I phoned to see if I could reduce the renewal price. This happened successfully after a fairly long chat on the phone. I thanked the man for his reduction and said I would pay online nearer the expiry date of the present insurance. He was very unhappy for me to do that, saying I would have to go through all that I had done again! I told him that was ridiculous as if I renewed online with the new price I would not need to confer with anyone. But he kept on at me, so I gave up and paid over the phone so that he would leave me alone.

Mixed experience
The first person I spoke to was very good but spoke too quickly and with an accent and I could not catch everything. I am elderley I there for cannot remember about being asked about my medical history so it was missed off. I had to ring again within 5 minutes and update my new policy after just paying the fee. I spoke to Richard who was very understanding and got it all sorted for another fee.. which was a shame but Thank you . Property covered now.

Arranging everything online was simple…
Arranging everything online was simple enough although I had to contact the call centre to clarify a medical condition which was sorted after a short while on hold. Hopefully I won't need to claim but if the call handlers are as helpful as they are when buying the policy, it ought to be straightforward.
