellow tape Across the garage door and the intercom system was covered with a piece of paper saying that they were closed. I would have appreciated an email notification as to this closure as I have wasted money on a rental truck and had to pay my workers for their time.
the location is not responding to my complaint email
Beware went in to cancel my unit as I was told I could when I rented the unit. Was told that I could not be reimbursed because I prepaid with my credit card. The friendly lady smirked and said in the fine print it states that if you prepay you cannot be reimbursed. I told her that the reason I prepaid was to avoid any late charges which she recommended to me when I signed up.
I told them that I did not need the unit and would liked to be reimbursed for the 20 days early I was leaving. She smirked and again said I should read the fin3 print.
Do deal with this location they are not willing to work with there clients what a shame!
At this point, I wish there was a 0-5 rating options for these things.
I made a reservation over the phone in late spring. The customer service agent all but berated me into making the payment to 'hold the unit'. I made the deposit and was told I could cancel and get a refund. Couple days later, I cancelled it over the phone and was told it would take a few (3-5 business) days to process my refund. I called a week later and was told the request to process my refund had not been put through at the storage location and that it would take 3-4 WEEKS to process the request. How does a company go from a few DAYS to A MONTH to do the exact same thing? This isn't an insurance claim.
I called back three times, two weeks later, and NEVER got anyone at the location. Each time I called the main company line, they would 'put me through' to someone at the office or take a message, but I wouldn't hear back from anyone.
I called, wrote an email, and called some more. EIGHT WEEKS it took to refund my deposit. The ONLY organization that has that kind of leeway is the government, regardless of level. This is not the government; this is a STORAGE company. Customers shouldn't have to keep calling and calling, much less call the main line, only to be told that the refund has to be processed through the office you aren't using anymore. Never heard of such NONSENSE in my life!
WORST experience with customer service I've had all year. Having worked in customer service (call center), I understand what it takes make a caller happy. THIS! THIS is not proper customer service. 10 calls and two emails later is what it took to get this money back.
I wouldn't recommend this company to store a box of
blank dollar store printing PAPER much less anything you actual need or care about. Disgraceful!
Office staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean facility. Recommend to my family and friends!
Eva's customer service skills are excellent. Thorough and highly efficient in providing information.
When I met with the Assistant in Access Storage in Hemel hemstead. I said I wanted Storage for 6/7 week and if I want to remove my house hold items I would be refunded any week not used. I called up this morning to inform them I spoke with Steve and he said that I had to give a week notice to move out. So I said we'll it's a week from today. When I hired a van to remove my stuff I said to the guy at the Reception desk that I would be taking my stuff today and wanted 1 week refunded as I was told this the first day. Hs said that I would not get any refund as I have only 1 week left I put my points across but didn't listen. I continued to remove my stuff from the lock up which is on the second floor. It was obvious that I was removing my belonging and when I came down and out of the lift 1 of the access roller doors were closed. I continued to remove my stuff. When I went out to fill the van He closed the second roller Shutters on me and I was not finished removing my stuff. I pressed the Intercom to get the Shutters open and No reply trident 3/4 times and no reply so I went back to the reception and asked for the Shutters to be opened as I was not finished. I spoke with the Steve who I had spoken to in the morning time and I told him that I was told that I would get a refund for any week not used. He said that I was not getting any refund. And I put my points across I said to open the Shutters as I was not finished. So I continued to remove my stuff.
When the assistant came out of the reception I confronted him on how rude it was to closed the Shutters on a customer who was obviously trying to get my belongings removed I said it was very rude to come the Shutters. The obviously wanted me to go in the office to speak with them.
Terrible customer service and I would not even use access storage again or recommend them. I will be contacting the area manager to complain about it. I am still a customer until next week but never again I will use Access storage Hemel Hempstead
I was informed that I would be charged nothing for a period of 4 weeks plus 1 week, totaling 28 days ("free" but with an admin charge) plus 7 days. However, despite notifying them two weeks in advance, they ended up charging for 8 weeks. The store manager, Pam from 6050 diefenbaker avenue,
Regina acknowledged receiving the email but still refused to refund the money. She was the one who instructed me to reply to the invoice email to remind them about the conversation I had with the customer representative and herself.
I am disappointed to hear the word I CAN'T from management. They can't help me, they can't. I made a payment on line through Access Storage website. I received confirmation that it was successful. 2 weeks later I have a late fee and a NSF. I called my bank, they said it was not their fault. I called Access storage they said it was not their fault. I am very upset that I HAVE TO PAY an additional $51.50.
Nothing they were willing to do to work with me, just the words they can't and it was not their fault.
Disappointed
As I was walking into the building yesterday, I saw a mouse run into another unit . When I went into my unit, there was mouse droppings everywhere! I did tell the office staff and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. I have 1000's of dollars of my business stuff in there and now I have go through it all to make sure they haven't eaten through any of it.

because of the invalid email im responding here to everyone can see that im trying to reach out to them but their email comes back invalid .where to start from my unit being broken into filed police report gave a copy to the office along with missing list of items to the office manager came down looked at my unit showed him where they got in. i didnt even get a apology or compensation for i,t i had insurance on my unit and i didn't even hear from the insurance company to settle this matter to add salt to injury i also showed the manager all the mouse feces's .. this is just one month into being in the unit ... fast forward one year and half i moved out only to find dead rats yes you read right rats not mice in my unit all my appliances linens had to be tossed they were covered in poop. at 375.00 a month i sure would expect much better service from you , with all this being said this is truly unhygienic and disgusting and very expensive to replace. At you advertise a clean facility with 24/7 surveillance so why is there rats and the thieves never caught ? Access storage you failed under your standards ? no compensation was ever offered to me or a apology
