Saga is a good company with a somewhat clunky website and not ideal customer service at first but once a qualified person looks into a complaint (mine was relatively minor about inability to update payment details on the website) they really bend over backwards to rectify anything that didnt go right.
I was in a position where I needed urgent advice from my travel insurer at a time when the other offices were closed. I got definitive and immediate help and purchased a policy for my immediate trip to Menorca.
The adviser was sincere and professional. I was impressed and very appreciative.
Excellent customer service and great value for money.
Found the person that I spoke to was very helpful and dealt with my enquiry and added the extra named driver in the my policy
Took our car insurance through Meerkat. Used Saga few years ago but always renew through meerkat. Saga was the only company today who did not change the quote after meerkat calculations. Had to pay slightly higher dep but stayed withing my monthly budget. Thank goodness.
Cover for my wifes car more than doubled at renewal, she has never in her motoring history had a claim, had no motoring convictions, her initial premium was competitive some £360 at renewal it increase to almost £1000

The first Agent I spoke with had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. I was told I was not covered when making a claim which I clearly was! When asking to speak with another Agent I was told to put the phone down and redial. Simon being the second Agent swiftly made up for this and dealt with the claim very efficiently. Thank you Simon. It is sad that the initial point of contact failed which is not a good Ambassador for Saga Insurance. I would give 5 star if the review was on Simon alone but 0 to the initial Agent. Thank you.

If I could give SAGA Insurance broker a 0, I would. This company is not providing any service to their customers except taking their money!!!
£350 per month! I filed a complaint and asked for a Subject Access Request that allows me to access my data under the Data Protection Act. I stated exactly what information I wish them to provide only for SAGA to make the decision to be selective in what they wish to share with me (and what not). Indeed, they explicitly stating in their response that they made the decision to exclude certain information. Crucially, the withheld information is the key to my complaint. That clearly demonstrates that this company cannot be trusted.

On-line website for booking travel insurance is good, and much better than some. But could be made easier to use.
