Very good bike and a big experience to cycle through the city. The Boost Button is the best there is. And the bike is very very smooth and quiet.

Motor and buttons acting weird after 1,5 week
I love the look of the new bike and if it works it works perfectly! However, I received my bike 2 weeks ago and already have some problems. My buttons needed replacement in the first week and now my bike is acting like a stubborn horse… It will sometimes go slow and then all of a sudden (without paddling faster) it goes really fast. Might be the rain or the motor but not happy as I have the bike since 2 weeks!!!

Mixed Bag
Pro:
new colour (blue) is really beautiful.
all the good ideas from S5 now actually work smoothly and all the time.
Battery also seems better but if you go fast it is 50km max, not 60-120.
Con:
No exiting new features compared to S5
When battery is low it not only cuts the motor but you can't use the kicklock anymore - very bad idea.
No chance for US mode anymore ....makes it very slow compared to an S5.

Great experience
Great experience. Especially the boost button. Next time for sure a VanMoof. I had bought the S3 in December 2020 . Renewed the brake system and tyres. The only bad things on the bike which i have changed.

Beautiful bike with great tech
Beautiful bike with great tech and a wonderful ride (Smooth gear shifting and great power applied), unfortunately the spacers I ordered after the initial purchase do not fit, and missed the route planner in the app( it coming still) but otherwise a really great electric bike. Worth the investment.

S5 buyer before 2024
I was a before "crash" buyer of an S5 and it worked ok for me. It is still up and running and carries from A to B even during the winter time. Some issues, sometimes, but if you know where the Reset button can be found - no big deal.
Another Vanmoof awaits me in the cellar: an X3 from 2021/2(?) or so, it also works, but the shifter of the newer S5 is simply smarter.
After all: still a very cool bike which people (sometimes) look at with a smile.

I have mixed feelings about my new S6.
Good:
The Autoshift Hub works much better than on my S3.
The Electric Blue color is very nice.
Neutral:
The Autoshift Hub could still be improved (shift points and slip).
I couldn't feel that the Autoshift Hub was adjusting automatically.
The boost has not been noticeably increased compared to the S3.
Minus:
The handlebar risers have to be ordered separately at additional cost.
Unfortunately, this is not pointed out when ordering, and if you are taller than 185 cm, you ride without risers, like a monkey on a grindstone.
The “Halo Light Display” is not as beautiful as it is shown on the website (the spacing between the LEDs is much too large).
My displays also flicker, fail completely, or sometimes flash wildly.
The seat spring support squeaks unbearably loudly when springing.
The welds on the fork and rear frame are not attractive.

Service issues. No USA support
I love my S-3 I ordered during covid. I feel the bike is the best for Seniors here in the states. I have tried to contact V-Moof several times but received no answer.
All I want is access to purchase an E-shifter as mine is continually refusing to shift out of gears 1 & 2 and must reset daily.
