The new S6 is an excellent bike and especially the shifting has improved massively. So far no errors or other issues we have all experienced with the pervious versions.

We bought a new bike
We bought a new bike. After 1 week it started unlocking in the middle of the night. Alarm going off and al the lights flashing. After contacting van moof we only got the reaction to go to a bike shop to get if fixed. No bikeshop wants to help is with the problem.
The cycling itself is good but the error/problem is not. And the service is horrendous.

After using the bike two times it stopt working .Checked everything online, reset didn’t work. Very disappointing . Retailshop I bought the bike is taking it back. Cheap Dutch engineering

The matte paint is very delicate easy to get damage or scratches. Also the bottom was damaged the first week, I got to replace them.

Just love it
I love the front carrier attached on the frame, color and the turbo button. Handling is also great. Had an issue, but support helped me very good (software update). I'll hope I van use it for many years.

Overall not worth the money
Overall, it does the job. Compared to my old S3, it looks better and feels sturdier. However, I still often take my old S3 because of its speed, smoothness, and brakes. The brakes on the S6 make a very annoying noise, and the alarm sometimes goes off while riding and even in sleep mode during the night. That’s quite frustrating.
For the amount of money you pay, I would have bought something else. In my opinion, it’s not worth the price tag.

The bike is fantastic
The bike is fantastic, but unfortunately, it’s not suitable for US citizens. The S6’s maximum speed is limited to 25 km/h. I eagerly anticipate Vanmoof’s upcoming update for their bike in the US, which will allow it to reach the legal speed limit of 35 mph.h

Great bike. - not all digital functions are working reliable
The bike is great and the digital features are complementing the experience.
Never the less the reliability of the digital features, which can be used via the four buttons are not always reliable. While using them from the app, there are working all the time. But ringing the bell via app is not an option during the drive, hence it sucks if it is not working as intended. The next drive or later during the drive it is working again.

Delivery times are inaccurate. VanMoof specifies a period during which the S6 will be delivered, but three weeks after the planned delivery date, it still hasn't arrived.

Everything will be fine now
In fact, the S6 only worked on the first day. It took a whole 4 km before the motor stopped providing assistance.
The dealer's workshop was unable to repair the fault, so the bike had to be sent in. Apparently, I am now supposed to get another S6. The dealer has not yet been able to give me a date for this. I actually thought that the new bikes from van Moof would be more reliable than the old ones. Some years ago I had already this experience with the S2. Obviously, I was wrong!

Van Moof is the best
I am the proud owner of an S5 and my girlfriend has an A5. The Van Moof cannot be compared to any other e-bikes on the Dutch market. The finish alone is incredible—no wires, nothing. The design is 100% unique, and the new 6 series is even more beautiful, with no welds on the frame. Yes, you shouldn't have any problems with the cartridge or other electrical components. Hopefully, the new owner (McLaren) is aware of this and they will be easier to obtain. But the bike is unique, truly a riding experience you will never forget.
