I placed an order 3 weeks ago, still says in process. I've been asking for a refund for a week, still no reply. I call, the system says that they are not open, during business hours. Worst experience I have ever had with a retailer. I've never written a bad review, buy this I'd the worst site I have ever dealt with. DO NOT buy from them!!!!
BAD EXPERIENCE. Don't order here unless you want disappointment and frustration. I ordered boots, with a 5-10 day shipping estimate. Item never shipped. No email communication to update status. I tried to call but phone system didn't work. Sent 2 emails to customer service and got no response. After 3 weeks I cancelled my order. No boots.
My husband bought for me the new skies from skies.com. We were so excited because i wanted that kind of skies, and finally we found them on the skies.com. (I need to say that these skies were sold out in the length which we were looking for), so we were so happy that finally found them! We made purchase on January 1 (holiday day), and just was looking for a new email with tracking number. On January, 7 we got email, with tracking number, January 8, i got my new skies!!! The skies ate exactly as a described, new, still in plastic wrap, new bindings. Great deal! Great seller!!! Thank you so much!!!
Still have not received my skis . Called 6x , elected to get a call back instead of waiting on the phone . Two days and nothing . Emailed twice . Two days and nothing . Just the worst customer service . The worst . I never write reviews but this is just obnoxious .
Horrible customer service. We paid an expedite fee for my sons Christmas present. They promised it would arrive on time and if anything changed , they would let us know. Not only was the order 6 days late , customer service was unreachable, didn't bother to reach out to us about the late order and made a bummer of a Christmas morning for our son. I would NEVER recommend this company. It appears they have ZERO customer service and are misleading! AVOID
First, I was on hold for 45min to get an update on an order for which we expedited the shipping. When I finally got someone on the phone, I was told my order was delayed due to a "tax" miscalculation.
OK, so now I'm stupid. Looked at the tax, it was charged in the confirmation email correctly and did not change.
Second, the order was submitted NLT 1pm (confirmation email) 29 DEC for an anticipated trip on 3 JAN. Site says most orders placed by 3pm go out same day. Guess unless there is a TAX issue. I paid for 2 day shipping just in case. Would have done next day if I knew a TAX issue would hold the order in "processing" for 24+ hrs. I was placed on hold to see if the Mgr. would cover the expedited next day ship to get it by the 3rd. After 1 hr on this call Mgr. called back and refused the expedited ship for a $550 order.
With no confidence the stuff would get here either way, I cancelled the order. Second order with skis.com this week, first delivery is delayed still not here, supposed to arrive yesterday.
$1200 worth of stuff you would think they would appreciate the business, NOPE!!
Read the Google reviews on their own customer reviews tab on the lower left corner of their page before ordering. Not a good track record!
And C -j, I get with the COVID things are backed up a bit but just be honest. IF MOST things don't go out the same day don't put that on your website. We're in retail, taxes are calculated automatically for online sales and don't delay orders. IF I was told they couldn't find a thing and were sorry, covered the xtra $20 to expedite their mistake, I wouldn't be writing this. They really didn't care. Proceed with caution!
Absolutely worst company. Sent me the wrong item twice and are failing to issue a refund. Spent more then 8 hours on the phone simply trying to either get the right size shipped or now have a refund issued. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Customer service picked up after 1 ring. Told me my order had shipped 2 days prior and would be arriving the next day. Was also given the UPS tracking number. Item arrived next day, as stated. Only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they didn't originally send an email stating my order had shipped. Most online stores do that these days.
Gave 1 star because couldn’t give 0. Never, I repeat, never will I attempt to buy something from this site. Placed order in August, they provided a confirmation of shipping date — and then nothing, no email response from customer service (multiple tries). Web site showed order being processed in December and after several attempts on the phone, when I did finally get a person they had no record of my order.
I placed two orders at skis.com (aka Summit Sports). The first order arrived, but when I emailed asking about something that was missing (a tool included with my purchase) I received no response.
