Had a cheque that I had banked but the app said it had not completed.
I paid it into another bank and 2 days later it bounced.
Contacted FD to ask how this had happened and the fact that I faced a charge of £20 because the cheque had in fact been cleared by FD even though it said it hadn't.
Customer service promptly refunded the charge of £20 and made a further acceptable gesture.
Excellent overall service.
