We went to New Malden showroom. Went to walk upstairs. Ask if we had a appointment. We just said we want to look around. Made to feal unwelcome by ladies on reception.
The delivery was completed very professional and promptly. Both Gareth and Mike were very helpful with good customer service, and ensured the many parcels delivered were stored in such a way to ensure access in a tight space was maintained.
J Evans-baldwin was very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly
We feel the whole process of having our kitchen fitted was amazing, the speed and precision of the team was outstanding. Professional, Polite and the attention to detail was exceptional. We would 100% highly recommend this team.
From calling into showroom to a member of staff contacting me was quick and efficient
Extremely disappointed with Wren – poor workmanship and appalling customer service
We are extremely disappointed with our experience with Wren after having a fitted dressing room installed in the Infinity range. For the amount of money you spend, you expect a professional finish, good workmanship and decent customer service. Unfortunately, we have experienced none of these.
The quality of the fitting has been very poor. The doors do not sit flush, there are gaps that have been left unfinished, and several panels are not level. The skirting boards have also been hacked off and put back so badly that you can see the wall behind them next to the corners of the units. This is simply not the standard of finish we expected from a company like Wren.
The fitter appeared uninterested in listening to our concerns, and we felt he was rushing the job rather than taking the time to do it properly. The result is a dressing room that we are unhappy with and that does not look how we expected a professionally fitted installation to look.
Unfortunately, the problems do not stop at the installation itself. The customer service we have received since raising our concerns has been just as disappointing. A field surveyor came out to inspect the issues, but we were then left chasing for a response. We have been passed from pillar to post between different people, repeatedly fobbed off or ignored, and left feeling that nobody is willing to take responsibility for resolving the situation.
We were told that something would be done regarding certain parts, yet nothing was ever booked in. Since then, we have once again been met with silence, more chasing and being passed between different members of staff.
To make matters worse, during the inspection, the field surveyor told us that we should have been offered the Infinity Plus range in store if we wanted a fully fitted dressing room without gaps. This was never offered to us. We made it clear what we wanted and were always under the impression that the dressing room we purchased would be fitted to achieve that finish. Had the differences between the ranges been properly explained to us at the time of purchase, we could have made an informed decision.
We are now left questioning why we were not advised properly in store, why the installation has been completed to such a poor standard, and why Wren seems so reluctant to put things right.
The most frustrating part is not just the poor workmanship, but the complete lack of communication and accountability afterwards. We should not have to continually chase a company after spending a significant amount of money on a fitted dressing room.
We would not recommend Wren based on our experience. The installation has fallen well below our expectations, and the after-sales service has made an already disappointing situation even worse. We expected better quality, better advice and a company that would take responsibility when things went wrong. So far, that has not been our experience.
The whole Wren experience has been brilliant from Fabio at the Norwich showroom to the surveyor , the kitchen delivery , the kitchen 😍 and the customer service was great , Kafui was so helpful , friendly , informative and delivered results ! Thank you so much
Very polite, easy to work with, and professional. M McCarthy was quick, and knew what he was doing. Aptly represented the Wren brand.
Daniel Halton was brilliant when he surveyed our kitchen and 2x bedrooms. Knowledgeable and friendly when discussing options. Polite as soon as he stepped through the door which goes a long way, great customer service.
Wren Customer Care telephoned me today to 'discuss' the issues I raised regarding the impractical layout of the kitchen they designed and to ask what resolution I would accept. All of which I have laid out in several emails and a letter. The discussion was simply my repeating for the third or fourth time the issues I raised in August to be met with the response 'you signed off the plan' and 'we will not agree to the resolution you propose'. This being a refund of the cost of the worktop and compensation for the extra costs incurred to switch two elements of the layout which would result in ONE single discreet join in the worktop rather than the 1.8 metres of very noticeable joins.
So, beware, when your Wren kitchen plan turns out to be both impractical and ugly, don't think Wren will do anything to to correct or resolve matters other than to string you along with their empty offers of resolution.
During the planning process the customer is reduced to looking at a screen without the benefit of prices, sizes or types of cabinets. The client is then asked to sign off the plan taking full responsibility for every aspect of the design which , might not, in practice, be functional.
Furthermore, Wren tried to justify the poor decision with reasoning which does not hold up. In this case 'a join in a worktop must be a minimum of 10cm away from the sink to prevent water ingress'; the join in Wren's plan is less than 10cm away from the sink, so there was no good reason for 1.2 metres of join through the 2 metre long peninsula
Wren have not attempted to justify the bank of 30cm drawers which measure a little less than 18 cm internally; inadequate for utensils or cutlery.