The second order I placed did not arrive in full. Only one of the three items ordered was received. I called three times. Twice I selected the callback option. When I answered the callback I heard a recorded messaging stating that there are no agents available to take my call, then it disconnects. The third time I called, I waited on hold for 22 minutes until I gave up.
When on hold, the recording indicates you can chat with them online. But there is no chat feature on their site.
I emailed them from their site, twice, and both emails were returned as “undeliverable.” I’ve directly emailed them FIVE times and have received confirmation that my emails were received, but have not received a response. Pretty sure I’m not getting the items I ordered or getting my money back.
I shop online a lot and I’ve never had such a terrible experience. Do not shop here.
Terrible company with no customer service. Paid extra for expired shipping only to see the day they were supposed to arrive that the order was still pending. I emailed customer service with no response after 24 hrs.

I ordered $1,700 ski/binding/boot/helmet kit on October 28th. 10 e-mails and 6 calls to customer service went unanswered and rolled to a voicemail (after 30min) that would not accept messages. I got an agent on the phone on my 7th try. She said my order was all accounted for and the full package would ship last week. That did not happen. 4 calls and 5 more e-mails have gone unanswered. I ended up ordering every item on Amazon for virtually the same price last Saturday. They shipped immediately. I have received the helmet, bindings, and boots already (today is Tuesday). The skis arrive tomorrow! Still no response from skis.com.
ZERO STARS- Skessi.com is a SCAM! The 2nd unauthorized charge double my purchase for Overseas freight alerted me. No way to contact them. CANCEL & RE-ISSUE CARD YOU USED! Ridiculously low prices are a sign as well I fell for. Only in business a few months. My credit union Fraud Dept has deemed this a Fraud case and i'm getting my money back. Don't waste your time campaigning against yet another overseas scammer praying on people during a pandemic. Report it to your state's attorney general so it can be shut down.
As with so many others on this forum, I had a horrible experience with this company after my order, which were skis and boots that were advertised as in stock. Two weeks go by, they won't answer the phone during the weekend, despite advertising weekend office hours, the person who did answer once I got through after waiting 20 minutes doesn't actually work for the company and thus, couldn't help me order new skis since the skis I ordered were now 'discontinued'. I can be understanding, especially during the pandemic, but lack of transparency with this company is appalling, all they had to do was notify me weeks ago and I could've at least shopped elsewhere. Now I don't have skis and this company has left a nasty taste in my consumer mouth...I'll never order from them again. But hey, at least I have ski poles that I ordered from another company who sent them within a few days!
I ordered skis and poles, both of which were supposedly in-stock according to their website. I got the poles, but more than two weeks later, the skis still haven't shipped. I sent two messages about 4 days apart, but neither were responded to. I called and was told to hang up and get a call back when someone was available. I bit later, that call back was an automated voice saying that no one was available to call back, and then hanging up on me. Will never do business with again.
UPDATE - I have started a PR campaign against this company and have been submitting letters to the editor in the CEO's hometown area. I am encouraging the rest of you to do the same. My letter is below...
Is Summit Sports Legit? Asking for a Friend…
I am calling on all area residents to answer a question that many others across the entire United States cannot seem to find. Are there really Summit Sports stores that you can walk into and purchase a sporting product? Do they have real people working at the store who answer customer questions? I am asking because Summit Sports and their online affiliate stores are taking peoples hard earned money and not sending them the sporting products they purchase.
People have orders that have been “processing” for over 30 days, and no one will answer their customer support phone calls or emails. You can press 1 for a call-back, but then an automated message immediately calls you back to say no one is there to call you back. Huh? What? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?
Why write this letter you may ask? I have no other way of getting an answer from Summit Sports other than making the 5 ½ hour drive to the warehouse and knocking on the door. I want local residents to know that one of their own (Steve Kopitz, CEO) is fleecing families from all four corners of this country during a time when people are having a hard time making ends meet. Do you know Steve? Maybe you do not believe me or the hundreds of others? Just search all the online reviews for Summit Sports and affiliates.
