Initially I thought I had asked for next day delivery, however on questioning I was told it would be far more expensive, and after several exchange of e mails I accepted that I would have to wait over the weekend before delivery - BUT what actually happened was it was delivered next day

I have looked into your order details and I see that your order was placed on a Friday and you selected Next Working Day guaranteed delivery (which is Mon-Fri). After you received your order estimated shipping date and ETA, you contacted us to request a guaranteed Saturday delivery - something that all the available couriers charge a premium for (this is beyond our control). The reason your parcel was delivered on the Saturday nevertheless was because many couriers will take additional parcels in their vehicles if there is space in the route and on your occasion, this IS what happened. The premium payment associated by delivery service (Next Day, Saturday, Morning Delivery, etc) is defined by those couriers by use of 'Guarantee'. I hope this explains how your order reached you before our originally sent delivery date and I hope you choose us for your storage needs again soon. First class help from Lucas.
Some first class help from Lucas on my recent NAS purchases and some prior information from him which helped me with a NAS that had failed out of warranty. The outcome was a brand new NAS from the manufacturer. So well done and thank you Lucas.

Dealing with Span over several years I…
Dealing with Span over several years I have always found them to be the best. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and they are always willing to provide first class technical help without being pushy for a sale.
I would recommend them to anyone and they are always my first choice when I need equipment. I have been very fortunate to deal with a guy called Paywand Omer, and you will not find a more diligent or helpful tech guy.

High quality packaging to protect hard drive in transit
Ordered new hard drive which was delivered promptly and most importantly safely
The drive was packaged extremely effectively inside a larger box (marked fragile) containing polystyrene chips so there was little danger of damage in transit. Having had delivery issues with another online vendor in the past I would not hesitate to use span.com again.

I came across Span on line and they seemed to be able to provide exactly what I was looking for. I called with some questions and was helped by Lucas. He was extremely helpful and subsequently responded to my questions ref my order and the delivery of it efficiently and swiftly. I was very impressed, particularly as I have little technical knowledge, with his patience, kindness and good humour. Everything that he said he was going to do, he did, and more so. Span and NASCompares helped me.
Span and NASCompares helped me such a lot in deciding what NAS to purchase and even advice on its configuration for my usage. Furthermore, they are able to completely set up a box to a customer's requirements at no extra charge. I partially did this by purchasing a memory upgrade. I had hard drives and SSD cache already. The price was very competitive and I had the feeling I was dealing with a "computer" seller and not someone who sells washing machines, TVs etc and does not understand anything but the basics about computers.