Wren appear to have no other intention than to sell, Customer Care is an empty promise, because 'YOU SIGNED OFF THE DESIGN' which absolves Wren of any responsibility.
O Firouzia was very professional and good service delivered.
Emanuelis and Stephen were very professional and efficient with our large order. They made the whole process, which involved a lot of heavy lifting and organisation, both seamless and smooth. Thank you both so much!
My experience was very good. Omid came on time and was very friendly and professional. Did all we had ask for and was very polite.
Lee was brilliant. Rang 25 minutes before arrival. Asked lots of questions regarding the measure. Very pleasant from start to finish. Would recommend him. A great asset to your company.
Kay was helpful, friendly and efficient. Great customer service.....
In May 2023 I bought a kitchen from Wren the first year was okay. The second year was also okay, but in the third year, we've noticed the stripping coming away from the end of the panels, 2 of them Are by the cooker left and right and then we've noticed the third one was coming away by my wash machine there is no damp or wetness who would have done that. It's all in a dry area . I have been in contact with the kitchen supplier. So the first 2 was the beginning of the year and I had to pay extra 78 pound× 2 somebody who come out to do the panels for me. So bearing in mind, I have paid 78 pounds on each of these panels. Then I've noticed a month ago. This is the same happening again. I've been in contact with the kitchen suppliers, and I have said that I have to pay out every time 78 pounds, so 65 pounds VAT told the company this cannot continue. I have said , i've saved up for this kitchen vor 4 years and i'm starting to hate . To begin with, it was a beautiful kitchen. Now I'm wondering what else is going wrong.I have told the company this. They are not prepared to give me any other compensation.I have paid out of my own pocket for a fitter to have the panels fitted. I went to the showroom there made it so nice that they tell you there's never, ever going to be anything wrong with it.This is why you've got such a long guarantee on it course, I fell for it. I have sent them an email. They are saying that my compensation is that the panel's been sent to me.Guarantee on my kitchen it should be automatically the kitchen comes with a guarantee. They have to honour it that does not make it bright to say. This is my compensation. I'm very disappointed with the supplier, and that I have trusted them.
Our experience at the showroom was very good, the selection process, the planning and the virtual tour were quite impressive. Where WREN’s let themselves down is the misleading marketing. 7 years Interest Free credit (we didn’t want that) but that’s the slogan, but once you draw down into that, yes it 7 years Interest Free, but only if you buy the Top Range, and then pay 50% upfront, so although it looks and sounds good it is less than honest. We decided on the 3 year interest free deal but still had to lay out over £3.5k in deposit. Bare this in mind if you visit the showroom. We were appointed an initial installer, these people are sub-contractors of Wren, there job is to do the Dry Install, but here’s the Rub, they make extra money by providing additional services, gas disconnect and reconnect with gas safe certificates, plumbing is extra, tiling is extra, electrical appliances are extra and so it goes on. So you need to factor this in when you purchase the Kitchen, installers can charge literally what they like. Our first installer, had a stinking attitude, would not respond to text or calls and had a very uncooperative attitude, when he demanded payment up front for services he had not provided he became argumentative and confrontational, we requested Wren to appoint a new installer, which they duly did, and they must take credit for this. Our kitchen arrived and was safely secured but the installers was delayed. We were appointed a new Installer, and I must state here and now, that FURNITUREISTICLtd, were anazing to work with, Eastern European, pleasant, understanding, cooperative and had an amazing administrator called Claudia who linked everything together brilliantly. They arrived on time, kept us informed all the way through the project, came when they said they would and raised a daily invoice that I was pleased to sign off and pay at the end of each day. FURNITUREISTIC LTD, are the Company that you should request when booking your installation, believe me when I say this, you will not regret it, they are outstanding, a total pleasure to deal with. My wife and I are so happy with the product that we now have installed, it could have been so much worse with the first appointed installers, remember that name FURNITUREISTIC LTD. The total time for the rip out and install was around 5 days, they worked so hard we were happy to be patient to get our end product. Today, another tick in the WREN box I had the pleasure of receiving a phone call from MARIE in the after care team, briefing me on what comes next, follow on orders, snagging and contact details if any issues arise, this was a really nice touch and MARIE is also a credit to the company. My overall experience with WRENS has been a positive one, a few hiccups along the way, but they have listened and assisted, resulting in us have the dream kitchen of our choice. Thank you to all that helped in this process but especially to Claudia and her team at FURNITUREISTIC Ltd, if your having installers doing your kitchen, remember that name. Robert , IWADE, Kent
