Jackie in Haverfordwest always very helpful, friendly and obliging..
I booked a package holiday through TUI and, unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the check-in process was extremely poor. The check-in clerk was rude and unhelpful, which immediately created a negative start to the holiday.
I contacted TUI during the holiday and was told they would contact the hotel and get back to me. However, I never received any follow-up communication or an update regarding the issue. Each time I contacted TUI, I was dealt with by a different representative, often receiving conflicting information. After returning from the holiday, I chased the matter again, but my emails were ignored and I received no response.
Overall, my experience with TUI has been very disappointing. They appear to handle the initial booking process well, especially through their branches, but when problems arise during the holiday, their customer service is inadequate. Complaints are not properly followed up, communication is inconsistent, and there is little evidence of ownership or accountability.
Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about booking with TUI again.
Very smooth overall experience: fights, hotel and inland transfers... I will definitely use TUI again in my next holiday.
Great support by very helpful Tui staff in store.
Terribly Unprofessional Individuals,
To be clear and thankfully, I'm not referring to the pilots, just the cabin crew and the administration staff . Absolutely appalling customer service with no consideration whatsoever for disabilities and I would advise you not to fly with this shoddy airline if you have any form of disability, as they are more interested in selling duty free products than they are about their customers well being.
On a flight from the UK to Spain an unsupervised child was allowed to run up and down the isle whilst the plane was in transit. I brought this to the attention of the cabin crew as this was a risk to the child and the stress of it could have caused a potentially fatal seizure due to my epilepsy . TUI's staff were aware of my disability, or at least should have been, as I had previously informed the company about this when I requested assistance,
Having reported this behaviour to a member of the cabin crew, I was met with a ridiculous response from the a member of the cabin crew, examples being “Please respect that this is a family airline” and worse still “ such is the nature of life get used to it” I was also wearing a hidden disabilities lanyard, if TUI's staff had anything resembling disability awareness training they would have taken this into consideration.
As result of this I made a formal complaint to TUI and to my astonishment this was to no avail as they marked their own homework in favour of themselves and responded with irrelevant waffle without addressing any aspect of my complaint then closed the case.
I will not be flying with this substandard airline ever again and will use Jet 2 in future, as I have had no problems with them.
I give tui 💩/10
So my car broke down and I had to pay £400 to get it fixed which left me short by £42 for my payment. I payed what I could and contacted tui explaining my situation, I apologised and told them I would make up the difference on Thursday (3 days after the payment date) I was then told that they couldn't guarantee that my holiday wouldnt be cancelled and If that happends i would then have to pay the £400 cancellation fee aswell as loosing what I have already put towards the holiday... this is an absolute disgrace. I go on holiday every year and have never missed a single payment. The second something happends and I explain that I would make up the payment within 3 days all of a sudden im the bad guy. I have used tui loads of times in the past and wethet they cancelle my holiday or not this will be the last time I ever use tui again in my life
