DWP make it too hard

I have tried in the past to find out if I could claim anything after i was divorced (age 40) & had both of my son's living with me. DWPmake it too complicated but this form was really easy. Fingers crossed 🤞 I do have a projected state pension increase on 6th April '26 - I think this is for everyone not just me.

I am 76 & have been taking suppliment…

I am 76 & have been taking suppliment to help with various ailment's. I started buying online when a friend told me about Geeks - I feel confident that they are honest about their product ingredients & I do notice the arthritic symptons have improved especially in my hands. My nails are amazing with Biotin Growth, however my hair hasn't improved after 6 months ! I fear I will be s bald old lady haha. Overall, I think the prices are fair, especially when they have special offers. Delivery is very quick.

I have been on a two year journey with…

I have been on a two year journey with CES & have just completed by having a Battery installed by them. The engineer they sent was outstanding. He spent time explaining everything till my old brain understood. Unfortunately, he was supposed to download the APP, so I could see the benefit, however CES hadn't checked if I had an iPhone & how old it was. I have upgraded the phone but now have to wait for the download until CES do a follow up inspection. Also, the communication was not as good as it was in the past. On advice from the engineer I have switched energy supplier to 'Octopus' - I could have done it earlier had I known.. However, I am a happy customer & awaiting the sun to shine & make me some money

I was anxious about switching & any IT I may not know how to do but Temi was very clear & helpful & lead me through the process & did it all over the phone. Us 'oldies' prefer the spoken word.
She explained the next steps & helped me set up an online account & password. Thank you.
Phew, what a relief - unfortunately Eon Next is charging me £60 to leave them.

I have stayed with Saga for a long…

I have stayed with Saga for a long time. It is certainly not the cheapest, but many years ago I was in an accident & they were brilliant & I have been with them ever since. However, I recently wanted to change my named driver & the agent was unsure about it & initially told me I couldn't . When I told him I had done it before without any problems he put me on hold & eventually told me I could but he was unsure & not confident so it took ages to complete. He also asked me to renew now but I declined as it was a month beforehand.1

I used Honey for my Will & LPA's & was…

I used Honey for my Will & LPA's & was very happy with their service, but I had seen clips on social media about Living, Lifetime & Property Trusts. What I saw led me to believe that ones beneficiary's could avoid Probate... However, Chetan Unalkat explained all the Trust options, slowly & in language I could understand & followed up with an email of notes to remind me of the details - so when I explain it to my sons I have a reference to follow. It's like the relief you feel when you find a good reliable tradesman - you never bother going anywhere else...

I don't buy a lot of wine but I treat myself to to 6 bottles for £36 from Laithwaites every now & again. I am never disappointed in the wines I receive. Their service cannot be faulted & the delivery is in about two days.
Also if you recommend a friend, & they order, they get a £40 discount off a case & I get £40 off my next case - win win !

Shame it wasn't the windfall I wanted but I am happy.

Excellent Customer Care Skills.

I had an old Rolex that stopped working years ago & has just been in a drawer. I am now elderly & in need of spare cash.
I Googled lots of people who buy old Rolex's but no body was interested because it was likely going to need a lot of work ( expensive ) to restore it to its former glory.
However, the lovely Nadya at BQ was so kind & helpful & after they had inspected it made me an offer I was very happy with.

I ordered a couple of items & afterwards I got an email saying I would get £5 off my next order. I emailed to ask if they could apply it to the order I had just placed. Amazingly they said yes - I was overjoyed as I am as poor as a church mouse. That is what I call great service.

I have had my Solar & heat pump for 1…

I have had my Solar & heat pump for 1 yr & 8 months now & could not be happier with my system. It is so efficient ( I know because I watch my smart meter! ) I could never have afforded all the work CES did for me. I am 75 & live off a state pension so to have all this makes me feel so secure when I think of the onslaught of the winter weather ahead.
Today I had a call from CES to check that everything was working well & if there was any problems that needed help with. I love it that they give such ongoing service & they made sure I had their contact details incase I need them. In this day & age it is so reassuring to know they are just a call away & a visit from their engineer is covered by my guarantee.
If you are considering upgrading your system I can't recommend them enough. If you live in Devon get in touch & I will show you how wonderful it is. Don't hesitate if you are considering - go for it....

Two weeks ago I ordered 3 items

Two weeks ago I ordered 3 items, £104.65. Because I haven't had any communication since I emailed them & Facebook messaged them to find an ETA for my goods. After many emails back & forward they said they would ask customer service to dispatch the goods as soon as possible. I emailed again sayin if they haven't dispatched yet how long will it take & which country will they be coming from? They then replied that two of the items were out of stock & they would refund me for those - I said refund the whole amount as I am now not interested. I am now worried I will not get the funds refunded !!! They also asked me to decribe the item ??? Uh hello they should Know that !

On day one of NO internet the person I spoke with offered no advice or help as his system was down & told me to phone tomorrow, Grrr. However, on day 2 I ad a brilliant female who diagnosed my problem & haad a new power cable sent & Eureka instant internet, brilliant.
