Trowbridge delivery office in Wiltshire are completely incompetent. Despite being in waiting for this important package, you decided on Monday that the parcel wasn’t able to be delivered but with no explanation and today (Tuesday) it now says on the tracking that delivery couldn’t be completed due to accessibility issues??? What the hell does that even mean? It’s funny that all my neighbours managed to come and go throughout the day and my wife got to the house without any issues so this is a load of bull s**t as usual. Just lazy delivery drivers making up stuff to justify not delivering packages in my opinion.

PATHETIC - parcel not delivered twice to my designated safe place. 2nd time said they couldn't find it -it is my garden gate - 6' tall 3' wide in full view of anyone walking up the drive. Delivered mail for someone down the road through my door and then walked across my garden to get to neighbours house. Tried to complain and asked to tick to confirm I'm human and then click on out of place arrows. Did this twice, then asked to click on animals in a grid, did this 3 times, asked to click on arrows again and lost the will to live. Hence this review. Tracking is also mostly none existent. All the other delivery company's tracking is efficient. Why the hell do business's use Royal mail. The parcel was despatched on 48 hr tracked a week ago.

So I ordered delivery to my company address as I am there every day, as a business we open at 8:30 close at 6pm , usually in 8:10 am
Got notification, they could not get access to site at 8am, when the time slot THEY booked was 8:40 -10:40 on Friday morning , we are clearly business from the name, then even though was paid for 24hr delivery, even if they re delivered Saturday I could understand if they could not try again that day because they travel from town to town miles and miles(remember last sentance). So although they missed the time not me they rebooked Monday.

I ordered some stuff from boots and they use Royal Mail which they need to seriously re consider. My first parcel they left in the bin chute of my apartment and claimed it as safe space. They did not use the red card they should use to reschedule instead just left my parcel in unsafe space and signed the parcel off them self. Anyway I contacted boots and they sent another one which today I waited all day in my home so I can collect my parcel… I was checking the live tracking and it was literally in my neighbourhood with a few drops to go. I get a update on Royal Mail saying the I was not in and the courier couldn’t deliver the parcel.. AGAIN no red card to reschedule. Special delivery next day guarantee by 1pm ordered on Friday and not arriving until Tuesday. That's not next day delivery and is a fraud. Call the service "you will get it when we can" not "guarantee next day delivery".

I have had several of my parcels returned to the sender after being held for over a week at the local delivery office. I received no red card thru my letterbox and received no text from R.M. to inform me to collect from them. Tracking from RM thru eBay just says items were undeliverable. Today I had a huge wad of letters squashed thru my letterbox.some letters including NHS appointment over 2 weeks late . I saw postman and he explained that sorting office is in a huge mess . Royal mail is not fit for purpose and should be forced to employ enough staff to offer the service which everyone pays for.

Eventually I received a second e mail saying it would be delivered between 2.25 and 7.30. No apology. No explanation. They repeatedly claim to have attempted deliveries when, in my experience, no genuine delivery attempt was ever made. Their phone lines are useless, contacting anyone is practically impossible, and their customer service is shockingly incompetent.
This company has caused me enormous financial losses, endless inconvenience and an unacceptable amount of stress. Every single time Royal Mail is involved, it becomes synonymous with delays, problems, excuses and complete disregard for the customer.
The level of negligence and disrespect is appalling. A company that operates this badly should not be allowed to continue providing such an essential service. Royal Mail is unreliable, unprofessional and an utter embarrassment.
I am beyond furious. This is not an isolated incident. It is a repeated pattern of failure, and I am sick of paying the price for their incompetence.
Andover delivery services broken!!
I have just moved to Ludgershall near Andover. We are only getting one delivery a week. This is really poor especially when you are waiting on important mail. We are not allowed to collect our mail. So what are we to do? We have to wait for a substandard service. I want my mail at least every other day. NOT once a week. Not receiving mail regularly has a massive impact on personal wellbeing, financial and life in general!!!! I will be forced to take further action if it mail is delayed any further as there will be major financial implications that I will incur.

Having had a very rare brain tumour, I was told to always wear medical ID incase of an emergency situation. My old one broke and I ordered a new one. The very next day, the parcel was shown as having been delivered by the Royal Mail. It cost me in excess of £100
I was in the house all day and there was no post delivered to my proper. On checking with the company who made the ID Tag, the lady confirmed my address was on the parcel. Later, I checked the Royal Mail website and it showed it had been delivered to an address some distance away. I went to the property and unfortunately it is vacant and I had no possibility of retrieving my parcel.
For an organisation that allegedly prides itself on delivering mail and parcels both nationally and internationally, I am somewhat amazed at how the employee cannot read and deliver to the correct address.
Secondly. The modern, machine-readable alphanumeric PostCode system, we use today, was invented by Postmaster General Ernest Marples in Norwich in 1959. So in 67 years how can’t they get it right!
