I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. Three items totaling approximately ₹400 were missing from my order. When I contacted customer support, they failed to offer a resolution, denied my request to transfer the call to the escalation team, incredibly disappointing experience.
I strongly suggest others switch to Swiggy—it is much better than Zomato.

Worst service and worst customer care. They don’t provide any justice to the customers to whose delivery parcels are missed even they had evidence. Very bad delivery persons.
Do not pay deposit for a restaurant booking through Zomato
I was charged a ₹1,500 reservation deposit through Zomato, but when I arrived at the restaurant, they had no record of the booking and would not honour the deposit. As a result, I was left out of pocket despite doing everything correctly from my side.
What has been even more frustrating is Zomato’s customer support. I have spent over three separate one-hour chat sessions trying to resolve this issue. Each time, I am passed around, given no clear answer, and no refund is processed. The conversations seem to drag on endlessly until customers simply give up.
A booking platform should take responsibility when a reservation made through its system fails. Charging customers upfront and then refusing to provide a timely resolution or refund is unacceptable.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious when paying reservation deposits through Zomato until they improve their booking reliability and customer support.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. I worried about $20 worth of food and I waited in front of the hotel and the driver never came. The driver reported that he waited 40 minutes and then he tried to call. None of this was true. And when I tried to resolve it, they said sorry it was my fault because I don't know actually. But it's never resolved and they just took ₹1800 from me. I deleted the app and I lost the money

Zomato has become a scam nowadays, yesterday I received incorrect order from a restaurant and even in the past as well, I raised a ticket to zomato support and they asked me to click the picture and when I did they asked me to mail to zomato and when I did they didn't even revert me and in the past some items were missing but still zomato didn't response, Swiggy is so much better when it comes to services and support

Zomato is a big scam platform . Ii ordered one item for my daughter on special occasion. Not delivered perticular item nor refunded . No refund from zomato . Delever boy liar and customer care also .order no is #8117012237. Zomato don't deserve to do buisness . I m badly disappointed. No response proper from customer care . They making fool .only my mob no was not working but address was correct . They hurt me lot . Money doesn't matter. But trust shattered. Zomato do have little shame .

They don't care about customers, chat bots provide standard reply. There was an issue with my order, they said that they would call and resolve within 30 mins, now it's more than 3 days. I now removed Zomato & Blinkir apps from my phone. Happy with Swiggy and will continue

Zomato cancelled our order without any valid reason, but still deducted the full amount. Initially, we were told support team even also not Respond Even though asking for the refund it is not saying anything for me lies on me only I never see this like company. worst service to provider to the customer . fraud company didn't trust like this company.
It is absolutely unacceptable and dishonest. Will not be using Zomato again and strongly advise others to be cautious.

Terrible support system
Terrible support system. My order was delayed by over 30 minutes I contacted customer care while tracking the rider, but the chat agent offered absolutely no helpful updates or compensation. They just gave scripted responses and told me to keep waiting. Zomato has completely stopped prioritizing customer satisfaction

They are horrible. They loot you and have good connection with restaurants. They take your money and then ask restaurant to send you stale food. Their customer care is literate and have no knowledge about how to resolve issues.

Worst service ever. I ordered idli but received tea instead, after waiting for 2 hours. There was no proper resolution and no option to contact Zomato customer support directly. The bot only asked me to send an email, and even that email address was invalid. Absolutely no customer service. Everyone should delete the Zomato app — this deserves zero stars.

My Zomato order was delayed by 26 mins with Zomato blaming the restaurant and the restaurant blaming the delivery partner. On top of it, there was zero refund for cancellation. There were no time restirctions mentioned on the app
We had a very disappointing experience at the restaurant during our corporate dinner party. We were unexpectedly asked to vacate the table within two hours, despite there being no prior communication regarding any time restriction at the time of booking — neither on the app nor during the confirmation call.
Such important terms should be clearly communicated to customers in advance, especially for corporate gatherings and planned events. The way the situation was handled felt unprofessional and left our entire group embarrassed and dissatisfied.
What was even more disappointing was the complete lack of apology from the staff and no effort made to compensate for the inconvenience, whether through a gesture of goodwill or even a small discount.
Unfortunately, this experience has significantly affected our perception of the restaurant and its hospitality standards.
