Stitch helps people connect, it's as simple as that.
Since joining 8 months ago I've made new friends who I now see on a regular basis. I have made acquaitances who I catch up with at like-minded events and best of all, I have found a partner to do life with.
I have hosted some events to do with my local Bowls Club, a win/win situation.
Camping trips have been the best as you get to know people on a deeper level.

"Stitch"is a means of connecting socially with like minded people.You are encouraged through a "simple means" to organise your own interactive activities....
and develop "people skills".Profiles are easily accessible and your group of friends grows to a substantial size quite quickly.
It is a brilliant concept offering rewards to all involved.

I have been meeting lots of new people and having great conversations. I have enjoyed experiencing new venues and menus and trying new activities.
Stitch provides guidelines on the standard of behaviour that is to be followed by all attendees, therefore providing a safe place for everyone.

First of all, I found the name “Stitch” intriguing and I was curious enough to look into what this community was all about. I was very pleasantly surprised that it was not like your typical dating site. It was meeting people from other countries remotely ( I had never done that and I love it), making friends both remotely and in person, maybe right down the block from you. It’s about playing games, eating out, having deep, serious conversations and a whole lot more. It’s really about what you want to make of it.
You can start an activity yourself whenever you want
My talking about it doesn’t do it justice. You have to explore it for yourself by reading about, chatting with someone about it. See for yourself. I think you may be glad you did

My experience with Stitch members has been positive however I do struggle with the app - I have changed my name but not able to update my profile.

There so many offered events, all varied in what they are and where they are.
They provide many options of things to do which is great
Also you meet lots of lovely people and then re-see them at further events - so make friends too

stitch has changed my life. i now have friends and acquaintances that i see every week, month or once in a while. i have fun with the ones that get me and avoid the ones that are on a different wave length, but it is a great idea for our age group. i even met a man. we keep going to events as it broadens our outlook and conversations. Stitch has got me to go to events that i may have never attended because i feel safe knowing there will be someone i know there.

After feeling lost after retiring from work I was extremely lucky to have a friend suggest Stitch to me. I have found all of the events I have attended to be fun and fulfilling. The people I have met have been extremely friendly and welcoming.

It’s a little authoritarian as it punishes men too easily. They accept opinions too easily and discourages any communication via the app. Emails can easily be misinterpreted and taken out of context.

This is such a valuable initiative, bringing people together. Very glad I joined after checking it out for some time beforehand.

So far I have joined a group that has hundreds of members but zero comments or activities. Today I just got an email from Stich inviting me to an event for the 30 th of May (today is June 24 th ) the search engine is terrible ,I put in a discussion group a Stich member told me he had contributed amd it said it didn’t exist. Nkr can I find a member by name . I am supposed to rate every verbal encounter I have ,this is a total turn off for me.

Stitch is a fantastic social organization. It is designed with the utmost safety in mind while providing an incredible sovial outlet. The staff is very responsive when you have questions or suggestions.

Providing a good opportunity for members to meet in safe and enjoyable circumstances
Particularly older people who might find it a challenge to socialise outside their small group of family and friends

Recently I found myself living alone when my partner of many decades was permanently hospitalised. I was so lonely and reluctant and unsure about what to do next. I read about Stitch on Facebook and decided to give it a go. I am so pleased and proud that I did! I have now connected with several people beyond a superficial level and my life is so much better!

Im usually doing an activity every weekend, especially dancing and singing and enjoying time with my Stitch friends and meeting new members is always fantastic. Ive met some lovely fellas too 🩷

Meeting new people and going to places that you would not think that you would go to.
