Visited their Corby glen site April 2026 , met with a very abrupt unprofessional sales woman . Completely put us off wanting to purchase a house there . Will not be back

We have had to most amazing experience purchasing our forever home with David Wilson. We can not fault them at all. Catriona and Shanice at sholden meadows were absolutely fabulous throughout the process. They were warm and welcoming every time we visited. They would always go the extra mile to help us. I would highly recommend David Wilson as a developer. #plot75forever

We have had Mark at our property today to rectify some of the defects. He was amazing and wouldn't hesitate to have him back to our home. He was polite and approachable. Mark went above and beyond to rectify the all the issues on the list.
Regards
Joanne and Andrew

We have now been in a David Wilson new home for nearly three years. When you are under the 2 year guarantee they did come out to rectify mistakes, some more satisfactorily than others. However, now is the time when you are begin to do jobs yourselves that you realise how badly they were built in first place, with no backup of a guarantee. We have plasterboard walls that were cut too short and filled in with foam filler, sink wastes that have been glued in because that didn't have washers, and our now causing leaks, walls where the ceilings are not level which becomes obvious when hanging curtains and numerous screws popping out through the plasterboard.
When reporting to Mercia team the response is "comments will be passed on". Lets hope they start employing better trades when building!!

We are occupying one of the new houses purchased in June 2024 from David Wilson in Barkby Thorpe in lime Leicestershire.
All new buildings have their perils and the company have fixed them.
The main problem we have been experiencing is the garden ,
Both front and back Lawn not laid down properly ,The grass from the lawn keeps disappearing and leaves empty patches of soil.
After few complaints they replaced some lawn but unfortunately we are still experiencing the same problem again.
When complained again they have flatly refused to rectify the problem even though it’s under 2 years warranty.
Polite reminder was spelled out to us the 2 years warranty does not apply to lLIVE GRASS basically telling us “TOUUGH LUCK WE HAVE YOUR MONEY SOD OFF”
We ourselves have run a business for over forty years not a corporate business like DAVID WILSON but by god there is a word like BUSINESS ETHICS?

Great work by Mark. Exemplary craftsmanship putting right some snagging issues and leaving our house finished to a much higher standard than when we moved in. Highly recommended. Thank you

David Wilson build great homes, and we truly love ours. However, our snagging list unfortunately seems to grow month by month. While they have some great people on their team, a few individuals do let the overall experience down.
I’ve recently reported an issue with the casing around the front door. It has been poorly fitted to the brickwork and excessively sealed with silicone, leaving a messy finish that falls below the standard we expected.
The time from reporting an issue to having it resolved can be quite lengthy. This is no fault of the customer care team, who work extremely hard and are clearly dealing with a constant backlog of issues arising from substandard workmanship.
We also have an ongoing issue with the block paving on our driveway, which was first reported in October 2025 and is still awaiting resolution.
In addition, people are regularly using our land as a cut-through to access a pathway. I requested that David Wilson install additional planting or a metal picket fence to prevent this, but I am still waiting for action since October 2025. I also requested signage to address this issue; however, the signage that was installed has been placed away from my property and does not resolve the problem.
We are now nine months into the two-year warranty period, and while progress has been slow, I remain hopeful that these outstanding issues will be resolved and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

We’ve recently been going through the process of purchasing a new home with David Wilson Homes, and I wanted to share a genuinely positive experience.
From start to finish, the support we received made a real difference, especially given how stressful and unpredictable the buying process can be. A special thank you to Jasmine and Leanne, who have both been outstanding throughout. They have been consistently responsive, patient, and proactive, always willing to step in, chase where needed, and keep things moving forward.
What stood out most was their professionalism combined with a very human approach. They understood the pressure we were under and handled everything with calmness and efficiency, which gave us a lot of reassurance along the way.
It’s rare to come across this level of care and commitment, and it has not gone unnoticed. We’re very grateful for all the support and would highly recommend David Wilson Homes based on our experience so far.
Thank you again, Jasmine and Leanne, you’ve made a challenging process much smoother.

