Quality food, excellent service

Simple ordering process, fast dispatch and delivery. This is the only food that my dogs sensitive stomach can tolerate and it is a brand that I trust. Expensive in comparison to other brands but quality and trust equalises that for me.

Easy ordering process

Easy ordering process, very fast dispatch and great price. Only disappointment was that DPD didn't attempt to deliver (had received the tracking info and they were just a few streets away - so I was hovering and waiting for them), they simply sent a text message saying that I would need to collect from local pick up point, due to missing my delivery. I had even nominated a safe place. I can confirm 100% that DPD didn't attempt delivery. My experience with Currys was great, just wasn't impressed with DPD - not Currys fault at all.

Shocking Quality - they don't even match!

Received order of originals ankle boots and they are shocking! Same size boot but one is wider and a different shape with a different finish, and also has the central logo misplaced. Absolutely no idea how they got through quality control! I bought them to replace a previous pair that began leaking after 13 months (just out of warranty and the durability didn't reflect the price but I'm aware that quality standards are not up to what muck boots used to be years ago). Strongly considered purchasing a different brand but as they all seem to be manufactured in the same place, I didn't think I would find better durability elsewhere. I didn't expect to receive a completely different left and right foot! I am now awaiting a reply to my email for returns info because muck boots state that the customer will be responsible for return costs of faulty items without prior contact with them. Their automated email response advises long wait times for a reply so I suspect that a refund will be long and drawn out. Expected more from such a big company that details it's values of quality etc.

The easiest extraction I have ever had.

Attended for an extraction under sedation - I am an extremely anxious patient and the extraction had potential to be complex. I have never had sedation before and this added to my fears. I was in safe hands with Ganesh and his team. Special thanks go to Chrissie (I hope I have remembered the name correctly) for holding my hand and all her reassurance. I remember very little about the procedure but I do recall it being pain free. Early days of my recovery but I still remain pain free and feeling very grateful for being looked after by a great team.

Poor customer satisfaction


In a Google review, I advised that I can no longer sign into the app since the update on Tuesday 21/01/24 - The update logged me out and wouldn't accept my log in details to log back in. Now it's asking to verify my details with my phone number, but won't accept my phone number because 'the number is already associated with the account'! Asda store assistant advised that others are affected. The update has clearly caused a glitch. Can you resolve this please Asda?

I have contacted the support team by phone as advised and they have advised that this can only be resolved by the tech team - who endeavour to respond within 5-7 working days.
In the meantime, the app/rewards are inaccessible and I should retain any receipts to take to customer services when resolved.
Asda, this update glitch is causing unnecessary inconvenience to the customer. The customer service desk in our local store is a time consuming process because you have to queue in the same queue as the tobacco/lottery/ newspapers etc. there is often only one assistant covering the whole area. The assistants on the desk have already advised that the app is a seperate entity to them and they cannot help with app enquiries.
As a customer that spends thousands of pounds every year in your store, it isn't acceptable that you cannot resolve your own error in a timely fashion.
Along with likely many others, the rewards system is the only reason we continue to shop here. Staff availability has decreased to invisibility, stock is hit & miss every week and it is rare to find a manned till. Without the rewards system, we will transfer our custom elsewhere.
Presumably due to cost cutting, the customer experience at Asda has seriously declined over the last few years. The staff who used to be 'happy to help' are now in the main visibly unhappy in their roles. Prices have increased beyond belief and the customer service has declined in immeasurable amounts.
I have submitted a formal complaint and I am looking for a swift resolution.

Errors rectified

I have had my faith restored in Chorley Specsavers after both Riz and Sarah went above and beyond to rectify a catalogue of errors. Had this review request been requested earlier, my review would read very differently due to a catalogue of errors, including prescription strength. They did solve the problems though and I am satisfied with the end result.

Spoke to the team via online chat in advance of delivery and they were very polite & helpful. Driver rang to give an estimated ETA and arrived on time. Offered to deliver product to the room of our choice/upstairs - wasn't needed but nice to have the option. Very happy with the service throughout.
