really helpful staff in Amy and Mya. would have given 5 stars but for the silly rule around not giving me exact dimensions of ONE wall as requested so that I can order furniture to go on that wall.... See more

Great house design and sales people but the after sales/customer support is absolutely abysmal and I would 100% would not buy if I had to deal with them again.
The customer support team simply DO NOT care about supporting you. Issues for my house took ages and required constant reminders and chasing to the developer. The Customer Relations Manager (David) was like talking to a brick wall as concerns were never relayed or snags actioned in a timely manner.
I complained about another issue affecting our kitchen and spoke about how it affected our family. All the customer rep said over the phone was "aw bless"
Absolutely awful so avoid.

So far the process has been very helpful and stress free. Martyn has been brilliant and kept us up to date and worked really hard for us. We are very grateful for the support so far.

I had a terrible experience with the south midlands, Leighton Buzzard sales team. We were told that there was an opportunity to part exchange, rushed through the process - call with mortgage agents the following day to prove affordability, took day off work 2 days later to allow agents to come in to value, got a call on the 3 days later with a px offer that I was told was from the sales director and I had 24 hours to decide. As we hadn’t seen the show house we drove an hour to St Albans to check we loved it in real life as much as we did from the renderings. I went back to them on Monday and accepted the offer and was told it just needed to go to head office for final sign off. I received an email late today to be told the sales director (who I assume was the same one that signed off the px offer) had decided not to proceed due to budget constraints. The problem I have is that before the process started I said that we were only interested in px, there was a mention of budget constraints but was told that would be checked prior to our first meeting taking place. As that meeting went ahead I assumed there was no issue and allowed to be taken along for a ride. TW - you owe me a days holiday and petrol to St Albans and back

Linsey and Lisa at the Appledown Gate were exceptional in taking us through the "From house to home" experience.
They carefully explained the process, answered all our questions satisfactorily and have been checking up on us as we go through the home buying process.
They're both a clear demonstration of Beyond Excellence!

really helpful staff in Amy and Mya.
would have given 5 stars but for the silly rule around not giving me exact dimensions of ONE wall as requested so that I can order furniture to go on that wall. I am out of the country and this lack of flexibility is not helpful and serves no purpose.

The sales staff especially Amanda Sparks was very helpful in helping to choose our beautiful Taylor Wimpey Home at Union View 🏠 Her sales manager Jacki is also part of her team and was always helpful.
Amanda always kept in touch with us return our phone calls and emails in a timely response to check the progress of our sale of our house. She is very experienced in her role.
Taylor Wimpey is a reliable builder and the houses are constructed really well with so many extras added.
The after sales experience with Kelly Boylan, the customer relations manager came to our house for snagging defects, was very friendly professional and always keeps up to date with my wife and myself for ticking off snagging when they are done. She is really competent in her role!

We have just reserved a house at Seton Rise in Winchburgh and the process couldn’t have been more smooth.
We dealt with Isla in the sales office and from start to finish the service and advice we received regarding options and the plot etc was impeccable!
All information regarding the plot was explained in depth and the same level of detail was given when choosing the options.
The whole process was an absolute pleasure and I would not hesitate to recommend Taylor Wimpey based on the service we received from Isla.
I can honestly say it was next level when comparing the service I have received in the past from Miller Homes and Robertsons.
Thanks again.

I'm writing this in the midst of going through the purchase journey, but so far everything has been excellent. From my first interaction with the on-site sales executive Tarnya, to the most recent interaction with the site manager Sean, they have been so helpful in explaining the process and reassuring a first-time buyer like myself. They know exactly when to just let you be and do your own thing and explore, and when to offer assistance and answer any question I may have. Massive thanks to Tarnya, Sean and the site team for everything they have done so far!

We are forced to continue dialogue with Taylor Wimpey using only Trust Pilot. We express, at this time Taylor Wimpey have not addressed us with any personal care.
Taylor Wimpey have now in fact cancelled our reservation, at a cost of £1000 to us, and subsequently our solicitors have forced us to settle the account at a further £600 plus VAT. Their response suggests they allowed additional time once they deemed us not proceedable, but they evidently cancelled very promptly.
Remember, this property will not be habitable until mid December, our only request was an extension to the exchange date until early October, we expected to be negotiated down on this to two months at least. Some grace period. A lower interest period in the housing market during the summer months, and any new potential purchaser having to navigate through a number of weeks to get to the stage we are at now, do they seriously expect a completion quicker than we are likely to achieve.
Of course, we still consider ourselves as Taylor Wimpey's safest option, we’re biased. But come on Taylor Wimpey, please show some ethical practices.

I reported a leak in my home in December 2024. This was due to a missing cavity tray in the brickwork. I reported this to Taylor Wimpey who advised they werent responsible and gave me details of who I needed to contact. After hundreds of emails, phone calls and back and forth between different companies for over a year it was finally sorted July 2026. The damage caused damp in my home along with a lot of stress trying to sort. Taylor Wimpey admitted I was mis advised and that "lessons had been learnt" There offer as a gesture of goodwill was a £25 voucher which is a complete insult. Absolutely disgusting.
