do not waste your time with this…

do not waste your time with this company..hopefully you are not as dumb as me..I found a great Ski/Binding combo at a great price..and neglected to check reviews before hand..big mistake..My experience was exactly like the vast majority of reviews..took my order showing inventory, gave me a 2 week delay ship time, and then pushed that out another 9 days..with no intention of ever shipping me what I ordered, and no response to my inquiries. Give you a low level customer service rep, who can't tell you anything, and thats the last you hear from them..don't respond to emails..nice corporate model

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!!!

I waited 2 weeks, like my order said. Started reading reviews about the website online. So I called costumer service to figure out why my item has not arrived to find out that the item (boots) is not in stock and won't be in stock for the next couple of months! That is ridiculous! DO! NOT! SHOP!

Do not order from here!

I placed an order a month ago for a premade ski package. I had two of the 3 items sent to me and have been waiting a month for my skis before getting frustrated and reaching out to customer service. After 1 week of no reply, I received a response that they have cancelled my order as the item is now out of stock. Completely terrible customer service that had absolutely no care that I was waiting to receive my skis.

Dreadful customer service

Dreadful customer service. First call I did get a rep who explained that only part of my order shipped. Never got the rest, never got a message. Second call got stuck on hold, used the "call back" feature and got a call with a recorded voice saying there was no one to take my call. Sent an e-mail, never heard back. Placed third call which informed me that they were sold out and my order would not be completed. Sending the whole thing back since skis and boots without bindings don't work.

AVOID!!!!

AVOID!!!!
Ordered a lot of items well in advance of a ski trip. Nothing happened. Called and spoke with customer service that said some of the items are now out of stock but the rest on their way. Still nothing. Called back a few days later and was told nothing had shipped and the agent literally said that because their model is to ship from stores, they have no idea what they actually have in inventory. Crazy that in 2021 an online store with a premier domain name can't get this basic stuff right.

It's hit or miss with skis.com

Would give one star, but added a second star because it's hit or miss with them. I've had a first ok experience (items ordered were delivered and in a timely manner). But my latest purchase is a miss. One of the items was defective after 2 usages and well, like the other reviews here, customer service is basically non-existent. Unfortunately, the item was for my son who was just starting his season's races, and I needed a replacement asap. So I had to buy, elsewhere mind you, another and now have to trash what I got from skis.com I guess :/
Closing my account with them, not worth it.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience! Called multiple times. Put on hold for 20 minutes each time. Never spoke to anyone. Ordered boots was supposed to ship out 2/6. Recieved updated ship status of 3/13. Emailed them and cancelled the order. Received a credit in 2 days. I guess they did not want my business. Go to your local shop. They will match everything online!!

I'm only giving them 2 stars because I got half the stuff I ordered. Don't trust anything on that website to be in stock, it probably isn't. I've had to call CS more than once to check on an order that said "processing" for an in-stock item. They also won't respond to your e-mails, so you will be forced to talk to them. Terrible communication all the way around.

10% Refund

I was actually able to receive a 10% refund for the skis I got because they did not come with ski tip protectors that were supposed to be included. Still, I would have preferred to get the tip protectors because they seem to be nearly impossible for individuals to get without some kind of assistance from a retailer. They did not even try to help me get them.

The negative reviews are accurate

The negative reviews are accurate. 2 separate orders, same issue. Was in stock when ordered. Received partial order and nothing else. Sent emails that replied with please be patient. Finally called and after 45 minutes confirmed both orders are out of stock and not sure why no one communicated that to me. Cancelled the orders. Lets see if the returns come through.

Worst Company!

This website is a total scam. I ordered ski boots and after over 2 weeks of not receiving a tracking confirmation or the boots themselves, I emailed skis.com. They responded and I was told that there was an "error made in the shipping warehouse" and that a tracking confirmation email would be sent to me asap. I never received any emails after that. I called and spoke to a representative who gave me the run around. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told that "all managers are currently on calls". I was then told that a manager would call me back in the next 2-3 hours, which of course never happened. I then emailed several times after that and never got a response. I finally decided to go to a local ski shop and purchase boots which was a wonderful experience. I called to cancel my order, that was never shipped, and they helped me in about 2 minutes to take care of that. Worst online experience I've ever had and I shop online often. Save yourself lots of time and frustration and buy your ski products elsewhere!

Awful. Literally the worst online purchase experience of my life. Purchase 1/14 and still not shipped on 2/2. 3 calls and 3 emails to customer service, not a help. Stay away.

Buyer beware!

I received 1 of the 2 items I ordered. The estimated shipping date of missing item was 12/3/20. I was told by the customer service rep. that it conveniently shipped on the day I called them in late January 2021!. 43 days after the estimated shipping date. When I informed him that I had moved, the rep. said there was nothing he could do and I had to call UPS They didn't provide a tracking number and never replied to my inquiry.
When I asked to speak to a manager, rep. said all management was out and to call back in three days.
Still no reply to my inquiry.

Worst customer service ever

We ordered Lange RX 130 Ski Boots in May 21st 2020 and Skis.com confirmed the boots will arrive during August. In August they promised they will arrive in September, in October 1st the delivery date was October 14th then in November 28th they said December 12th and after sending multiple emails December and beginning of January with no reply on their side in January 22nd they cancelled my order because they don't have stock but you can see the boots in my size in the website (for $300 more of course). The manager I spoke to was rude and said there is nothing they can do after someone else lied to me saying this happened because they changed their system in September and all the orders were cancelled. I won't buy in this website ever again.

I ordered skis that were in stock.

I ordered skis that were in stock.. ten days later still no skis. When i called to find out the status they tell me they don't have the skis. The customer service is terrible. I was told a supervisor, Royce Jones, would call me by the end of the day, no phone call. I've been on hold more time than i ever got to speak to someone.

Completely different experience than others

After being nervous reading all the terrible reviews after I placed an order, I felt like I should leave an update about my experience. Ordered a helmet for my daughter at an amazing price on Monday, it shipped the next day and arrived by Thursday, with nothing but their standard shipping speed. Couldn't have had a quicker, easier experience with a great value. Would order again for sure.

LIES, LIES, LIES, DISHONEST, HORRIBLE SERVICE

This company is completely dishonest about what they actually have for inventory. We ordered skis that showed in stock and to ship the next day. Obviously this never happened nor did it ever. We called a few day's later and they said that they were on back order. Not being in a huge hurray we let it slide. 2 weeks later, still nothing! Same song and dance, "we will look into it and get back to you" is what we were told 4 times which never happened either. Out of curiosity I wanted to see how long the lies would go for until after 19 day's I said the hell with SKIS.com and told them how I felt which resulted in me telling to cancel the order.

Slow Shipping - Poor Customer Service

I called to place my order because we needed a helmet for my son to arrive on Thursday for a family trip. It was Tuesday and I specifically asked the agent if I paid the $25 to expedite the shipping would it ship that day and I would get my helmet on time. She assured me that I would get it on time and processed the order on the phone. The next day, the helmet had not shipped yet. When I called customer service, I got a whole spiel about it taking 1-2 days to process the order. I gave the name of the rep and insisted that is the reason that I called first and paid the premium for expedited shipping. After being put on hold a number of times, the new agent told me that they would upgrade the shipping to overnight because the first agent made a mistake. Unfortunately, the helmet finally shipped with two day shipping and therefore failed to arrive on in time for our trip. So, we paid a premium to expedite the shipping and they failed to deliver. What lousy customer service!
