V12 Hinckley
Avoid at all costs!
Arranged a test drive of a VW T-Roc at V12 in Hinkley on Friday 07/08/26 for 2pm. Liked the car so sat down with salesman (Onder) to talk numbers.
V12 offered a pitiful trade in for my car of £7500 which I refused.
After much time came back with an amended offer of £9000 which I still refused and walked away.
After discussing with partner overnight we decided to go for deal, so rung V12 back up on Saturday 08/08/26 to ask if deal was still available. When I gave car reg number to the female who answered, she said that the salesman had put a note against car, that if customer phoned back that the same deal would still be offered. Happy with that I put down a £99 deposit to secure the car. The female said that the car would be reserved and withdrawn from sale for me.
I asked her to get the salesman to call me back and confirm the details and arranged to come back on Monday 10th to pay balance and collect the car. No call was received Saturday or Sunday and no receipt for the deposit either despite the money leaving my bank.
The car remained on sale on V12 website and Autotrader all weekend and didn’t look like it had been withdrawn at all.
I phoned at opening time of 10am on Monday 10th to confirm appointment and was told I was booked in for 11am.
On arrival I was told to wait which again I did for over an hour as Onder served another customer, which I found very unprofessional.
He said he needed to check trade in figures again with his manager.
This was done again and on his return I was shocked to find trade in deal was now only £8553 and not the £9000 offered on Friday 7th.
I was not happy with this so asked to speak to a manager.
Raj the sales controller came in to see me. I told him either they stick to original trade in offer or I would get refund on deposit and walk away.
That trust had been lost and it was appalling customer service to go back on a deal on an £18495 car for the sake of £447.
He said he would go and check figures again but came back and said no they could not offer original deal as profit margins were so tight.
So after two trips to V12 in Hinkley (totalling 172 miles around trips from Corby) I drove away feeling angry and disgusted at the customer service I had received and the inconvenience caused by wasting my time.
V12 was founded as a family run business but they have gotten to big for their boots and now no longer seem to put their customers first, just interested in maximising profits at the expense of alienating their customers with false promises. I’m sure the original founder would be shocked at how his business is now being conducted.

Genuinely terrible experience when dealing with this company.
We made an appointment, turned up on time and still sat for nearly 2 hours waiting to be seen, then a further 45 mins of sales-typing until i actually saw the car. When we decided we didnt want it, the salesperson (Tony, from memory) became unpleasant and rude towards my partner. My driving license was taken, and then lost. I've been seeking, and have been promised, its return since early july, only to be told today they don't have it anyway. Their whatsapp chat bot doesn't actually engage a human to address the queries raised to it and their phone lines redirect to other companies with no warning or further information.
Avoid if you value your sanity.

Purchased the a car from V12 last Tuesday 4th August. The car was at the Wolverhampton branch but V12 delivered it to Hinckley for me. There was a charge but this was totally refunded when I went to see the car. Really helpful staff Cam, Raggan and Jag who helped with removing some paint from the windscreen. Star of the show Laura I discovered the compressor was missing from the tyre repair kit. I turned up early on Friday the show room wasnt open. Even though they were closed Laura quickly found me a brand new compressor free of charge. The cars is great thanks to all at V12 Frank Barson

Nareejah was helpful and efficient. I had trouble writing the review and wanted to do a separate one for Amaan but it didn’t let me. Anyway, he was good too especially for his first day!

I’m really pleased with how things turned out. I was a bit unsure at first, but Jack and Nafeesah made the process much easier. Jack was very helpful and took the time to go through my options, which helped me feel more confident about my decision. He provided honest advice and didn’t push anything unnecessary, which I appreciated. When it came to sorting out the paperwork, Nafeesah explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions patiently. It felt like they were focused on what was best for me rather than just making a sale.

I paid the deposit on a car on Wednesday,I spoke with somome called Joel Baz who said it would come with a fresh MOT.Due to the distance I said I wanted to collect the car on Friday at agreed appointment time he said that was fine they would have the car ready for collection and all paper work ready. He sent me an invoice which was paid on the Friday. When we arrived to collect the car,a salesman took us into the office,he thought I had come to.see a different car, after him finding details of the correct car he left the office he came back to say he would get it brought to site,he then disappeared again only to return saying theres a major problem with the car when I questioned how this could be as they had sold me the car he went away again coming back saying it was a minor fault it has a flat battery so they are unable to open it..I asked why they dont nip to Halfords to buy a new battery I was willing to wait, they said they couldn't do this they need to get a specialist lock smith in to open the car..Having had keyless entry for the last 10 years I knew that this was an excuse as you can still open the car door using the little key inside the key fob.He took us to see the car which was not on site,it hadn't been cleaned it was in a compound with 100s of other cars all looking rather dirty. He said he was going to get the key and returned without so I asked where it was he went away again took some time to return to then say the key inside fob was missing!! Nothing in there excuses added up they said when buying the car the key was missing,so how did they know the car wouldn't start? How do they know it wasn't the key fob battery that had gone? It was obvious they had forgotten to get the car ready for collection & mot it but there advert states it had all its checks completed by AA standards it had been MOT'd..They tried to get me to get me to buy a different car,why would I do this when they already had part payment of £12,995 for the car i wanted? Management had no customer skills & wasn't able to say why the car was not ready as they had 3 days to do so.They said they would deliver the car to me when they had fixed the issues, how could i trust them after the failures? They tried blaming a call centre for the car not being ready, surely the call staff are contracted by V12? There are many errors in there advertising which i will report to trading standards. How do photos show the car gleaming when in fact its off site in a dusty dirty compound? I would avoid this company especially the Hinckley branch i now have to wait 5 days for money to be returned..
I wished i had ready all the negative feedback as everyone states the same problems we had..I know there going to reply with a message giving false information like they have others, they really dont care & have no competence to even try to resolve.

Tony was very kind and approachable, making the process easy and comfortable. He took extra care to engage with my young daughters, which made a real difference. It felt like I was dealing with a person rather than a typical salesperson. Alex handled the handover efficiently and ensured everything was clear about the next steps. The whole experience left me feeling valued and looked after throughout.

Gave me a valuation over the phone for my part exchange that was slightly higher than main dealer offers. However, after driving nearly 60 miles to complete the deal with V12, they tried to lowball me way below any other valuation at the last minute when I was about to sign.
The car I was trading is a premium model in excellent condition, and they couldn't give any reason for knocking the price down. This feels like a shady tactic to lure people in, and I recommend staying clear.
On another note, the site itself is poor with no parking anywhere, cars parked on double yellows, a scruffy building, and cattle market-like conditions. The sales guy was nice, but the valuation was out of his control. In the end, I drove 120 miles and wasted six hours for nothing.

I recently had to organize a diagnostic check and battery replacement under my vehicle warranty, and the service from Hayley and Tahlia in the aftersales team was absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly helpful, communicative, and handled the garage approvals smoothly. When there was an issue with the timing of the garage payment, Hayley stepped in immediately to liaise with the accounts team and get it resolved so I could collect my car on time. Exceptional customer service, thank you so much!
