Ridiculous procedure to cancel premium …

Ridiculous procedure to cancel premium membership. Don't bother to start and go right away to LinkedIn. They charge as well (too) much but at least invest a lot in their service and are a real social network for pros and not only an expensive profile...

I cancelled my Premium / Pro Jobs …

I cancelled my Premium / Pro Jobs Membership a year ago and Xing said that I have to pay and stay in the program for the next 12 months. Which i did. And now, once the 12 months expired and I was supposed to go back to my "basic" membership status, not only they ignore my cancellation but also they summon me to pay a total of 208 EUR by 9 the of January. Or else what?

Awful

Awful. Unethical company. Once I subscribed for Premium on some acceptable conditions (comparable to the Linkedin Premium price). And after a year I suddenly was charged for almost $500. $343 out of that was for the service I even didn't request and never used. (Although the customer service says I subscribed to it. The unwanted useless 343$ service was first added By XING automatically as a free offer, without notifying me of the future enormous price of the service, and I "agreed" to it by not canceling IT).
Why the hell such companies even exist? Companies where generating revenues is done by cheating, by misleading customers? XING, have you ever thought about growing your revenues by providing real, useful services, not being scams?
I'll do my best to spread my knowledge about this company for the sake of humanity.

Terrible

Terrible, unethical firm. Everything stated in the previous reviews regarding automatic renewals, horrendous customer service (I tried to cancel three times - they finally responded when I blocked them on my credit card) , and aggressive tactics (debt collectors!) is true. If you value your time, and credit, never do business with these people

Xing - Worst company in making…

One of the worst company with the most disgusting customer policy and service model. These guys should be sued in every country they are based in. cursed 'auto renewal' every year for €96 with no reminders. Keep in mind that you have to set reminders on your mobile / laptop/ business calendars / ipads / etc to make sure to get rid of this worthless service. Xing's customer policy is so appalling that it makes you feel as if the company is run by a bunch of money-hungry monkeys who took online MBA lessons and failed at it. I would advise prospective job seekers to never get membership on Xing unless you want to be stolen by a contract.

Only for limited audience.

It's a great website but the audience or you can say users are limited to this website. The website looks good and the contents also look good just make it for world wild users. Other than that the website is productive and has quality users.

There is no reason to be on Xing. Not one.

besides the worst experience in customer service and their aggressive attitude towards money, i also think it is not worth at all being on that platform. i've been a member since openbc (former name of the platform) was all over the place. and also a premium member for many years. and then i realized, it wasn't worth the money for me. although i've got a good network of people there, most of my contacts aren't really on xing anymore (yes, they moved on). so i wanted to cancel my premium membership and went through the entire process so many of you experienced. so, finally a non-premium member, i have to say the free account is a joke. nowadays you can't do anything really without paying a huge amount to them (really, nothing). i don't think they get the concept of providing incentives for people to give them good quality data. so i stopped using it, and deleted the app. then i realized the mobile site is in a really bad shape, too... huu. i think this platform is going down, and won't be there anymore in a few years.

Worst customer service in Germany and …

Worst customer service in Germany and very aggressive money collection tactics for a platform service. Tripled my charges and send lawyer letter that looks like a phishing email and when you call the lawyer the answering machine is always on so I can't check if it's actual phishing or not especially while the letter stated that my bank account would stay blocked till I paid. My guess they are aggressively collecting money because they are in financial disstress

Looks I fell for the trap of so many

Looks I fell for the trap of so many, automatic renewal and then a law firm demanding I send them money as I hadn't paid for something I didn't even know I had to pay for.

How is this business still running.

Same story: automatically renewed membership and an unfriendly mail by XING customer service. Stay away from this service.

XING is money machine with sole purpose of locking people into unwanted. XING 'customer service' is inhumane and annoying

XING is merely money machine with sole purpose of locking people into unwanted renewal. XING 'customer service' is so annoying with sending invoices for Premium service renewal you didn't order and don't use. If you accidentally and unfortunatelly bought Premium, you are cought into their trap. They don't warn users of new automatic renewal cycles approaching, and they their only argument is that automatic renewal is mentioned on 'page 243', so you agreed when you clicked 'Agree' on Terms of use. Lucky you, they didn't come to collect your kidney, because it can have been mentioned on the next page.

Very cunning business model, but corrupt and therefore should be stopped.

XING Premium membership review - WARNING!

*WARNING* Premium Membership locks you into an automatic renewal.
1. XING does not make the price clear at sign up.
2. Price DOUBLES after renewal.
3. XING does not make auto-renewal terms clear - these terms are mentioned in their Terms & Conditions (8500 words long).
Customer support was rude and unacceptable.
As for the actual premium membership - simply poor. It was valueless for me and offered very little. The only people, it seems, making money on this network are ... XING!

Customer Service is Appalling

I find it hard to believe that a business like XING which is reportedly worth £54 Million can treat customers so poorly. I am not a fan of businesses that Ram Terms and Conditions down your throat when you ask them to cancel your account.

I am not going to go into the whole story here as I don't want ruin my Christmas.

Completely useless service, and they steel your money.

It would not be so bad if the people is customer services communicated like human beings.
