Avoid

Avoid ! Purchased a Audi RS4 all was good until they got my money, I had issues with the car soon as I drove out the showroom, they took a good few weeks to sort the issue out and I was promised some sort of compensation by the manager Phil Brown he told me on a few occasions I will receive some rubber mats I have emailed him 3/4 times now but no reply,
I have had a very bad experience with this Audi dealer,
I went all the way from London to Warrington what a disappointment !
I thought I would get a good service from them as they are Audi main dealer also spent £64 K,
I sure they are better dealers to go to.

Great service as ever !!!

Great service as ever looked after by Jamie and Mia who got the car booked in , got the issue diagnosed , confirmed it’s was safe to drive and got the car back to us as quick as they could while parts where ordered . Parts arrived Mia spoke with us as soon as they arrived , got the car in quickly and made sure it was rushed though for us as had had to wait initially for the warranty team to authorise it .
Perfect service , kept informed through out the whole process , car came back hoovered and washed . Thanks to Jamie and Mia for excellent service throughout .

What a day

What a day — and unfortunately, not in a good way.

When we purchased the used Audi, the sales assistant, John Ives, was excellent. He was professional, helpful and reassuring, and specifically confirmed that because the vehicle was an Audi Approved Used Car, the necessary preparation and checks would be completed before we collected it.

We paid for the car in full last week and took half a day off work today to collect it. Unfortunately, the experience at collection was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever encountered.

The sales assistant we dealt with today, Mark Linekar, repeatedly told us, “It’s a used car you’re buying,” despite us simply raising genuine concerns about the condition and preparation of the vehicle.

There was still white tar/residue on the bodywork, amongst other issues. Thankfully, a very kind and competent member of the bodywork team intervened and confirmed that the preparation had not been completed properly.

What was particularly disappointing was that Mr Linekar did not appear interested in properly looking at or addressing our concerns. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told that he was the manager. He said at one point we should superglue the damaged wall of the tyre.

We ultimately left the fully paid-for car at the dealership rather than accepting it in that condition.

My daughter had been really excited about collecting the car and was extremely upset by the way we were spoken to and treated. It was, frankly, a very degrading experience.

I have now submitted a formal complaint and sincerely hope that someone senior at Audi/Stratstone Warrington reviews what happened and resolves the issues with the car appropriately.

I am also grateful to the bodywork technician who took the time to listen, inspect the vehicle and acknowledge that the preparation was not up to the expected standard.

I hope senior management reads this review and takes it seriously. Most importantly, I hope no other customer is made to feel the way we were made to feel today.

The customer service was excellent and the young woman on the service desk could not have been more helpful …. What I do object to however is being asked (by 3 people) to rate them 5* as anything less was no good!! I felt very pressured into doing this and I did rate 5* but because it was deserved and not because I was pressured to do so!! Stratstone need to revisit their appraisal scheme otherwise they will never get a true picture of what’s going on!

My low-mileage 2023 Audi A1 developed a…

My low-mileage 2023 Audi A1 developed a significant coolant issue, eventually diagnosed as an internal charge air cooler failure with coolant entering the cylinders.

The car was with Audi Warrington for 23 days with no courtesy or replacement vehicle. Audi's repair paperwork confirms replacement of the charge air cooler and three spark plugs, a cylinder block borescope inspection and “cleaning of bores due to coolant leak.”

Despite several requests, I still haven't received the technician's diagnostic findings or confirmation of what the borescope showed and whether any consequential engine damage was identified.

Emails to managers Robert Hirst and Michael Pollit remain unanswered, despite the seriousness of the issue and my repeated requests for information. The lack of communication and apparent management oversight throughout has significantly affected my confidence in Audi and I now have a formal complaint ongoing with Audi Customer Services and VWFS.

I would, however, like to recognise Kelly, who has been helpful throughout and is a credit to Audi Warrington.

I note Audi's usual Trustpilot response is to ask customers to email. Audi already has several outstanding emails from me and an open Customer Services case, so I won't be sending another email in response to this review.

After 23 days without my car and still waiting for answers about a significant fault in such a low-mileage vehicle, I expected considerably better from Audi.

Audi Warrington extremely satisfied.

Service desk/advisors very helpful, the technician was very competent, and the receptionist was very welcoming.

All in all a very positive experience + plenty of parking.

Would recommend.

Warrington Audi is a poor operation…

Warrington Audi is a poor operation that prioritises quick, high-margin routine servicing over actual diagnostic labour. When presented with a persistent cooling fault, their service team simply deflected—claiming a 30°C temperature drop at motorway speeds is "normal," directly contradicting Audi’s own owner’s manual. The department operates on brush-off scripts and deflection rather than performing real technical diagnostics.
Whether new sales, second-hand sales, or servicing, over 30% of their Trustpilot reviews are 1-star ratings, reflecting a clear, widespread pattern of poor customer service.
When Audi HQ has to issue verbal apologies for a dealership's handling, it says everything. Save yourself disappointment and frustration and avoid this place. There are plenty of VAG specialists who will preserve your warranty and who actually know how these cars work.

Poor Customer service from the outset....

Not a proper handover at this dealership (especially a franchised Audi one) this should routinely include confirming insurance is in place, arranging or confirming vehicle tax, and correctly processing the V5C/change of keeper so the new owner can tax and drive legally. Tax does not transfer with the vehicle — it is cancelled for the previous keeper and the new keeper must tax it (or SORN it) before using public roads.

Tax was transferred with the car (which it shouldn't of been) which expired on the 30th June 2026 and V5 was not updated to reflect new owner also feedback off Sean Holburt unacceptable and not resolving the issue.

Now the car is off the road for up to 4 weeks while the DVLA write to the prevoius owner and wait for a response before issueing a V5 to allow us to tax the vehicle.
