On time, friendly helpful staff. Cabins a much better temperature this time. Often too hot making it hard to sleep. My family and I use the Belfast Liverpool crossing about three or four times a year... See more

Good to know
We understand that passengers come with luggage, so we won’t charge you any extra for yours. Car passengers can bring as much as they can fit into their vehicles. And foot passengers can bring as much as they can carry, so long as no single piece of luggage is over 23kg in weight. That makes packing a whole lot easier!

The accessible toilet really needs a code that only a person who clearly needs it can get in. I was going to toilet with my son who is a full time wheelchair user, a woman with a baby rushed into it she saw me I said oh myson needs this toilet she ignored me

I'm sure there is a reason for putting foot passengers on first, but especially during summer and busy sailings the majority of cars are packed with families. When you get on the boat, a lot of the seats/spaces are taken by solo passengers. Perhaps letting families on first would be better. Other than that fantastic experience.

Returned from Holyhead to Dublin on the 4pm ferry on Fri 17th, when my family and I were boarded, the boat was already full, we walked to all areas and all levels and there were no seats. A lot of families just resorted to sitting on the floor. Went to the information area and the customer service person insisted there were seats, many more queued up to complain. Eventually they opened the Truckers lounge for families. An absolute joke that you pay hundreds of pounds for a ferry and there’s no seats.

The Hygge lounge is a nightmare for sleep because the chairs don’t recline. I wouldn’t book it again. I feel like the impression the marketing gave wasn’t realistic. The TV in there is on all night. But it’s marketed as being better for sleep. It would more comfortable in the main part of the boat.

Amazing experience. Smooth journey from reservation to destination. Used the amend online booking system to change travel plans and it is as easy as doing it the first time. Clean rooms. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great customer service overall.

The boat was quite crowded, with not quite enough seating. There are two lounges which were 1/2 full if even and I think there is too much space for them. The toilets were disgusting by the end of the crossing and there were long queues for everything - food, shops, drinks. I've always enjoyed using Stena but the standards are slipping slightly - staff seemed stretched too but were all lovely.

The booking, check in, disembarkment process was all excellent. However the return journey cleanliness of the toilets were not good

It was a lovely relaxing trip all round. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Boarding and leaving was well managed and as I had my car, this was much appreciated. I enjoy travelling with Stenna. I have always had excellent service.

Lovely helpful staff. Only downside was the reduced offerings in Stena Plus compared to our usual experience. No hot food to order on return journey and not even the usual cheese portions to enjoy. Staff did their best and crossings were fine together with the early embarkation & disembarkation working efficiently.

Helpful friendly staff. Plenty of seating. Good food.
I am not very technical on the computer, but I was able to book our journeys quite easily.

Our ship was due to sail at 4.30 but we didn't leave until 6.00 pm. We were given a couple of different reasons for the delay one of which was an unsafe jetty. The captain apologised a couple of times but never announced that we had eventually set off. It was not clear if we were parking in a different place or finally setting off. The problem was never made clear or it's resolution.

TERRIBLE! When we first arrived on the boat, nothing was open. When the restaurant finally opened, we ordered fish and chips and burgers. The food was dry and tasteless. After that we wanted to go to the family hub, which was described as a gaming area. There were maybe 2 Playstations and 200 kids. And when dinner finally after a long wait arrived because there was nothing to do, we didn't want to order at the restaurant again, so we got some sandwiches and me with a allergy for milk asked if there was cheese in it and the answer was no. There was. I got sick. And then when we got off we had to wait half a hour for the door to open because it was stuck, and the cabins where mad expensive.
Hoek van Holland - Harwich was not it...
