Sample arrives quickly, but was just a small block of MDF. I would have thought it was obvious when ordering skirting that you want to see the profile of the skirting, but apparently not. I mean it’s a nice little piece of MDF and it’s white, so that’s helpful (not)

Great products as always. Peter our delivery driver was brilliant we waited patiently while my wife arrived to take delivery. Peter put the items in the garage for my wife which was brilliant. Thanks again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They corrected a poor delivery very quickly so no problem there. We ordered primed dado rail and beading - big mistake! Their primer is awful, paint does not stick! It takes 3-4 coats to get anything like a finish and then it chips off at the slightest touch. Their answer is to lighty sand the product - can you imagine lightly sanding 50mtrs of intricately moulded beading?

Spent £350 and booked time off to make sure we could receive the delivery only for the delivery to be completely wrong! Certainly won’t be using again

We’re really pleased with the stack of MDF primed skirting boards we purchased from Skirting4U. We ordered a sample first to check the quality, as the ones we’d seen locally were nowhere near as good. Not many companies online even offer samples, so that was a big plus.
We had a few questions before ordering and spoke with a very knowledgeable person called Ciara, who was extremely helpful. The skirting arrived within two weeks, well-packaged, and delivered by their own friendly driver.

Great quality, excellent service – we’ll definitely be using them on our next project!

I went to order online and needed the materials for a customer on the weekend, spoke to the live chat and they promised me a Friday delivery. They proceed to phone me on the Friday, (i booked the job in for the customer on the Saturday) to tell me shipment was delayed and it wouldn’t arrive until Tuesday (4 days overdue) absolutely shambolic from start to finish, first time using this company and it will be the last. Please use someone else, it will probably save you money also, and don’t listen to them if they tell you a delivery date, certainly don’t book clients in on the basis your material will be there because it probably wont.

Great experience with Skirting4U, I am not a regular buyer of these sort of products so went with previous reviews from other buyers and apart from a little hiccup with my account on the website stating that I had no order in place this was resolved by phoning the company who very helpful, although they didn't know why the order was not showing.
The product itself, a mixture of 4 and 3 metre lengths of dado rail was delivered on the appointed day and was extremely well packaged and on inspection was straight, primed with no obvious damage. Which is quite a thing when you consider how parcel companies handle their goods.

Skirting arrived as promised, in the correct time slot. The priming of the profile part is a bit rough and we should have sanded it down before painting, as the roughness is still visible after painting.

However, the samples from other companies were even rougher, so I don't know whether this is a good reason to avoid them. Other than that, the quality is good, and the initial samples arrived promptly as well, which was very helpful in choosing the right profile. Price is a bit high compared to some competitors.

This was my first online order with this company and I have been very impressed. My order was acknowledged from day one and I have been constantly updated regarding the same. I paid for express delivery and I was informed the delivery would be between 8-10 am on my chosen date, which happened to be the worst day of the year so far for weather, but nevertheless delivery was at 7.45 am by a very nice helpful young man, who helped carry the skirting in the house for me and made sure I was happy about matters. The skirting was carefully wrapped. When my builder came to use the skirting he remarked what good quality it was. They were just as described and I am very pleased with the look/condition. I opted to have them primed - again the right decision and again I was kept informed by the company of when this was being done. So all in all I would definitely recommend this company. Very impressed in every way.

We live in Scotland. It is often difficult to order things online without having to pay exorbitant delivery charges so when I was looking for a short length of deep Victorian style skirting I wasn't having much luck. Many of the places charged more for delivery than the skirting cost. Anyway in June, I was passing through Birmingham and made a very last minute decision to see if there was anywhere l could get some skirting while I was there (I had the car so could collect in person). I tried a couple of places but no one had the skirting in stock and as I was due to leave the next day, there wasn't much time for them to make it to order either. I was about to give up when I phoned Skirting 4U and spoke to the extremely helpful receptionst (sorry I missed her name!). She offered to put through a rush order for me and it would be ready to collect the next day. I ordered online and she did the rest. Their online system provided lots of detailed updates (I got notifications telling me when it was cut, profiled, primed and ready for collection). I had to continue my journey by lunchtime the following day but Skirting 4U completed the job even more quickly than I expected and it was ready to collect the following morning. The skirting is perfect - exactly what I was looking for and great quality so I am extremely pleased.

Ordered Victorian skirting, the skirting is of the best quality, numerous progress updates on the order and delivered on time!

I checked their Trustpilot reviews before ordering and was a little worried due to mixed reviews, but they had the profile and rebate length I needed. The order arrived on time and the pre arrival communications were excellent. Unfortunately due to being express shipped and primed one board had slightly stuck to another and with a minor crack at the end where the rebate was the board split along 2m as we lifted the boards to take into the house. I dropped a note via email that evening to ask to talk with them. I received a call at 8.30am the following day, explained the issues and they had a replacement being manufactured before I'd got off the call. Jorgie could not have been more responsive and helpful. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone.

Poor colour matching, quality and poor after sales service. Ordered high value white oak and whilst natural variations might be expected, skirting and architraves are wildly different in grain and colour from white to deep pink and deep brown. Joiner is despairing. They look a total mess. They have black marker pen on some planks and scrapes of blue and red paint. Complained and was told send them back and we will give you a 50 per cent refund and thats only option. Because its a 'natural product'. I wish I could upload pictures of the wood differences you would laugh. I can't afford to waste hundreds of pounds. Enough to make me cry I tell you. Its terrible quality and not fit for purpose.

Sample was misleading, delivery was 3 days late, had cancel original appointment for it to be fitted, staff said only 50% refund…. Absolutely ridiculous

Skirting 4U were literally the only site where I could find the specific sized Ogee architrave & skirting I needed to replace damaged pieces in my home.
For some reason everywhere, including B&Q did every size apart from the one I needed.

It was very easy to order & was given updates at every stage of my timber being prepped & shipped. I was able to pick a delivery date that suited and it arrived on time.

Great service and definitely recommend.

I was actually really surprised to see the negative reviews on here as I came on (unsolicited) to say what great customer service (and products) I have received.
I can only judge them by my own experience and
have now ordered twice from this company and both times have been impressed with the customer service, delivery and products.
This included a long drawn out phone call where I didn't really know what I needed and found the staff really patient and helpful.
Skirting boards are beautiful and arrived on date and within 2 hour slot given.
