The whole staff was personable. We felt like our dining room waiter, Alden, adopted us. He knew our preferences and prepared the table for us. I left things in the vault. The staff tracked us to o... See more

Every member of the crew was extremely friendly and helpful. Also, the food was excellent! We are definitely recommending victory cruises to our friends.
VICTORY II VACATION JULY 22-AUG. 1, 2026
The feedback section of your website is not sufficient for the responses one might want to leave. The food and the cabin service were beyond excellent, and the organization of the excursions was very efficient and smooth. We especially appreciated the concern for the passenger and staff safety when rough weather was predicted on Lake Michigan near Chicago. The Lakelorian lectures were very very well done - very interesting and informative. Too bad our Milwaukee excursion made us miss most of the Edmund Fitzgerald presentation. We would have liked to spend more time on some excursions, with a little more time to explore the area around the main attraction. On one, we seemed to spend more time getting to the site than we did at the actual site.
We were a little concerned about the deck safety on the 4th level where the stateroom doors opened directly to the outside - when it was wet and windy it was very hard to navigate, especially for people who are senior citizens. We would highly recommend this cruise to anyone who wants to see the Great Lakes, and this company for traveling.
Couldn’t have been better!
Couldn’t have been better!
Every employee was eager to help, serve, and make us happy. When I saw the flax seeds weren’t ground, I asked for that and every morning, the waiter found me to give me my ground up flax seeds. I got my morning greens of steamed spinach. Many vegetables were available as I prefer veggies over meats.
The shore experiences we chose were all great. Ship was clean; food was good.

Was our first small ship experience and we found it over the top. All personal was very knowledgeable, nice and helpful….customer service was outstanding. The food quality was one of the best we have experienced as well.
Cruise Review
I originally booked this because we liked the itinerary. Once on board, I was very pleased with the friendliness of ALL the staff, the service was top notch and the food was great. Our room attendant Jho was extremely good at her job, always looked happy and she went above and beyond for us.
The nightly entertainment was very good too.
Overall Victory did a great job of making this a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Good experience on the ship and ashore
Good experience on the ship and ashore. A couple of my bucket list items were checked off. Friendly attentive and efficient staff. The boat band was terrific. The only problem is the way passports were returned at the end, coulda been a lot better.

Thank You to All!
Lori & Micky; thank you for your time spent keeping us educated, informed and on schedule.
The staff on Victory II love their jobs and it shows.
The service is A+, they serve with confidence and interest in who they are serving and what we enjoy.
The locations we traveled to were wonderful, with top notch excursions offered and enjoyed. We especially loved the boat museums, Mackinac island, and the Forestry and Maple syrup tours.
Thank you to Joh for keeping our room freshened up daily.
Thank you to Rahul and Norma, You both made our dinning experiences so much fun! The food choices were fresh, plenty and delicious.
At the end of each day we enjoyed cocktails and great entertainment in the lounge. The musicians were fantastic! Thank you to James, Jett, Noah and Jenna. They brought us a variety of music to sing and dance to nightly.
Lastly, Thank you to our boat Captain and crew for caring about our safety. We may not have gotten to sail in to Chicago, but there was no doubt that our safety in bad weather was your priority.
Looking forward to my next Victory cruise!
Exceeded our expectations, Bravo to the Victory Team!
The pre-night hotel was excellent and is a great inclusion to avoid any inbound flight issues. All of the included tours and premium tours were well planned and executed, we did all the included and several of the premium and I think the money was well spent. From the moment we boarded the entire crew were welcoming, friendly and Professional. Captain Vlad and his senior staff were very accessible and always seen around the ship. Every afternoon we had a great talk about the areas we were headed to and excursion details. The food offerings were very good and they go out of their way to accommodate special requests. The band onboard did a great job entertaining along with some special theme nights. Our stateroom attendant Amaliah always kept our space pristine and fully stocked. The mood onboard is relaxed and social which was perfect! I highly recommend Victory Cruise Lines and look forward to getting back onboard in the near future. The Great Lakes Itinerary was wonderful.
The staff
The staff, the food, the entertainment and the excursions were all exceptional.
Fantastic Experience
We had a great trip with your group. The staff was fantastic and very professional. The food was great also. We will for sure recommend Victory Cruise Lines to friends and family. We had some friends on the cruise in May 2026 and they loved it also. Keep doing what you are doing!!!!!

The best time ever on a cruise. The cruisers, the staff were all A+.Keep doing what your doing and the customers will be beating down your doors.Fantastic Cruise
We enjoyed crew and the shore excursion.
We had issues with our room steward
We had issues with our room steward. Took two days and several requests to get bath towels. Again took two days to get shower gel when it ran out.
Most food on the ship is from frozen items. No fresh fish . American hamburgers were cheap frozen thin slices of meat. We ate sunny side eggs every morning to get actual fresh protein.
When dinner orders placed, everything arrives at same time. So if we both have salads we’re doing okay but when my husband ordered soup as well , our main courses were still sitting on the serving table so when he finished, our main courses were already cold and brought to us.
Never had an opportunity to try their grill option. They allowed everyone multiple reservations. We were on top floor and were invited to one meal as a perk but they started out on top deck which means you have to climb outside staircase and we are disabled so cannot climb.
The pluses were the good service in the dining room. Waiters at all meals were attentive and worked hard. Bartender excellent and worked very hard.
Wine and cocktails were varied and the variety was very good.
The nightly entertainment by the three piece band was excellent and the highlight of the trip. Lectures about the Great Lakes were very good.
Excursions were good even the included ones. Excellent bus transportation provided.
Value for the money? No. We have over 26 years of river cruises and ocean cruises. If comparing this Victory cruise to the many river cruises we have taken in Europe, Vietnam and Egypt, I would say it ranks low. Even food in third world countries was fresh and served hot.
Attention to details on and off ship.
All on board services were excellent. The utilization of same services with each excursion was great. Use of tour guides at each excursion made it very informative.
Had a great cruise !!!!
Really nice that ship was decorated or the 4th of July. Food was excellent, especially the Tuscan Grill (got there 4 times, yay !!). And the crew. From the purser to Mohammed at the gangway to the crew you passed in the halls. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and all smiles. Made us feel welcome. But the best was the staff in the The Grill. Spoke to James )head waiter) and told him he ran a great crew there. His first comment was 'It's a team effort'. Marlowe and Menino were terrific waiters, as was Renz (assistant waiter). Joseph the bar waiter learned my drinks on the first day, and made sure I was hydrated. The whole staff there seemed like a well oiled machined. Anticipating our next request, always there if you need something,
We will sail Victory again in the future and will most likely be Victory 1 and hope we get the same dining crew, Thanks for a great trip
Perfect
Everything was just perfect. All staff was professional and very good at their respective duties. The food selections were quite good with the correct portions . The included port tours were conducted by informative personnel.
It was an enjoyable and informative cruise.
