The ferry is fine

The ferry is fine. Good cabin with a good bed and shower. Also the restaurants are what you expect. So all in all a good ferry crossing.

Lovely and peaceful way to travel

The crossing was lovely and peaceful compared with flying. The cabin was clean and comfortable and everything went smoothly.

Earlier cancellation information pls!

Next time please inform me earlier about cancellations, not 2 days before departure! So I can manage a rebooking earlier and not during my holidays. This causes stress! It was not because of weather conditions.

Don't bother paying for the Stena lounge

Had booked a return ticket from/to Fishguard to Rosslare in the 2nd half of May 2026. Stena cancelled my outbound trip to Rosslare 'for operational reasons', so I had to book an alternative trip via Irish Ferries out of Pembroke. Had I known before, I would have booked the entire journey with Irish Ferries: cheaper, better lounge facilities and roomier, better food and moreover free WIFI in the lounge. It goes beyond my understanding why Stena must charge extra for a full WiFi connection in the lounge where passengers already pay for an upgraded experience. No Stena Line for me in the future.

Pet cabin experience Hoek v Holland - Harwich

Gorgeous (pet) cabin, access to the boat was easy and swift, explanation of process was clear, I am extremely happy with the experience and I would use Stena again in a heartbeat.

Three minor points of feedback for improvement:
1. When making the announcements that pets need to stay in the cabin, please say “pets and their owners”, as saying pets only might leave room for interpretation;
2. There was some dust along the rubber sides of the wall and next to the bed (nothing major, just noticeable it could be cleaner)
3. The exercise deck for dogs is very small; not sure what can be done about it, but just thought to point it out.

Nevertheless, it was a great experience. Thank you!

Nice Ferry experience!

Fast loading, good cabin, nice food, good atmosphere on board, easy booking, easy access to the terminal. Friendly crew, easy to find ferry loading berth, clean ships.

Ferry vertrekt op tijd

Ferry vertrekt op tijd. Aan en van boord gaan werkt soepel. Wachten bij de douane en paspoortcontroles duren soms wel wat te lang. Laat de passagiers nog weten dat ze in Engeland links moeten rijden en aanhouden. Als voetganger first look to the right and then to the left. Just as a reminder. Same as going to Holland but then the otherway around ofcourse.

Everything went wrong.

Everything went wrong.
On our journey from france to uk you sent us n sms that you cancelled the next boat for us; Fishguard Holyhead!!
And nothing more.
No one answered the phone !!
Answering the email took more than a day.
We had to fix it all by ourselves.
We had to drive more than 270 km s to reach our goal, family in Rosslare
We missed the camping in Fishguard to go to Holyhead.
At least we tried stena NL
They booked our trip to Holyhead dublin.
So if it s possible; we will not go in the future with stena. Because of other troubles in the past we travelled with dfds from Duinkerke to Dover.
Please upgrade your company to a much better one, otherwise you will loose more and more customers!. We will tell this story to a lot of people.

Very friendy personell, wellicht organized

Very friendy personell, willing to help out where possible. From check in to leaving all well organized. We missed that the dog friendly cabins only are available as basic. Especially as you can't leave the cabin wirh your dog, what we do understand, the possibility of a minibar would be appriciated.

I would usually give Stena Line 5 stars…

I would usually give Stena Line 5 stars for the amazing friendly service, clean cabins and easy check in which was the case on my trip to the UK recently. However it seems that Stena Line overlooked a major problem as the toilets did not work on my return journey ( there were already issues on the outward journey) Terrible for the staff to have to clean the cabins and very uno,easant for the travellers. So sorry for the staff!!

Stena delivered what it promised

Stena delivered what it promised, a safe and comfortable crossing.

What really would improve the trip would be to have a nice restaurant. The food in the current one is ok but could be better and the experience feels more like eating in a canteen where sometimes one would like to eat in a restaurant.

Overnight with the dog!

We travelled overnight on the ferry, which we always enjoy and starts the holiday off as soon as you board the ferry. It is nice to be able to have a drink in the bar before going to bed. The room was clean and tidy. It worked well with our dog being in the kennel. The kennels were clean and outside the outside 'exercise' area.

1st time since childhood

1st time since childhood — and without the luxury of getting seasick — I booked last minute and travelled from Hoek van Holland to Harrwich. Very smooth. Just the “lounge” upgrade was very underwhelming. Not worth a paid upgrade at all. Overall great staff and great experience. Connecting public transport is outstanding.

it was good

it was good, food water and coffee is a bit expensive.
a gym would be a nice addition on the ferry, (at least cardio machines), for other entertainment provide e.g. Playstations etc.
