Nigel was a great trainer! He was very understanding and there was no question that seemed silly or stupid to ask. He was very open minded and made the sessions fun but of course remained respectful of what the course entailed.
I would highly recommend the course as it was insightful and very knowledgeable.
However again, a big shout out to Nigel!!

Gavin and Steve where amazing to learn from, they adapted different teach styles to suit everyone in the class, they made it fun and enjoyable and the jokes made us all feel at ease!

Really good delivery of the Mental Health First Aider course from our trainer Claire. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that some of the activity instructions were pretty ambiguous which meant time was spent clarifying which could have been better used on learning.

It was a great refresher!
The online training was easily accessible and meant that I could complete it at my own pace and come back to it over a time period.
I liked that the face-to-face learning was broken up into academic and tasks, so that we were not just talked at for the day.
Michelle was lovely and made me feel at ease.

I really enjoyed the first aid course . Azhar the trainer with his side kick Steve were brilliant at getting everyone involved in understanding the impact of acting appropriately when dealing with the different scenarios.

Paul the trainer. made what can be a dark subject very enlightening. The format from previous MHFA course taken was more engaging and interactive with the other students on the course. It made for an enjoyable two days and the information was absorbed without realising it. cannot speak highly enough of Paul.

From the off I had a great experience with our trainer Sacha.
She was instantly a hit with everyone high energy and enthusiasm, she made the course not only fun but relivant to our Individual circumstances.
She made the training practices fun for us so it didn't seem awkward preforming our Dr ABC techniques and also our CPR training.
While I am here explaining her talent/ approach as being fun, do not think this was a just course to fool around on the Information was delivered well and because of her methods I recon I will remeber them 3 short days for years to come.
Personally I thank you Sacha for this experience, keep doing what you do and never change !.
Thank you.
Anthony.

Neil delivered the course in an easy / fun but equally serious way to grasp. Engaged the group throughout. Was a really good experience and looking forward to being able to offer support in my company should the time come.

Laura at Ipswich was excellent. She made the session enjoyable with her fun sense of humour but was extremely knowledgeable. I have been on lots of PFA courses before and this was the most informative and enjoyable I have been on.

The deliver of the course was Fantastic Hina, made it very exciting and engaging by making easy safety topic practical other then just Theory. Friends were made over the 2 days on the refresher.

It genuinely breaks my heart to leave a bad review for St John Ambulance – I’ve always been such a big fan of the work you do, and it feels like things have really gone downhill since I first started trying to apply. I waited a whole year just to finally get an interview, and now it’s been over one whole month since that interview and I’ve heard absolutely nothing.
To be fair, the interview itself was perfect – the staff were so nice, really kind and accepting, and they took the time to explain things properly when I found bits confusing or hard to follow. That part was brilliant.
But this wait is just endless. This role doesn’t even need a DBS or criminal record check, yet every time I call or follow up I get told exactly the same thing: “It’s still at the interview stage, waiting to be signed off”. I get copied into emails that go nowhere, ask for updates, and never get a proper reply, no phone call, no news at all.
Of course if anyone gets back to me properly and sorts this out, I will happily take this review down straight away. But until then, I think it’s only fair people know what to expect if they apply – it’s such a shame, because I wanted this so much.
