I am disabled, and I telephoned Stevenson's for the simple purpose of obtaining answers about products I had purchased from them. What ought to have taken two or three minutes occupied upwards of forty, owing to a staggering reluctance to answer the questions put to them. Once another member of staff took the call, the matter was concluded in two or three minutes. I shall leave readers to draw their own conclusions as to where the difficulty lay.
The call ended with a member of their staff hanging up on a disabled customer, which I confess I had not previously encountered outside of farce.
One might have hoped that a company would, at this point, reflect. Instead, Stevenson's have issued a public response asserting that they have "investigated." I should be fascinated to learn how. By their own admission the call was not recorded, and not a single person from the firm has ever spoken to me. An investigation that consults only one party to a conversation is not an investigation. It is a private consultation among colleagues, dressed up as a finding.
They state that my review "does not accurately reflect what took place." Quite so, for it omits what they should prefer remain unmentioned: that my questions were repeatedly ignored, and that the call was terminated on me. They further assert that all matters arising from the call were resolved. This is untrue. Several remain outstanding, precisely because the call was cut short.
The conversation, we are told, "was no longer productive." I suspect this means it had ceased to be comfortable for them. I did not telephone for their convenience. I telephoned as a paying customer, and it is my custom that keeps their lights on. If I am so great an inconvenience to them, I trust they will appreciate that they are an equal inconvenience to me, and I shall be spending my money elsewhere.
They insist that they had no wish to deter my complaint. Yet to hang up on a customer, and then to appear online defending their own side without a word to me, is rather a curious way of encouraging one. It is also the reason this exchange is now conducted in public: they were perfectly able to telephone me, and chose not to.
Poor service happens to the best of firms. A sincere apology would have closed the matter in an afternoon. Instead, Stevenson's have elected to blame the customer for asking questions of the very people employed to answer them, and to blame a disabled customer for their own shortcomings. I find that appalling, and I consider it only proper that others should know before they part with their money.
Should they be even half as sorry as they profess, they might demonstrate it by behaving as professionals rather than sheltering behind an anonymous complaints system and the corporate veil. They hold my contact details. I hold none of theirs. I invite them to pick up the telephone, and to speak to me as one adult to another.

They have fast delivery system. Their refund policy is seemless also.

I ordered a hoodie from this company as it’s the only option available. The item came quickly which was great. Unfortunately, the item itself is a problem. It is washed according to the label but it holds every drop of water. It takes days to dry. This is not normal. Customer service only say they haven’t had any other issues so nothing they can do. This is very unhelpful and doesn’t help the problem I have. Others should be aware that if you have issues you should tell them but don’t expect a helpful outcome.

Still waiting for refund a year on despite obviously sending all items that didn’t fit back. It had been very good until I needed to return items.

Website and order process is very dated and not user friendly. Delivery is extremely slow too - ordered uniform
over a week ago and it still hasn’t arrived. Unfortunately they seem to be the chosen provider for schools and so no option for the consumer but to use them.

Website is slow and confusing to order, all items are very expensive so when you need multiple items it's gonna cost you a fortune, I think it's the worst website I've ordered school uniform from, you have to scroll through a hunder more items you don't want in the checkout making it more annoying really don't recommend it at all! They show you cheaper options that are on "sale" but they are not an option and are left on the site to get your hopes up! Couldn't be more disappointed with the site from start to finish not good!

Kept up to date with everything, parcels arrived on time with both deliveries, only difficulty was sizes wasn’t the easiest to understand but they did say to get in touch if you needed to

great customer service, but quality of the jumpers have declined in recent years.

Had to order school uniform. Sizing of some items is a little off and I had to make a return but it was super easy to return and they gave a small reduction on delivery of another item although the reduction offer was only valid for 24 hours after return which I felt was a bit restrictive. The delivery is very quick.

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the service I received.
I initially purchased the wrong garments (as the school had actually discontinued them) which were subsequently refunded. I then ordered two skorts, but these were missing from my delivery. When I contacted the shop to let them know they hadn’t arrived, I was then informed that they were actually out of stock.
What made this particularly frustrating was that I had attended a fitting appointment back in July specifically to make sure I was organised and prepared well ahead of the new school term. Despite doing everything in plenty of time, the school term has now started and I am still waiting for the skorts to become available.
Unfortunately, the whole experience felt quite disorganised and the level of service was not what I had expected, which was very disappointing.
