The whole staff was personable. We felt like our dining room waiter, Alden, adopted us. He knew our preferences and prepared the table for us. I left things in the vault. The staff tracked us to o... See more

Your crew, staff, and
attention to all passengers made for a memorable sailing.
Continue Success as Victory sails the
Great Lakes 💫
This was my first cruise
This was my first cruise. I didn't want to be on a ship with 5000 strangers. I liked the size of the Victory I. The ship had nice accommodations and the crew provided excellent service. The food was fantastic. My biggest worry was overindulging. The ports of call and available tours were interesting. I even learned about things and places in my own home state that I had never known before.
The crew was so friendly and helpful
The crew was so friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Entertainment was great. Met great people on board.
Rooms are too small
Rooms are too small, bathroom and shower are way too small.
Food is only OK, not great.
Staff is very nice and attentive.

Lost luggage in Dallas. It finally made it to Port Colborne. Everyone was so helpful like trip greetors, Westen staff, Lori on ship and more.
Almost didn't go to Niagara but when I knew luggage on way, I went. Too wet, too crowded (like tour boat held 700 passengers), not enough time for zip line (probably 200 in line) and so much mist couldn't see anything. Suggest Niagara Falls on a weekday
Bus Drivers GREAT! Patrick and Rex. Appreciate the same drivers whole trip. Driver for detour to Chicago (because of weather) horrible! Bad driver and didn't speak English well.
Agnelo my steward. Exceptional!
Max dining room Excellent- I was playful at dinner and he was always accommodating. 🙂
Grill dining, not the best. Bread and other choices not the freshest.
Tour instructions for Mackinac not clear. Missed carriage ride (True I didn't go to preview with instructions day before). Others were confused also.
Met Captain when I went to purser to see where I could get a lighter. He gave me one, said to keep it. (Had no idea he was Captain). Found mine and gave it back, so now he said it is saved for emergency for others.
Mary , wife of Marv who is blind, fell off bike on Mackinac. Eric (ship staff on vacation with mom) were right there to help. Doc on board, Lori and everyone helped.
Weather issues disappointing. No sailing to Chicago, no excursion on Chicago river). Staff handled well.
Staff were friendly,respectful
Staff were friendly, respectful, and efficient. Ship was clean. Easy to get around.Food was good and a variety.
A great cruise with inviting itinerary.
We enjoyed our time aboard Victory II. Although our room, 207, was very noisy, when brought to the attention of the staff they were right on it. The mechanicals under the room will always be there, so it is unfortunate nothing can be done. The issue was resolved in our favor so we mived on. Overall, we were impressed. The ship is super clean and well maintained. The crew is very personable and professional. A special callout to our waiter Edward. A true professional who goes out of his way to please the customer. Thank you Edward.
All the staff I came in contact with very professional.

Remarkable Journey with Caring Employees
All expectations were exceeded on our Victory Cruise of the five Great Lakes. From the attentive and caring staff, to the overabundant amount of delicious food offered, and included excursions with engaging guides... I 100% recommend Victory Cruise Lines. Our trip was wonderful from start to finish. It is a true luxury choice for anyone wanting to see the Great Lakes or anywhere they sail.
The shipboard staff was great except…
The shipboard staff was great except for the Purser office which could not even do simple things. The tour director did not have a lot of information. You need a website that is useful and much more details on excursions. Have an app instead of a website which never stays connected for ships activities. Your laureate was extremely knowledgeable.
The entire staff were delightful

VICTORY II VACATION JULY 22-AUG. 1, 2026
The feedback section of your website is not sufficient for the responses one might want to leave. The food and the cabin service were beyond excellent, and the organization of the excursions was very efficient and smooth. We especially appreciated the concern for the passenger and staff safety when rough weather was predicted on Lake Michigan near Chicago. The Lakelorian lectures were very very well done - very interesting and informative. Too bad our Milwaukee excursion made us miss most of the Edmund Fitzgerald presentation. We would have liked to spend more time on some excursions, with a little more time to explore the area around the main attraction. On one, we seemed to spend more time getting to the site than we did at the actual site.
We were a little concerned about the deck safety on the 4th level where the stateroom doors opened directly to the outside - when it was wet and windy it was very hard to navigate, especially for people who are senior citizens. We would highly recommend this cruise to anyone who wants to see the Great Lakes, and this company for traveling.
Couldn’t have been better!

Every employee was eager to help, serve, and make us happy. When I saw the flax seeds weren’t ground, I asked for that and every morning, the waiter found me to give me my ground up flax seeds. I got my morning greens of steamed spinach. Many vegetables were available as I prefer veggies over meats.
The shore experiences we chose were all great. Ship was clean; food was good.

Cruise Review
I originally booked this because we liked the itinerary. Once on board, I was very pleased with the friendliness of ALL the staff, the service was top notch and the food was great. Our room attendant Jho was extremely good at her job, always looked happy and she went above and beyond for us.
The nightly entertainment was very good too.
Overall Victory did a great job of making this a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Good experience on the ship and ashore
Good experience on the ship and ashore. A couple of my bucket list items were checked off. Friendly attentive and efficient staff. The boat band was terrific. The only problem is the way passports were returned at the end, coulda been a lot better.

They are doing everything well From the back office to the onboard staff, drivers, etc. All handled well, efficiently and with a huge smile. The excursions are great. Food is amazing. Victory knows what they are doing. Do yourself a favor and give this company a try. You will not be disappointed.
Everything is done well!

Thank You to All!
Lori & Micky; thank you for your time spent keeping us educated, informed and on schedule.
The staff on Victory II love their jobs and it shows.
The service is A+, they serve with confidence and interest in who they are serving and what we enjoy.
The locations we traveled to were wonderful, with top notch excursions offered and enjoyed. We especially loved the boat museums, Mackinac island, and the Forestry and Maple syrup tours.
Thank you to Joh for keeping our room freshened up daily.
Thank you to Rahul and Norma, You both made our dinning experiences so much fun! The food choices were fresh, plenty and delicious.
At the end of each day we enjoyed cocktails and great entertainment in the lounge. The musicians were fantastic! Thank you to James, Jett, Noah and Jenna. They brought us a variety of music to sing and dance to nightly.
Lastly, Thank you to our boat Captain and crew for caring about our safety. We may not have gotten to sail in to Chicago, but there was no doubt that our safety in bad weather was your priority.
Looking forward to my next Victory cruise!
