After sale customer service is lacking! Only keen on creating a hype

This is my second negative review as someone who has been loyal to the brand for nearly 5years.
I am having to do ‘Admin’ work lately. Inform them my order is delayed, go back and forth to get DHL express fee refunded and also request them to kindly atleast to prioritize refunds. Even the refunds are not being done properly. Multiple orders are returned together(which they allow) and they only refund for one order. I need to keep a log and good thing I have pictures as proof.
It’s exhausting these days. This week alone I spent around €1800. Worst part, they are way too enthusiastic when customers ask questions on the upcoming releases on Instagram, but, deliberately ignore feedback on customer service.

Update: this happened again! The team only processed half of my returns and I needed to email them. I would really like to speak to you to understand if you are intentionally ignoring providing better service to loyal customer and only focusing on your new customers??

Generally great but very disappointing experience with shoes

I generally love Sezane clothes and have been happy with almost everything I have bought; returns only made where I just did not need what I'd ordered and couldn't justify it, as per my order last week. The attention to detail in quality is generally very good for the price. I really hope they do not let more synthetic fabrics creep into collections, especially polyester.

The one exception is a pair of shoes I bought last year- the Matilda ballet flats - they cut the back of my feet so badly that I bled into them and was in pain with scarring for weeks afterwards. It was a real shame because otherwise they are beautiful shoes. It did not put me off buying from the brand overall but I am now very wary about the footwear, unfortunately.

Delivery is a little slow but not ludicrous.

I want to love this brand but…

I want to love this brand and I have many gorgeous items from this beautiful French atelier but I have yet to make an order on line which has been processed smoothly. Given the cost of the order I am so disappointed that on this occasion the tracking order given is wrong and now the order needs to be located. The fact there is no customer service contact number or option to speak to the London stores is very frustrating and poor service I’m afraid. Please please do better and make the customer experience a bit easier.

Return label not downloading

I was making a return and the label wasn’t downloading…sent a quick email and in a few minutes the label was emailed to me- problem solved! Great customer service, love the quality of my purchases and it’s great to be wearing one-of-a-kind in the circles I travel in 😄

Exquisite products and great costumer service

I’ve been a customer for quite some time, and my Sézane clothes and accessories have become some of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe. I recently needed to return the Apolline Boots and order a different size, and the Sézane team was incredibly helpful, responsive, and quick to resolve the issue. I’m very happy with their service and support.

Poor customer service

Received a faulty item and sent an email. It has been a week and there has been no response or update from customer service. I also returned an item and customer service did not refund me the full amount and keep insisting that they did. How could I have purchased a $68 top for $45? 😓 Very disappointing experience

Men’s XL Matthis Wool Sweater Shrunk after first handwash in cold water

Purchased my husband this sweater XL. He wore it once and I followed the handwash instructions in cold water and wool wash. It shrunk to size of kids jumper. Customer service have ignored my complaint on quality as I havnt received a response to email. They obviously do not stand by the products they sell if they can’t address a quality complaint with a customer. Quality is appalling for over $200 sweater. Was a regular customer, but never again. Avoid unless you want to throw your money away on un-usable clothing 🤷‍♀️ horrendous

Impressively good customer care service

I did a mistake in the postal code of my online purchase. They resolved quickly, proposing options, following up with me and the transport company, a lot of time on their side at no extra cost for me. Really impressive customer service! And the products are amazing (separate topic :)). Highly recommended!!

I am unable to use the credit on my…

I am unable to use the credit on my account as my I phone does not support the latest version of their app .I was told to use the website not the app which I tried but no way to access my account as it just tell me to download the new version of the app. The chat /whats app is useless and they are claiming they have no phone number that they can be contacted through! Very odd for such a large company .I bought goods from Sézane which were not delivered as I had paid for them with a gift voucher they would only issue an other gift voucher as my refund ,I now have no way of using it .
Very poor service

I ordered a $600 jacket 2 weeks ago

I ordered a $600 jacket 2 weeks ago. My jacket has been stuck in Paris airport customs according to FedEx since the day it shipped out. I’ve contacted Customer Service via email and never got a response. Then used WhatsApp and was told there’s was nothing I could do. They said customs is out of their control. Fair. I asked if they could refund me and recall the jacket. They said they’d recall the jacket but couldn’t refund me until the jacket was back at their “Aetlier”. They said no guarantee though that it would ever move out of customs. Actually said “no guarantee”. So I might never get a refund and that’s what is acceptable to them. Waste of $600. Don’t shop here.

I had an issue with a coat and contacted them via whatsapp. They were responsive and very helpful. I was disappointed in the brand but their outstanding customer service turned things around. I managed to get the coat replaced. I continue to be a satisfied and loyal customer all thanks to the way they handled things.