Pointless Part Exchange Price - Firstly, Kerry @ Pastures Place development has been excellent, knowledgeable, informative and attentive, none of the below is aimed her way, our issue is what feels like pure greed on DWH’s part. We identified a house/plot several months ago but it wasn’t ready, so we patiently waited until it was getting close to coming to market, we had done part exchange before with DWH it was smooth, convenient and the valuation of ours and complete deal was on point, hence wishing to do it again, we also knew part exchange was available on the new desired plot as long as the difference was a 20% increase in their favour, we also knew the approximate value of our current property but thought to get it independently valued prior to pursuing figures from DWH’s “Agents of Choice” This independent valuation backed up our predictions, plus a bit extra. We understand how some agents work going in stronger with values to win your business but even with a £10k-£20k drop we would be happy, so negotiation would definitely be there for anyone wanting to buy our house on the open market, and we have done significant improvements in the last 5 years with new kitchen, bathrooms, windows, garage conversion totalling close to £50k. The part ex valuation from DWH’s agents was, hold your breath… £62k below our independent value!! This simply makes it unviable for us to proceed to reserve our much desired plot, even the “Move Maker” option came in at £50k less than our independent valuation and this option means you cannot secure the plot until you are sold! So, there’s a risk of losing the plot you want anyway, the house we would like to buy won’t be finished until late October (it’s not even mid April yet) would a swift buyer of our property via Move Maker hang on so long? Their agents have understandably done the statistical market checks to gauge the value of our house with current sales/trends etc, but the comparative sold houses are not even in our location it’s like comparing Old Kent Road to Trafalgar Square, I’m sincerely not being a snob about this I even went mid table monopoly there for our own house, we don’t live in Park Lane but it’s a substantial plot, well maintained and fully modernised. Our neighbour sold 18 months ago for just under our independent value, practically the same house type too, but untouched since built in 2004 so it needed £30-50k (spec dependent) to modernise which the new owners have since done, does this now make it worth £40-£50k more than ours? Of course not, and we’ve done everything already to modernise ours. I would also say the locations they have compared us to get valuations from have had to be used to find data as hardly anyone sells where we reside as it’s peaceful and safe! Anyway, I’ll hop off the soap box, overall we are hugely disappointed and it would have been our second DWH purchase too, so to think about any kind of loyalty scheme, you may as well forget it! The irony is the incentives being thrown at their unsold stock on Rightmove just proves the decent margins they can achieve without trying to steal our current house.
Again, Kerry has been 1st class, there is no reflection in the service received whatsoever from her, I’m in sales too and know the challenges faced, I think the team above need to be ashamed of the deal presented to her that she has then presented to us as potential repeat customers. A huge lowball for our house and full up money for their’s has made me question their business integrity or simply they don’t want part exchange customers anymore, so it’s a way to get us off the hook?!
Edit: Lily, if you contact Kerry at Pastures Place we were looking to reserve plot 70, she has all my contact details, thanks Matt K

We visited a few new builds in the area and finally settled for a David Wilson home as they suited our needs perfectly, and are built to a very high standard. Our sales advisor Catriona was, and is super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Then along with Steph we reserved our first new build. The process was very quick as the house was built and ready to go. Six weeks later we were in and I can honestly say that we felt at home straight away. The quality of the build, fixtures, fittings and garden are tremendous. I really haven’t found any problems or snags worth mentioning whatsoever, it’s been a dream!! Thank you David Wilson homes you are highly recommended!!

From our initial phone call regarding the site at Lapwing Green, to the wonderful greeting and meetings with Luna and Heather, the introduction to our new home by Matt and through to the ongoing support from Connor and Dean we continue to be truly impressed by the service offered by DWH. Thank you to all of you, sincerely.

Buying our first home was a big step for my wife and I, so we took our time researching and visiting different builders across the UK. We eventually chose David Wilson Homes because of the quality of their properties and their attention to detail in finishing.
But the real reason we settled on Glenvale Park, Wellingborough was Georgia.
From the very beginning, she was simply amazing—warm, honest, and genuinely invested in helping us make the right decision. She kept us informed every step of the way, fought to get us a great deal, and supported us through all our choices, from materials to upgrades.
We had met another great sales representative at Wendel View, but Georgia’s care and dedication stood out. She made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and exciting.
We are truly grateful, and David Wilson Homes is very fortunate to have someone like her.
Since moving in, Shane has also been very helpful to us, he is prompt, listens to any issues we raise and does his best to resolve it as quickly as possible.
We are very happy with the DWH team at Glenvale park so far and hope that our after sale experience will remain stress free.
