VERY MUCH A GAMBLE
You would think with buying a car from a garage, you have a bit of support or something to lean back on should there be a problem or something go wrong.
Thats not the case with these.
They seem to do nothing with the car, a few ticks on an AA handover sheet is the most.
We brought a car for my 16 year old son. Viewed it one day, put down a deposit and went to collect a few days later.
On collecting it, it took about an hour to get the car and get it cleaned.
We were taken to the handover stage - still hadn’t seen the car. They got my 16 year old son to sign to say he’d inspected the car when they hadn’t even shown it is. (And yes I should be monitoring him) he was handed and signed the paperwork before looking and when I had a go at him about not reading it, I was told not to worry - it’s just a formality.
After doing all the paperwork, we were handed keys and told the car was outside on the side of the road.
Number plate was just about hanging on, and we had to go back over to get someone to reattach it.
We didn’t notice at that point however there was a chip in the windscreen.
Only when we got in the car and started to drive home did we see something, which I hoped was a squashed bug. When we stopped to fill up and confirmed it was a chip, we contacted them and as we had signed the pre delivery inspection, then it was on us. 🙄
There is no way when cleaning that car that they didn’t see that chip. And trying to check a car at the side of the road there is just isn’t do able.
All seems very underhand from them.
Maybe it was the chip they were trying to hide, or the broken key - who knows.
Otherwise we are lucky - the car mechanically seems fine (touch wood)
Their after-sales support is worthless.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.
I have brought around 5 cars from V12 Sports and classics now, and 4 out of 5 vehicles have had to be returned or sold on to get other vehicles before the faults that seem to be covered up get worse. I had a horrendous experience on the day where was half way through the 1.5 hours drive to get to hinckley to have a call from the sales rep stating my car had been delivered to Worksop instead. Despite being told it would be ready and waiting fully charged and good to go. No level of personal service whatsoever as the salesperson was serving 2 other customers at the same time.
The current vehicle I brought from them was a 2021 Skoda Enyaq EV, i was given the standard 3 month warranty and surprise surprise 2 weeks after it runs out I get a warning light "Electric drive not working correctly" having had issues with the dealership before I went straight to the finance company, stated I had owned the car for less than 5 months and it has not got a major fault present. They contacted the dealership on my behalf which V12 have then responded "its nothing to do with us" so the finance company (Blue motor finance) who have by this point gone into administration have organised for IVIS (independent vehicle inspection service) who have came and viewed my car and "inspected" it, I have called the technician to ask what happens next and what the issue was, his reply being they will ask me 1 or 2 questions and depends on my answers as to the outcome, the questions being "was the fault present at sale? Or was the vehicle sold in a durable condition" the technician went on to say to me that I had the vehicle 4 months and had barely cleared 4000 miles so it should not have 5x pages of faults at this point, however, he then submits a report stating that the issue wasnt there at point of sale and that there is no liability anywhere else except my own.
I have now had confirmation that the vehicle I brought did in fact have a repair carried out for EXACT SAME FAULT the month before I brought it! Now im being ignored by Blue Motor Finance complaints team and V12 together. Absolute joke of a company. Would NEVER buy a vehicle from them again.

I was a bit put off when we arrived to the radio blaring out across the whole street. Parking was a nightmare but there are side roads you can use and not far to walk. It was Monday but the place was really busy. We had to wait for them to find the two cars we were interested in but, to be fair, we hadn’t made an appointment. Onder was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. We chose a car and paid a deposit. We collected it on the Friday. Reeco did the handover and it was all very smooth. When we got home we realised there was no locking wheel nut key with the car. I ordered one from Mercedes myself and they refunded the money promptly when I sent the invoice.

Terrible service, went to buy a car with my son, happy with the deal until they wanted 12% commission to arrange the finance (circa £1800) wouldnt negotiate on bringing that down even though their involvement in the finance is minimal.
They said that Admiral set the commission rates and they couldnt change it yet we arranged finance through another garage, through Admiral at half the commission , just cant trust what they say
Additionally told them we would sort the finance which we did and they noted it on the system then sold the car, which had a £99 deposit on which they havent refunded yet
